Use it for automating the training of your Sales department, organizing of sales pitches, sharing the information with the Marketing team. Would recommend it for a Sales team of 10+ people where majority of business comes from cold emails/calling/DMs/Inmails. Then it is worth investing in a Sales automation tool.

Showpad

Any person who is interested in understanding the level of engagement from a client needs Showpad. It is a must-have software if you have people within your organization that are customer-facing. If your role is primarily communicating with employees within your own organization, then this software might not be as useful to you. For those in sales, account management, or who needs to know if your recipient has seen your emails/content, this is a useful tool.

  • It provides me a good graphical representation of the data and gives me the best information about the sales readiness program, which helps me to understand new processes.
  • This tool has influenced us by providing training sessions too.
  • Through this tool, I am managing my coaching sessions, checklist, and studying how I can better engage my audience.

  • User-Friendly. The ability to easily customize to fit your needs
  • Delivering content easily and quickly, reducing cost for print, and out of date information
  • Reporting. Providing the analytical function to track what content has been utilized or not utilized and become more efficient in the type of information you share
  • Offline Use. The ability to be able to view content offline

MindTickle

  • MindTickle should allow users to bookmark key videos and if this feature is already implemented, it should have a better way of finding how to be able to select this function.
  • Some answers in MindTickle are duplicates. While this is probably an error on the setup team, being able to put the exact same response should not be allowed.

  • Version control is an issue. Would be nice to go back to previous versions of a file.
  • The in-app viewing experience feels a little rigid. Prefer to download the files before viewing.
  • The main landing page is a little more cluttered than I would like.

    I guess it would be great. I have not needed to utilize the customer support team since I have been using the MindTickle platform. I would say that a good thing. But on the flip side, I am just one user. I would imagine people who are actually putting in the content deal with customer support more regularly for any issues on how the product is operating.

    I have not been involved with support from Showpad so I am not entirely sure. However, we have received some emails from our help desk about an outage and it seems like it didn't last very long so I would say that it was pretty effective support to that extent.

    Alternatives Considered

    MindTickle

    When compared to Highspot, I found Mindtickle to be much easier to navigate. The UI is way cleaner and intuitve. The capabilties are relatviely the same. Overall I certaily prefer Mindtickle. The one thing I will give to Highspot is that their analytic capabilities (especially in the library) are more robust.

    The only option our company used was cloud-based file-sharing services (Box, Dropbox, etc) and emails like Outlook or Gmail. Both options make it hard for version control and for ease of navigation. Generally, end-users had an easier time finding content on Showpad.

    Return on Investment

    MindTickle

    • I'm not in a position to know the specifics, but I will guess the three biggest impacts. One positive has been that MindTickle has kept us sales reps up to date and able to talk about all of the products. I'm sure that these trainings have led to better pipeline numbers.
    • MindTickle has had a positive impact on diversity and cultural training as well, as more people are learning and open to learn.

    • We are not limited by what physical catalogs and literature we get - we can send out any piece of literature to a customer.
    • All of our content is centralized in one place.
    • Our marketing department has the ability to view what content is shared the most and viewed the most, so they can focus on those items.
    • Gives our sales reps visibility into what our customers are looking at.
