It is a plus to have these assessments when you are experiencing growth and need to make sure you understand how to communicate with your teams. It is also helps to determine the right candidate to fit with a current team without rocking the boat.

First, make sure that you have your current and future state business requirements mapped out and documented before the engagement and implementation process begins. It is quite painful to attempt to optimize your process on the fly while attempting to configure a system. Second, the sales people will tell you what you want to hear and will find that there is "over promise, under deliver" syndrome once the contract is signed and you are handed over from sales to the implementation consultant. Make sure you all conversations, questions and answers are thoroughly documented throughout the implementation process. There is no SuccessFactors system administration manual because the system is so highly configurable, so be prepared to develop one for yourself. Make sure you get and contact references before purchasing

  • The PI excels in helping people understand the intensity of their natural, instinctual behaviors and, when compared to others' charts, how that intensity may play out differently than they'd hoped.
  • The PI is excellent helping people understand how they are currently feeling about an adaptation and if it is currently causing them frustration or potentially burn-out.

  • The Catalyst function is still growing. Having more on demand training will be the most effective way for me to fully utilize the system.
  • I need training targeted for hiring managers, not just PI Masters.

I don't have any say into whether or not the client will renew the use [of SuccessFactors]. However, they will renew it if they feel that candidates want to apply to the system. Some candidates give up applying to a position because it is too difficult and they get frustrated with the application

The goals module could be a little more straightforward in terms of aligning and linking goals. The employee central is relatively new, so it's been a little buggy and we've had to use workarounds. However, overall I am very satisfied.

If you had asked me before the summer, I would have rated them 10/10 for up time. I am not sure if it was due to the SAP acquisition or not, but we had quite a few significant issues over the summer. Their servers have been bombarded. I know they are setting up new data centers, so some of these issues are supposed to go away. We have had more downtime than I think is acceptable, especially based on past performance.

We had some slow downs in last 6 months because of the server issues. They were experiencing load balancing issues. In previous years we have not had problems. We do batch our appraisals into one time at the end of our fiscal year which is June.

In reference to the implementation of Employee Central, the consultants were less familiar with certain aspects of product as it's new. I would have liked them to have better handle on all aspects of product as there were some things we had to go back and change. They were however helpful and open to discussion all the time. They were very accessible to us.

There are many different personality assessments that are currently available for companies to utilize, but in my opinion, PI provided something that no other assessment tool was able to. It really is an insight into how someone perceives scenarios not only at home but in their worklife. It can tell you more about their drives, initiatives, etc. so that you know how to best approach a situation to come to a win-win. If I had to start from the beginning and pick a new personality assessment tool, it would be PI.

  • With new hiring, it should help make better hiring decisions which will reduce turnover and save costs.
  • Once it is fully implemented, it should help with Communication. It should save money, again, on turnover costs. If people are communicating better, there should be as many misunderstandings which could cause workplace drama and hurt feelings which could (and has) cost people to leave their jobs.
