I am satisfied by operation of this software in managing content and ensuring that every published article meets set regulations. Sharing financial records with my colleagues and is secure and very fast. The Application Interface has dropdown menu for faster searching for any content saving time. Creation of reports and representation of data in graphical charts has been simple and more accurate with the help of content-centric applications.

It's a great tool for our legacy system however the implementation, management time and lack of a niche provided by IBM makes it a difficult tool to recommend in a fast-paced market.

          Alternatives Considered

          IBM

          FileNet v ApplicationXtender
          FileNet - much more robust.
ApplicationXtender - far more lightweight, easier to deploy and configure. Much more limited in scope.

          Return on Investment

          IBM

          • A lot of improvement is required to FileNet error descriptions when we encounter with any FileNet errors.
          • For document management, workflow management and content repository. FileNet's capability to manage large number of files is awesome and robust.
          • Automation of business process which we developed for our last client has significantly improved their day to day process.
