NICE is well suited to measure the performance and overall fulfillment of individual employees in call centers/employees whose primary KPIs can be measured over phone interactions. It also does a good job of forecasting future potential as well as delineating individual metrics from team metrics. I haven't used it in situations outside of what I previously mentioned, but it seems like it works best with phone-tied metrics since NICE primarily focuses on this industry. That being said, I can see it being able to adapt to measure any type of Performance Metrics.

It is very easy to match the payments done quarterly with the remaining balance and sales reps are understanding very easily what is their due commission needs to be paid. The hardest part is when we're reprocessing all Year to Date data, it takes a very long time and during that time we are not using the tool nor the sales reps
Read full review Pros Love the seamless integration with SAP Business Systems. Different skill settings are great for measuring specific data points for individual employees and teams. Has the ability to calculate otherwise timely measurements such as call length and sales forecasts. Read full review Provides the Sales Team with access to view their commissions and the details behind those numbers. Provides the Management and Leadership team access to view their own results as well as all the details of their team members. Concise and precise calculations that are built into rules which provide more consistent and accurate results as opposed to spreadsheets which have much higher risk of manipulation and error. The ability to pull reports on almost anything you have in Incent. Read full review Cons The UI is a little outdated making it not super user-friendly-especially for employees who only use it every once in a while. Dashboards and data are a little slow compared to other PM systems I've used. Expansion into more CRM integrations would be nice. Read full review Xactly Incent was built with monthly and quarterly periods in mind. A business that uses a weekly or bi-weekly cadence for commissions requires a more customized implementation and will need to use analytics reports to supplement the built-in reporting. Maintaining it can be clunky. There are many places where it feels like it could be more streamlined. For example: *We needed to create copies of all compensation plans for 2022 even when there was no change to the plan configuration. *When working with the hierarchy, there is no way to upload a small set of records to add to an existing version. Either the full hierarchy needs to be re-uploaded, or each record needs to be added manually. Read full review Likelihood to Renew
Our company is totally invested in Xactly with close to 2000 reps being paid out of it. We have 3 instances and there is no other method to calculate commissions. I feel the cost (although I do not know the amount) is also very competitive for the benefits.

The devil is in the detail. It's not intuitive to use, also not for Sales employees. You need to train them. For superusers like me you need a lot of training to administrate the system. It has a lot of functionalities and complexity like staging and upload orders, reset triggers, updating & creating rate tables. A lot of formulars are necessary to learn.

Xactly Incent is always available, they have planned monthly maintenance on Friday nights but are very proactive to communicate it. Monthly maintenance is useful as they address any bugs and also are constantly upgrading the user interface to make it easier to use.

Xactly Incent performs extremely well. I have not experienced it "slowing down" when usage is heavy. This is particularly true when it comes to the regular recalculation of credits and commissions. It is not uncommon for Xactly to be dealing with hundreds of thousands of orders/credits in a pay period, but the system handles it well. Xactly recently changed their calculation engine and the speed for regular refreshes increased significantly.

They take the time to understand the system. They keep us updated on the status of our cases. Finally, their continued follow up ensuring the initial issue was resolved is very nice. They will not close the case out until they have confirmed that our issue has been completely resolved and fixed.

It was great, good explanations and good training material provided, we were able to get a really good idea of how to use the system. I also think that it was enough time to learn how to setup the system.

Xactly offers training on new releases on a monthly basis and training on basic principles regularly via registration. My experience with both is that they do not provide the in-depth knowledge necessary to truly master the system and advanced courses still do not go to the level needed to autonomously manage the system and plans. Professional services are a large part of any cloud based service such as Xactly and I feel a reliance on such paid consulting services is a great money-maker for Xactly.

We have been satisfied with the implementation overall. The person from Xactly professional team was on our site to support the implementation and give us guides and instructions on how to operate the system in our case. it was really helpful moments. We have learned what and how to test Xactly Incent

When it comes to this specific situation (cell centers) NICE definitely has an ADP beat. The analytics, scheduling, and forecasts are extremely well-tailored for this situation. ADP has a more comprehensive solution in my opinion - I feel their UI and mobile app are also more user-friendly. But in terms of performance management functionality, NICE has a more robust system and is able to create additional metrics if we need them When I used ADP there were no custom options available.

I have been working on Incent since one year. I found it to be the greatest tool for calculating commissions. From credits to commissions to sketches, the system has it all, including the ability to conduct reports and statistics. It has a lot of features and customizations that are necessary for creating complex commission plans and calculating commissions. I enjoy its modern and user-friendly interface that makes the product more fascinating. Furthermore, the team's latest updates are excellent and make the product more effective and friendlier

It's very flexible. In most cases it can be adapted to your needs by programming which may cost extra money. We have a lot of different complans and close to 1.000 employees using Xactly in EMEA. It's mainly used by Sales and Finance
Read full review Return on Investment Reduced the amount of time spending on analytics and forecasting methods. Takes less time and hassle transitioning to the Cloud. Outdated look and feel have made the learning curve/time-to-value longer than expected. Saved a ton of time and ensured first time scheduling accuracy. Read full review Our company has been able to redirect a FTE worth of budget on our commissions team to other projects/initiatives that once were occupied by calculating and maintaining the formulas for our comp structures before Xactly. Our ability to analyze comp-related trends within the company went from 0-60 as soon as we got all of our rules and processes built out in Xactly. The amount of time saved from reps no longer sending simple inquiries into our commissions team is hard to quantify, but it’s increased our overall selling time and also reduced the load on the commissions team drastically.
