It's handy for smaller to larger units, where time management is most important. But it will not suitable for those who have partial units across the country.

Splashtop Remote Support

Not only does it give you unattended access to all of your computers, but you can schedule actions for just one computer or all of your computers and every combination in between to take place at whatever time day or night you choose. Actions such as Windows updates, reboots, etc. You can transfer files to remote computers without having to open a full remote session. The client and streamers works well on both Windows and Mac.

  • Agents can be silently pushed to all client equipment, which means it is very easy to install.
  • If you don't have the ability to load the app, you can have the client log in via a website, which means multiple ways to connect.
  • The clean interface, easy to use and a breeze to set up, has you up and running in a matter of minutes.

  • The only cons are that it's hard to access other networks besides the internal one of the organization like how TeamViewer works.

Compared to other tools, I have found Splashtop to be a product that I do not have to worry about once it is installed. More often than not, remote support tools are mission-critical in emergencies and unlike others, Splashtop has not let me down in emergencies. It's easy to use, and I can use it from whatever device I have in hand when there is an emergency.

We have never had any issues with support. There is plenty of documentation available online for its usage. I would recommend this as an easy move for anyone. If you do have an issue the support team responds very quickly to anything with great advice and assistance.

NetSupport Manager

I think NSM does not have a rival when you truly use all of its capabilities. It has the flexibility of an application developed for multiplatform support and allows you to remote control any device at your reach. It has a file transfer feature that truly works and a complete system inventory in which you can set up smart alerts, voice, and chat capabilities to connect with the affected user.

Splashtop Remote Support

TeamViewer worked out extremely pricey for the number of computers we have in the business especially with the unattended support aspect. Splashtop allows us to deploy the agent through Group Policy bases on the MSI we configure and use. MS Teams is more of a conferencing utility than remote support it always works better at just screen sharing than remote control as well.
