Eventleaf vs. Lobbytrack

When preparing for an event, having online registration is vital to planning. The online registration allows participants to learn about the event, determine their schedule and inform the host of their needs. For planning purposes, there are several helpful reports available through the Eventleaf Online app. This is a great tool if your organization will collect registrations for >50.

I think that Lobbytrack would be suited for most organizations that are trying to modernize their visitor management workflow. You would need someone with a technical background to make the most of the Lobbytrack feature-set, but you can get the core functionality of the system up and running fairly quickly. The product might be less desirable for an organization where compliance and security is a critical priority, as features like their SSO integration still needs to mature.

• Easy to use: I was a first time user and signing up was super easy.
• Intuitive: The progam flowed naturally; the order of the tabs and their contents made sense and led me through the process with ease.
• Comprehensive: While I only used the program to register folks for a fundraiser, it has other options which I will totally use down the road.

• Sign in visitors with Name Phone number their identity.
• It notifies the host.
• It can also pre register the visitor and also to immediate registration.
• Control access and photo identity.

• Although the registration component is fully customizable, the website itself could be more customizable. It is pretty restrictive on what you can put where.
• The registration takes a little while to set up depending on how much information you need. It also doesn't allow for repeat fields which makes bringing multiple guests challenging.

• Scheduled reports (instead of run on demand).
• Published API and/or an automated way of loading data to the database (it's not difficult but could be automated).
• Updating layout of printed labels is not very intuitive (but we only have to do it rarely).

The team that presented the live demo were very helpful, answered what might have seemed like dumb questions from me (being new at this) with respect and helpfulness. Lobby track has proved to be cost-efficient and at the same time, this is also multi-tasking where each and every step and user interface is very easy to use. Even the visitors can self-register themselves and need not wait for the other person to do an entry. Plus the biggest advantage that we have observed is the final report which helps us to create a database.

• It has saved us countless hours on the phone with customer care--we spent 10 years with a big-brand event management company which equated to 100s of hours on the phone with customer service. I haven't had to contact customer service yet.
