Data Axle Genie vs. MixRank

If you are looking to enrich your existing database, Data Axel Genie isn't the easiest tool to use. I do like how the contacts are verified, however, you have to pay PER contact if you are enriching, and if you merged existing infrastructures, it's not as easy to clean out your database. And it is very costly for this company.

If your organization is looking to find insights on the mobile app space and you are interested in seeing the technologies that are installed in apps, Mixrank is right for you. They have the ability to target by category, downloads, SDKs. and much more. Mixrank seems to be 100% mobile focused, so if your organization is looking for web analytics, Mixrank wont suffice

• I liked the organization of the database it was easy to maneuver.
• Search was fairly easy to maintain.
• If you want to create a list of leads this will work. However, it is primarily for consumer leads not B2B.

• We have a very specific industry and sometimes drilling down to these leads can be challenging. But with customer service, they have solved this for us.

• The interface is not as user friendly as other platforms.
• Contact information can be off with regards to smaller indie publishers/developers.
• I would like to edit the information that is provided in CSV reports.

Overall it is a decent product, each platform has their own strengths and weaknesses. Mixrank is good at pulling reports, easy to use UI, pretty good coverage in terms of prospecting. Additionally, they are based in SF which is not too far from our office so it makes it easy to contact them and meet with them
