Read full review Pros Workspaces are helpful to segment information. Being able to download files directly from Nuclino is useful. Having the ability to link to external docs is useful. Read full review As a cloud based solution, Projectplace is one of the few true multiple location, multi person project management tools available for large teams. The reliability for large projects (with teams of anywhere between 50-200+ people) was a huge selling point for this and I witnessed this first hand. The Windows and Mac applications for Projectplace are well designed and work impressively well for a project management tool. I found most of the teams had either application installed on their machine and did not have any complaints about it. Features like AI and project management viewing styles like Kanban, Ganntt and others make the experience customizable for each user and made them adapt it to their preferred project management style. Read full review Cons No real offline use is possible. For small teams it's ok, but pricing is too high if lots of employees need to work with it. Read full review Under the time tracking, it would be nice to have a set template that would load each week and not have to click a button to load the previous week's template. Somehow making it more intuitive. Having to add in each service line and each detail that I cover for every service line each week is a bit ridiculous. We this investment of time & training, the cost of maintaining Projectplace is relatively low for the benefit. So we will renew, even if there are some idiosyncrasies in the tool & there are opportunities for improvement.
Read full review Usability I love Nuclino's usability. The layout is clean, simple, easy to follow, and bright. I like that there is a read-only account option so that less-tech savvy people can still use it and they won't need to worry about deleting key information from the database. Similarly, I like the features that allow multiple contributors to have the same features to edit.

Read full review Support Rating The Nuclino knowledge base is good. Most answers to your questions can be found there. I didn't need to contact support at all.
Read full review Planview ProjectPlace is quite complex, but it demands better engagement with various stakeholders to initiate a useful work environment. There are credible ways of establishing more live engagement, from direct chats and audio engagements. More so, Planview ProjectPlace is more formal, and this limits some users from outlining their demands or desires in matters of program performance.

Read full review Alternatives Considered Nuclino is the clear winner when it comes to ease of use for both the administrator and user. Less setup time and less "training" time. The streamlined interface is quick and intuitive to learn and is not cluttered as compared to
Confluence . Every tool you need to use to create a page or administer the workspace is available immediately on screen or by right-clicking. In contrast,
Confluence buries many tools in administrative interfaces and only allows use of some features once you make several clicks to include a "macro" or "plug-in". We use both tools and I get complaints constantly from my team about how complicated
Confluence can get just to author a quick page.
Read full review It offers a simpler alternative that's easier to manage by the less tech-savvy people. I also think that Planview Projectplace has managed to keep the product updated compared to other project management tools.
Miro is perhaps the one that comes to mind, but while evaluating, we saw fewer issues with Planview Projectplace. Overall, the decision came down to the project manager, that had previous experience and recommended the product. For me, using a product from a smaller company is better because I know that there will be a focus on improving it, unlike, for example, Microsoft products that can be discontinued at any moment.
Read full review Scalability It is a bit more difficult to fluently use in large scale implementations
Read full review Return on Investment Having a central documentation allowed users to find data more quickly, which resulted in 50% less "question" type bugs that would appear in our queue. Collaborating documentation before development resulted in less bugs; this is part process but the ease of sharing and making related documentation easy to access encouraged users into adapting the process. Increased use in documentation allows support response time to be higher for triage since supporting documentation is ready to go.
