In my opinion, I believe LambdaTest is very good and well suited for Cross-browser testing, Mobile application testing and Automated testing. But yes, there is always scope of improvement. In my experience, LambdaTest does not currently offer robust security testing features, so when we need to conduct extensive security testing on our applications we need to use other specialized tools

UFT mobile works really well if/when you need physical devices under your management. Managing physical devices in any setup is an interesting undertaking due to the various considerations per device. There are really nice best practices, for example using managed USB switches like the one from Cambrionix, that can help make for a really good experience. For us, we only have 1 application at this time that has frequent updates/releases. We are able to test out these with confidence using our suite of real/on-campus devices managed and made available by the UFT Mobile product.

Cons
LambdaTest, Inc.
  • Sometimes the live apps gets slow so its better that this doesn't happen more often
  • Still room to add more device vendors like, Huawei now doesn't support play services so its better thay we also have some devices which are with Huawei services only

  • Most of our problems are with the lengthy onboarding process with iOS devices.

The tool continues to meet our expectations and has shown that they are continually evolving the product with new features that benefit us. The most recent new feature was the auto-signing/packaging of iOS apps from the server to allow native interaction of features like biometrics. Prior this was a lengthy exercise.

Usability
LambdaTest, Inc.
LambdaTest provides video recording and screenshots of all your tests in their test logs, which makes tracking easier. Test statuses, such as Lambda Error and VM allocation, allowed us to quickly troubleshoot any build that failed while executing. So overall, it's been great to use for our Tester and Developer team.

The customer support team is very active and cooperative. Once, I contacted them in their off timings because of an issue, I got an instant reply from the executive and he resolved the issue very efficiently. This is why we have been using LambdaTest for more than two years. It is best suited for us.

HP Mobile Center stacks well against solutions like Mobile Labs Device Connect, Perfecto Mobile and Device Anywhere. Its native integration with HP ALM and HP UFT makes it a clear choice for team already using those solutions. HP Mobile Center also provides extension to Amazon Device Library.
