We knew that Litmus had an integration with Marketo and that they had really good tracking abilities. It is essentially an industry standard and knew that we would ultimately get what we were putting into the tool.
Litmus has a stronger industry wide reputation and is more widely used across larger marketing teams. The overall capabilities, product enhancement and tool set far exceeds the capabilities of our tools I have evaluated before. Litmus is always coming out with new product …
LItmus is the most flexible, has the better approval tracking process. I haven't needed to use another tool in so many years, that I don't even know what the others do.
Litmus is sooooooo much better. EOA may have one or two clients that Litmus does not, but regardless, it's far superior. More stable, easier to navigate, prettier to look at, the list goes on and on. The only downside here is the difference in cost, but if your company is …

Litmus does a great job allowing you to see how your emails look across ESPS. No other company does this as reliably as Litmus. My only gripe with Litmus is that they do not have an option to use a drag n drop builder. This means I now have to use another program to build emails.
Litmus is more of an overall thought leader than Email on Acid. When I worked for an agency we had Email on Acid for several years and nobody used it, not user-friendly. Then we got litmus and multiple teams started using it right away. It is more intuitive and process …
I send the majority of the emails we build out of Marketo and am able to use the Marketo HTML editor to make small changes to the code when needed, but we also use other HTML coding platforms as stand-ins for Litmus if we need to build an entirely new email template. Whoever is …
