I think Nielsen is an ideal solution for survey and promotion. I think incentives for customers truly help the ROI on this platform. I feel they could do better with email customization but it's a great starting point. It's clear to see who access and what survey results are available as well.

Salesforce Audience Studio (formerly Salesforce DMP)

It is well suited for data integration capabilities. It has a good interface to showcase business, and is good for segmentation analytics.It is less appropriate where API integration is required; analytical packages are very limited in order to do analytics we can't completely rely on it; and need other tools to do the analytics and also custom analytics can't be deployed on the platform.

Salesforce Audience Studio (formerly Salesforce DMP)

  • It happens sometimes that the Krux console is a bit slow and that some segments are not processed correctly.
  • The conversions are not included in the marketing campaign section. We see the impressions, clicks, CTR, but not the number of conversion of a specific campaign.
  • Have better reporting features. We always export the raw data and process them through Python scripts and combine them in an Excel spreadsheet to visualize the data.

You are pretty much organizing your company's CRM all the time, your engineers deserve the best too, keep using the new tools Salesforce has to offer, to keep your engineers in fit and move along with the world. As an engineer I know when something is old enough to keep working with.

I honestly think the capabilities of AAM surpass NMC from building and syndicating audiences to running overlap analyses. I didn't select NMC myself but I know our team has a lengthy list of complaints against their platforms

We chose Salesforce Audience Studio as it's easy to work on and has a very good looking infield. It gathers very detailed information about the customers. There have multiple options for complex segment building and reporting. It has a tag management solution as part of the DMP package which is very handy.
