Huddle

If you must simultaneously edit documents on a project, Huddle is not a good option. Also, if your team is not technically savvy, the learning curve can be challenging. Finally, if you need hundreds or thousands of people working on a project, Huddle might not be the right choice. I think it is better for teams under 100 people.

Hubshare, from M-Files

Hubshare, from M-Files is an excellent tool in creating a free access point in a company, where employees easily acquire authorization for all the files. Two, Hubshare automates all the paper works that the company had, making it an easy and tidy system, with ease of access, and data search is not a problem. Besides, Hubshare allows us to upload or download data files seamlessly, and a proper security screen is conducted.

Hubshare, from M-Files

  • The access of information within the cloud is quick, and always updated.

Cons

Huddle

  • The desktop app is occasionally unreliable and it is never easy to get to the bottom of it with the tech support people...
  • Tasks are virtually useless as they have no context. We want tasks to be against documents so we can make our workflow more formal but they are not, so we don't use them. A reimplementation of to do and calendar facilities with files/documents as the context would make a huge difference to us.
  • The Huddle Office plugins are a great idea, but they cause us far too many Word and Excel crashes so we have to turn them off.

Hubshare, from M-Files

  • Initially, Hubshare, from M-Files sounded complex, but after a good orientation, using it is simpler.
  • Hubshare lacks the feature of multi language support, which can maximize clients.
  • Otherwise, all other concepts from Hubshare are aggregate and fully operational.

Alternatives Considered

Huddle

Huddle is quite different from Tibbr. They serve different purposes for the most part. However, they both allow colleagues to improve their communication with one another, minimize email inbox clutter, and improve processes. We use both of these in our organization. Huddle has allowed us to store documents, share communication and generally work in the cloud.

Hubshare, from M-Files

Hubshare, from M-Files integration with our systems, was one of the magnificent procedures I found with the application. Besides, quick data access, where uploading and downloading are effectively done without failure. Safety procedures that Hubshare conducts are way advanced, limiting data loss, and maintaining the secrecy of the clients. Lastly, Hubshare usage is quite simplified, and with the online guide, running the app is seamless.

Return on Investment

Huddle

  • This has made it a lot easier for remote workers to access important documents without needing to use the VPN at home (which does not always work).
  • It clearly shows who updated the last document and when so it is clear who you need to ask if you have questions or something.
  • We have used it in client settings, so this saves money as we do not need to request a separate client laptop or VPN token.

Hubshare, from M-Files

  • Hubshare, from M-Files fosters automation of documentation, which reduces the paperwork and the human capital.
  • The sharing concept also lowers the cost of running a business, as only a few computers connect and access all data files.
  • No data loss, hence, the privacy of the company is well maintained.
