If you have the time and resources to utilize it, then it's great. It works well for running drip campaigns to nurture new leads online. I also like that it integrates well with many other programs such as BrightTalk.

Zoho Social

Zoho is excellent for businesses of all sizes and industries who are looking to promote their products and services and get accurate data on how well their posts are being received. It is less expensive than Hootsuite and Buffer, with more features even at the free level. Obviously the more social media accounts you use, the better, especially for your promotional needs, and Zoho handles the bigger platforms rather well.

  • Dashboard - command center for all your social media accounts in one place. Great info and statistics at a glance.
  • Interaction - Zoho Social allows you to interact with people directly in real time, on any of the connected networks without having to login to that specific social media site. This saves time and allows you to really get into a good flow of interacting on social.
  • Multiple Brands - if you have multiple businesses, different locations, or manage accounts for clients, Zoho Social provides a really great way to monitor, manage, and interact, all from one login, for all of them. Very nice functionality.

Cons

Marketo ABM

  • If you don't have an email designer on staff and you don't like to do design research on your own, it can be awfully hard to use the design studio. Templates break all the time, and I've lost many, many, many emails from breaking the html template.
  • If you want an out of the box solution, the isn't for you. It would be nice to have an easier way to get sample programs to pull in when you are pressed for time and just want it done.
  • Need a way to test how your emails will look in various email programs without leaving Marketo

  • A Linkin.bio function for Instagram (one reason why I'll probably only use Zoho for FB and Twitter from now on and use another scheduler for Instagram).
  • I have to upload photos in order for photos to show up on the Facebook posts. Otherwise, no photo shows up on my posts. An automated way of pulling photos from the link/webpage would be great.
  • A way to customize individual posts for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, but still be able to write, edit and schedule them in the same window -- all at the same time.

Easy to set up and use--implementation is quick and easy. The social streams are easy to navigate and scheduling allows for better efficiency. Adding team members is easy. Only recommendation, but this exists for other services as well, is to improve the listening features which look for conversations around certain topics in which you aren't tagged--this feature is tricky across many services so I think it's a more complex problem.

I manage quite a few social media accounts, and needed a system where I could manage all of them. I used Hootsuite before, but moved over to Zoho Social as I've adopted many of Zoho's other products. Great service where you can manage your accounts, schedule posts, respond to messages, and extract reports. I highly recommend you try out the free tier as well as one of their trials.

Engagio does many of the same fundamental account matching and account based activity tracking, but usees engagement minutes instead of scores to describe the level of interaction of a specific person and a specific account. We went with Engagio after testing both products as it helped our sales team understand where to spend their time better than Marketo ABM did, and was transparent through Salesforce

Zoho Social

Hootsuite was far too expensive and a bit complicated. We used Buffer for about a year and generally liked it. However, Zoho was less expensive and offered better insights into our brand's overall health. It would be nice if Zoho had Buffer's ability to post to multiple accounts at once while also creating individual content for each social media account (mostly due to Twitter and LinkedIn's word count limits.) Regardless, we're still happy with it.
