Emplifi Social Marketing Cloud vs. Majestic SEO

For all general Direct Message management, Emplifi Social Marketing Cloud is great. It keeps conversations organized and allows team members to do all their work in one platform. For public facing social management, there may be some gaps when you are not the top level poster of content, and sometimes gaining context in lengthy exchanges can be easier read on native platforms.

Majestic is a really great tool if your company is spending considerable resources on ongoing SEO efforts. In general, Majestic isn't for beginner SEO users, but a more advanced tool to get into deep SEO tactics. I would recommend this for agencies that have a significant investment in SEO. If you're a small team or a small business looking to improve SEO for yourself or company, there are platforms that offer a variety of tools for new to moderate expertise.

• Publishing - takes a bit of time, but publishing all content together makes planning and execution much more efective
• Community - really simple one board collecting of all our social messages makes replying simple
• dashboards - widgets and customisation allow for multiple dashboards tracking various campaigns and goals

• I like Majestic's own metrics Trust and Citation flow, that are very representative of the real value of the website and it's potential effect on the rankings of the website it's linking to.
• Also, theme (topic) of the website is very useful in the backlink report. This allows to easily identify backlinks relevant to your business.
• The index of number of backlinks that is provided by Majestic is usually a lot bigger than the indexes of their competitors.
• Lost link tracker is very useful for tracking dropped links of your projects (you can verify and track multiple domains). This allows to keep track on how many of your ads and articles stay live and sometimes we contact publishers to tell them that their changes on the website (i.e. updates) caused our article or link to go down.

• We would like to add more public profiles at no cost
• In the approval workflow, it would be great if one person could serve 2 roles such as both Content Creator and Publisher.
• When our Publisher changes the posting date, it has to run through the approval workflow all over again. This is unnecessary as she is merely changing the date.

• Rank tracker is not 100% accurate, but you can create a rough estimate by the report.
• Backlink history is also missing some links, but I found them mostly.
• Sometimes site explorer does not give the actual report, so you should check manually too.

Once you've grown accustomed to the depth and accuracy of Majestic's crawl, it's hard to consider paying for anything else (or settling for free options). SEMRush and MOZ can get you somewhere, but in the right hands, a tool as powerful as Majestic can do a lot for a business's link building strategy.

In common features, using daily, it's pretty easy to understand what to do. But when it's about creating dashboards and analysing metrics, not everything it's easy to understand.

We have a dedicated Customer Success manager, and that is very helpful. Anytime we have questions or need support, they are always there to answer. If thety do not know the solution, they always go around the bend to find one and provide it to us. They are always very kind.

In started when our team started to use this tool, we had trouble understanding many of its features, so its customer support team was our teacher to understand all its complicated features and also how they are used to get better results. Nowadays we are working very efficiently without any help.

The online training was fine but, in the end, the best way to learn any product is by actually using it.

The platform is so easy to understand that no "expensive consulting firm" is necessary to implement it!

Not only have we used other tools, we reviewed a few tools before deciding to move forward with Emplifi Social Marketing Cloud. Cost was definitely a factor, but also account management and responsiveness. The fact TikTok was available for community management was a key consideration at the time we decided to go with Emplifi Social Marketing Cloud as well. Overall, it was the comprehensiveness of the tool vs. competitors that led us to choose Emplifi Social Marketing Cloud. Its AI and unified management capabilities have been great for our needs.

Majestic has features that most of their competitors don't. The backlink index is better than SEMRush in my opinion which also lacks being able to look at links from a range of dates. Their metrics are harder to fool when compared to Moz and I would say that AHREF's is a good competitor but each company keeps their own index of links so its good to use more than one tool

• We are still new to the product, but we anticipate a very positive ROI in regard to our sponsored content and being able to accurately report to clients.
• We also anticipate a very positive ROI internally as we will be much more equipped with data, allowing us to focus resources on content that is performing well.

• ROI is difficult to ascertain in healthcare marketing, mostly due to privacy laws. Although, Majestic has improved our insight into our digital content, giving us data to work with on the primary site, which has led to an overall increase in organic search.
