For companies like our who are using legacy EBS platform, transition to Oracle [Cloud] HCM is an imperative. We liked the SaaS model offering for ease of transition and business fitment.
We did not try to replicate everything from the legacy system to the cloud model. As we were fully aware that our process needed improvements first. So we took the opportunity of standardizing our processes across legal entities to have minimum deviations. This helped us configure about 80% of our process easily.
We actively engaged with the product development team to have our business requirements addressed without making irreversible customization requests. Surely this helped the platform head in the right direction and we got what is needed.

Besides rewards management, Workhuman is also useful in managing employee relations. Managers have a written log of thankyou notes, which can be presented as evidence in cases of grievances. The tool has a good list of vendors for employees to choose a variety of gift cards. It is easy to run reports. The interface is not very user friendly and employees need to refer to their training notes to navigate through the system

Onboarding - allows you to interact with your new employees before they are officially working. Allows you to set up access to portal where they can get information prior to starting.
Payroll - Simplifies payroll process, which includes tax updates and IRS reporting. All processing is run in the cloud which makes the calcs faster and reduces payroll processing time
Built on Oracle best practices where the company needs to determine why they cannot use industry best practices so 80% of your processes use industry best practices and 20% need some changes.
Is all configuration based using industry best practices so there isn't any expensive support charges to manage customizations.

Globoforce helped me write kind electronic thank-you notes that came through to their inboxes in great, simple formats
Globoforce was great in showing clear options on what exactly I could use the eGift Card for from doing a great job on certain projects

Cons

Not as pretty as some of the other competitors, but I have heard that up time is higher with Oracle HCM
Account Manager is a bit aggressive in trying to up sell, realistically we only use it for recruiting within the department (I am simply a user, so not insane robust features necessary).

Workhuman is a good rewards management system, but it needs to be synced with other HR systems.
Since employee data is maintained in 2 systems, there is a lag in obtaining real time information.

Taleo does what we need it to do and based on the costs from both a time and money perspective, I don't see us changing anytime soon. If anything I think we will look to leverage the capabilities available that we may not already be using.

After the initial training's, it was quite intuitive to use the application.The application is based upon best practices and the overall flows are quite logical.The train stop approach also ensures that users understand where they are in the process cycle. Also, the number of clicks have been greatly rationalized to ensure that there is more streamlined experience.

The rating is based upon our current level of support. The overall experience has vastly changed since we moved into product paid support.'Also, with Oracle going with the model of quarterly patches, it makes sense to have the product company provide support to the overall application thereby eliminating the problems of bugs.

The company has an in-house customer support team. They can be reached by email or phone. The response time is good and I do not have anything negative to say about them. The good thing is that the hours of operation are 24/7 so one can reach them anytime with questions about reward management.

There is a lot of potential on Fusion. We have reaped about 10% of potential benefits. Especially on Workforce Intelligence, the opportunities are huge. The reason why we do not use the solution at its full potential is not in the product (which is simple and transparent). A roadmap is under construction to bring more of its potential to the end user.

The Workhuman representative was very prompt is replying to emails and suggesting alternatives. We felt there would be less of a learning curve in mirroring our current reward management processes by switching to Workhuman. It was a task to train the workforce, but the videos provided by the company were helpful. We did not need to create new documents on our own

Return on Investment

We were not good at tracking any numbers around recruiting so now this last year we have been able to set the benchmark that we now can work toward improving.
At any given time, we could not say how many open positions we had. Now we are able to keep track of that.
We do a much better job with communicating with candidates now, especially the ones not selected. This will help us maintain a better reputation and attract the candidates back for other jobs they may be a better fit for in the future.
