Chose Jahia Digital Experience Platform
I would say that the Jahia Digital Experience Platform is definitely easiest when it comes to content management. The ease of use when everything is properly implemented is very high. Other platforms have significantly higher effort to make content from scratch in my opinion. …

Chose Jahia Digital Experience Platform
These are the four we traditionally see still. Jahia ranks high when we have a client not needing the brand awareness of Adobe. Not wanting the .Net of Sitecore, and not wanting the PHP of Acquia.
Chose Jahia Digital Experience Platform
Jahia is cheaper and easier to use. The server footprint necessary for the platform is also less.
Chose Jahia Digital Experience Platform
Jahia compares favorably against products like Acquia and Sitecore. Each has their pros and cons. Jahia tends to outperform the competitors in the areas such as ease of integration, contextual content edit experience, and price. Jahia is also very well suited for Java-centric …

Jahia Solutions
In my experience, Jahia Digital Experience Platform as a CMS platform is excellent when you have a large amount of content that needs to be customized. It is also good for when you have templated content that has minor variations. I would say it is less appropriate when the content has numerous mathematical computations, or a large amount of business logic that comes into play with data processing.

Sitecore
  • Sitecore has a decent supply of out of the box components and capabilities that can be fairly easily styled to meet business needs without much customization needed. This often helps speed to market.
  • Sitecore has had the flexibility of offering on-premise hosting or cloud hosting to meet different needs of clients, though recently they have strongly pushed their cloud-based hosting. This is in alignment with the industry and very helpful for organizations that aren't looking to add another product to the portfolio of packages that their internal IT teams need to manage
  • Sitecore has a capable UI for editing content. Though some competition may do better in this regard, Sitecore's editing interface is fully capable.

Cons
Jahia Solutions
  • It lacks the ability to manage multiple versions of a page or content in general.
  • The back office interface sometimes encounters bugs or display problems.
  • It's difficult to keep pre-production sites up to date in terms of content compared to production, because the time required to import/export sites is very long once the site is rich in content.

Sitecore
  • While the UI is capable, some other products in this space have a much more intuitive editing interface. Sitecore could do better in providing an easy to use editing UI.
  • It would be nice to see a fully managed Sitecore instead of just cloud hosted
  • The price falls more to the premium side of things. Making the value proposition a bit harder to justify

I would not use Jahia as it proved too complex for our needs and didn't help our over goal of customer satisfaction. Along with the man hours to build and execute, it wasn't worth the hassle

[I give it this rating because it] was up most of the time. There are so many scheduled reboots that I don't think it would be a good choice for a 95% SLA.

Support Rating
Jahia Solutions
As I was saying, the support makes sure to be available for any question, or any technical point that we may need to discuss about. Moreover, whenever we have an issue with the platform they get alerted and also send us an email so that we are aware. We had multiple complex topics to work on in the past, but they always have been answering our question
