- easily getting leads
- the simplicity of the tool
- predetermined criteria so you don't have to check a bunch of things every time

Not well suited for:
- value as it is rather expensive and has a high minimum
- speed, since it is real time the speed is very slow
- accurate look alike customers based on ideal customer profile

Salesforce Audience Studio (formerly Salesforce DMP)

Well suited: The software is particularly well suited if you can draw a map of what would be your clients and their consumption patterns beforehand. If you have a business model which might change drastically with the introduction of a new product or service you may find the transition quite expensive to build in the software.

  • Salesforce Integration is very strong and works really well to get more leads or contacts
  • Simplicity = simply click a button and it searched pre-approved criteria fro more leads.
  • Volume of leads = has a number of different sources it pulls from so data volume is good.

  • Helps with better understanding and what the customer exactly wants
  • Adapts to changes very quickly, helps us proving the best our customers need
  • The look infield is great, it helps to capture data with great precision and the best part is that it is very efficient in segmenting customers

  • Lead quality = the quality is poor and the number of direct lines is low since their partnership with Zoominfo ended.
  • Using Ideal customer profile in identification of potential other customers needs to be more accurate
  • Price is very high and contracts are inflexible
  • Since it is real time looking speed is very slow

Salesforce Audience Studio (formerly Salesforce DMP)

  • Takes several days to create advanced segments (3rd party data), populate them and actually synchronise them with other platforms (in my case, DSP). Makes it very difficult to act with swiftness when market trends demand it.
  • Krux media pixels aren't accepted in GDPR-heavy regions, making them absolutely redundant. Clearly, Salesforce hasn't done a proper outreach in all regions to make publishers white-list their tech.
  • Rather poor match rate with DV360.

You are pretty much organizing your company's CRM all the time, your engineers deserve the best too, keep using the new tools Salesforce has to offer, to keep your engineers in fit and move along with the world. As an engineer I know when something is old enough to keep working with.

ZoomInfo is by far the best quality and highest # of direct phone numbers, Inside View is better for Account info and has great Salesforce integration

Salesforce Audience Studio (formerly Salesforce DMP)

Much more expensive and difficult to change from the initial setup. Needs to be used as a powerful tool and gather as much data as possible from the start as the cost-saving here should not be your driver to get that software in the first place. Others are cheaper and easier to change while in it.

  • I don't have specific figures to share, but with Krux we where able to do external acquisition. Since we have a limited budget, before having Krux we couldn't launch any campaigns as they where too expensive and the CPA was too high. The retargeting businesses were not optimizing the campaigns enough.
  • We are able to identify our clients that are the most at risk and call them to assist them in the use of our product. This will help to reduce our churn rate.
