I've been using People.ai for a bit now, and I've been consistently impressed. I use it to track how my team is doing, how my clients are doing, and how I'm doing. I can create custom dashboards with any metric I want to see. I can set goals, and they'll track my progress towards those goals. I can set up competitions between my team, and they'll tell me who's winning and who's losing. You can share these dashboards with your team, which means that everyone can see how everyone else is doing.

  • DAYS OF THE WEEK/TIME:
  • Few things in Hubspot can be categorized by the DAY OF THE WEEK. It's always just the numbered date. In terms of automating a Sales team where someone gets leads on a specific DAY of the week, "Monday", this could improve. Does that make sense?
  • TICKETS:
  • Maybe it's just me... but after 2 years of using Hubspot, I still don't understand this Ticket structure versus just using TASKS.
  • Again, maybe it's me. We do not use Tickets EVER and I don't see how things would be different if we did.
  • ACTIVITY FEED:
  • This seems to be glitchy and often gives notification of, "Someone Click, Opened" blank... I understand this often happens because more than one person is on that email thread... Could this be fixed that if we do not know who "Someone" is, that instead it at least would list the EMAIL ADDRESS if not the name?
  • CONTACTS PAGE:
  • I love this page, but this has nothing compared to using LISTS. Using the Lists feature is likely the best way to really find a detailed list of clients. I wish the Contacts page was able to have some more Filtering Functionality across other properties such as Deals or Activities as the LISTS feature can do.

  • People.ai has a robust platform, however, this requires sales reps to log into one more platform and the People.ai platform is not customizable for selecting what can be viewed by users. If People.ai were to make the features in their platform available in Salesforce it would be a huge win for leveraging the data they aggregate. Hoping an API will soon be on the Roadmap
  • Time Spent. People.ai uses some logic to attribute values on the "time spent" on the activities being captured. They did improve their meeting aggregations so that they were not "double counting" time when multiple meetings were booked in the same time slot for a rep. Email time spent still seems to have some errors as the time spent on emails can show in excess of the weekly working hours of the reps.

      Ease of use, ease of customizability, and ease of 3rd-party integration, especially to LinkedIn Navigator, all play a vital role in our increasing reliance of HubSpot Sales for our growing sales team. Also taking into account the great training and support for HubSpot Sales available from HubSpot, including HubSpot Academy.

      Since we launched HubSpot Sales Hub into our organisation's tech stack, we've experienced a smooth transition and implementation process for those using this solution. The ease of use and the interface experience is amazing and that was a main priority for us in the purchasing phase. So far, we've been nothing but very happy with the support, implementation, and ongoing development of our sales team adapting to the solution. Highly recommend it for usability and functionality!

      Oh my goodness HubSpot Support is just amazing. I submitted a question/issue to them yesterday and by this morning I had this response:
      "Hi Stephanie, I hope this finds you well and thanks so much for your patience while I was working to update the extension with my team. We were actually able to push through an update yesterday afternoon which set the default lifecycle stage to lead in the sidebar. If you take a look now, that should be in place. If it has not updated yet, I would recommend uninstalling and re-installing the sales extension so an updated version and be pushed through. Again, I want to say that I sincerely appreciate that you took the time to reach out to us and help us iron this out. HubSpot really values constructive feedback with real use-case backing to help push it along. So, thank you!"

They scheduled a call to go over each individual tool with our team and provided guidance and best practices plus answered any questions are new users had. It was wonderful and really helped them get started confidently

      We have tried a few for a few days but the one we used for the longest time was Pipedrive. I loved Pipedrive because they have a lot of advanced functionalities and the cost was less than HubSpot. We were able to automatize our email follow-ups and they have a great design where they use a lot of colors to differentiate between if a deal is hot, warm, cold or red, green-yellow (traffic light kind of system) to know if there are action items in the deal or if the deal is idle and needs an interaction. We changed to HubSpot because we were impressed but the number of functionalities and the great reports and analytics that you can get out of the system but in the end a lot of functionalities that we wanted to use we had to make a decision if we wanted to pay more or do more manual work in order to maintain HubSpot. Another thing to keep in mind is Pipedrive offers an unlimited number of contact storage whereas HubSpot gives you 2000 contacts free and if you want to have more you have to pay an additional cost.

      The easiest comparison would be to email automation vendors like a SalesLoft, Outreach, or Groove. But People.ai doesn't have a template email send like a sequence or cadence feature you would find with them. It is more of a compliment to the email automation vendors than a competitor in my opinion. We want our SDRs to have the ability run sizable outbound campaigns so they still use Outreach. However, we deactivated the Outreach activity sync and run activity syncing through People.ai. If someone gets added into the email CC, People.ai will grab that person and create them as a contact against the matching Salesforce account. For our Sales reps, we want them to have the ability to track opens, link clicks, and send templated emails so we have them use Groove. Again, we deactivated the Salesforce sync and use People.ai syncing. This is a great way to automate the pain away from creating Opportunity Contact Roles and create all relevant contacts in Salesforce from CC's on emails to people added last minute on a calendar invite. My favorite part is how it ingests data directly from Google and doesn't allow a Sales Rep to not to sync an activity to Salesforce, it happens automagically

      • We are able to consistently hit our outreach goals every week of 160 emails per SDR and BD. Sending 160 emails used to take us about 20 hours / SDR / week, and now it takes about 5-7 hours / SDR / week, based on the Sales tools.
      • We've gotten to within 75% accuracy on our sales forecasts by analyzing our Hubspot reports, and better understanding the predictability of our revenue.
      • We have saved hundreds of hours in sales training by onboarding new SDRs and BDs using Hubspot's templates and sequences.

      • Time back for the whole team. We don't log calls anymore, we just work.
      • Great insight into who on your team may be wasting time with low-impact customers. This is near impossible to measure without this tool.
      • Marketing data is always current so we email the right people vs relying on my teams (Sales, Marketing, anyone) to be data stewards.
