It allows for [the] quick creation of forms to collect data/information.If you need to collect lots of data and do analysis it can be difficult as errors will happen and there is not debugger. However, the forms themselves can be very complicated and put together quickly as long as you step through them carefully.

  • Rather high amount of customization when it comes to allowing your own custom fields on each screen.
  • Search/Find function is rather quick and breaks down by categories (person, company, leads, opportunities, etc).
  • Not very resource intensive when it comes to size and memory usage/sql.
  • Easy to visually see all past and current opportunities and their statuses.

Cons

Nintex Process Platform

  • Confusion can occur between site collection and local site workflows, UDAs, and settings. Would be nice to have a clearer indication of where you need to go to make certain types of changes.
  • Licensing configuration for the product and management of its many services can be hard for some owners. Issues sometimes arise simply because one outlier Nintex service decided to stop working and it isn't completely obvious during troubleshooting.
  • Database logging for every workflow action (turned on by default) can quickly fill up limited space an organization may have. Ensure you have the proper infrastructure to handle the load.
  • Limits and confusions in how licensing works can lead to a lot of excess to get what you need. Would be nicer to have the older licensing options returned.

  • In my view, there is no such thing as perfect software, it is always evolving and one area which I think would have been useful is the addition of a Contract Entity. Having said that, when needed it is actually once scoped quite a straight forward addition.
  • More third party integration focus is needed, although there is now email marketing integration with Swiftpage, at long last, MailChimp integration is now going to be available in the next release (SAGE CRM 7.3) and this will open up more opportunities. Continuing on this theme, further integration options are needed still in my view
  • The Look and Feel of SAGE CRM could do with a refresh, although this is coming, this is double edged sword, since the look hasn't changed since 2004, this has meant it is easy to train on (you can do themes) and users don't get confused with upgrades. Like all software, you need to have a contemporary design feel to help users, for example pencil icons used now for edit and gear icons for changes

Chances are that we move to SharePoint Online and then we're going to also consider the microsoft power platform (power automate and power apps) to develop forms and workflows.Aspecially the pricing model for the cloud is currently a blocking factor to go for the Nintex solution in the Cloud.

There are really no other words to say, it is a very easy to use application that is more straightforward and has provided better results with the bulk of features that appeal to a very broad amount of users. There may be other CRM platforms out there that are more prevalent, but I have found them to be much more clunky and less intuitive than Sage CRM.

Based on the on-prem experience with this tool, I believe that they have a lot of potential to help the online version catch up to where the on-prem left off. Nintex developed their online version and it is not as fully formed or capable compared to the on-prem version, and the licensing model scales back what we would have liked to be an expansion or at least continuous improvement of existing flows. It is also not near as user friendly specifically to non-developers and has an uncanny similarity to Microsoft Flow in the online instance. Consistent with my reviews of the tool - I believe they have some good approaches to design thinking that, if translated well from on-prem to online, could make this a clear winner again.

The Nintex Process Platform has never crashed or had any availability issues during my usage. However there was an issue that was of my own making that caused a slowdown of the system. I had set up a process to run once a day and check for employees on a list that had certain parameters selected, and for some reason that I had to troubleshoot, the process instead ran constantly, which filled the cache quickly. I ended up having to dismantle that process so the system didn't crash.

Unlike any other process automation product out there. Not only is it a low-code, easy to use tool for building processes in environments like SharePoint or Salesforce, they have really started to expand their tool-set by offering tools to manage other things like process mapping, RPA, mobile,etc.

Sage works very quickly based on the network you are using it on. It is internet based so if your network is slow, it will perform slowly. Reports seem to run reasonably fast, if there is too much information it is trying to populate that could slow it down a little. When Sage CRM is integrated with a Sage ERP product it doesn't tend to slow down either system at all

The Tier 1 support is horrible. It wasn't always this way. Previously their support was great, but lately when submitting support tickets they get lost, I have to ask for status updates and engage with the VP of support to get results.

Microsoft's SharePoint 2013 workflow has a number of shortcomings that Nintex Workflow just deals with effortlessly. The Nintex tools seem to be built by people who understand how [to] process stuff is done properly, whereas the MS tools are comprehensive but seem to be written by & for programmers. For 365, PowerApps seem to be taking over the world, and not having PowerApps on your CV is a problem.

We are a partner that implements most of the mainstream CRM products in the marketplace and Sage CRM is a great fit because of the low cost to deploy, the ease of setting up and rolling out the technology, and the continued improvements and enhancements through Sage Software to keep pace with the quickly evolving world of CRM. It has been in the marketplace for nearly 20 years and has always been a browser delivered solution. With that level of experience in the CRM market Sage CRM provides very robust functionality at a very reasonable price point, given the pricing of some of today's CRM options.

This product works well as you scale business processes but there is a point where things become too complex. Administratively it scales fine, number of users is no problem, and since Nintex relies on the build in SharePoint workflow manager, it falls under the same scalability perimeters. Business Process complexity is the limiter for scalability within Nintex.

  • With our diverse organization, being able to establish consistency is key and we can do this by creating a standardized form, process, and workflow with automation. So the process is easier and all of our people are doing it the same way. That is a game changer.
  • The licensing is a little hard to follow and can make the product unaffordable.
  • The approach of Nintex hosting the solution makes Nintex design their product for maximum usage. They have to make sure they can have their product embedded in a number of different systems; so, they use industry standard protocols and development.
