Likelihood to Recommend Mitel Networks Corporation
MiCollab is great for a large office to get users working from home and being able to use their home phone or cell phone like the desk phone at the office. This allows our live operators the ability to see if the end-user is on an active call before sending a new call to them. If you have a very small company of fewer than 10 people this might not be worth the investment as cell phones would work just as well.
Read full review I would recommend
RingCentral Video if a user or company is currently using
RingCentral Meetings and is concerned with the security implications of using a Zoom-based platform. I would also recommend it if they are using O365 or G Suite presently. I would not recommend
RingCentral Video if they are using MS Exchange on-prem.
RingCentral Video is not as good as
RingCentral Meetings , at present. It's also not as good as other meeting software, such as Cisco Webex.

Mitel MiCollab is great for working remotely. The twinning feature to allow calls directed to my office phone to ring on my cell phone is extremely convenient. The feature that allows you to set which device you want to ring (desk phone, PC, cell phone) is great as even when I am in the office, I prefer to just use my cell phone. The customer support for the product is first-rate. They are always present and helpful when needed. Read full review Audio quality is always good if we have good internet. Sharing the screen is easy and simple for every user. Reliability, as all the conference software we need to make sure it's there whenever we need it. Read full review Cons Mitel Networks Corporation
Easy to use pop-up window alerts you to incoming calls, lets you transfer to VM or other users, helpful for conference calling Has chat feature to tag someone when they are on the phone, or you just don't want to call App for smartphone allows for desk phone to cell phone collaboration Read full review Sometimes, RingCentral Video does not allow users to join a call without the desktop/mobile app. Call recording data is limited to past six months only. It's very easy to use and setup for everyone who is tech savvy or not!
Read full review Ring Central is very easy to navigate and schedule meetings with this. I have tried other video platforms for meetings but they aren't as easy to navigate.

Support is typically handled by a reseller. Buyers should evaluate the reseller as much as they evaluate Mitel for the product suite. The few times when the reseller was not able to handle the issue directly, Mitel did step up and quickly answer/address the question/issue.

MiCollab was great as a VOIP solution and general team collaboration solution, but it lacked in some areas, such as the mobile app, complex configuration and set up as well as the lack of user customization. Overall, the system is serviceable, but seemed rather vanilla compared to its competitors
Read full review RingCentral Video works basically as well as Google,
Skype , and Zoom, however, those apps are more well known and much more industry standards. That is why we prefer them however we do use RingCentral as the backup and for some clients who prefer it for one reason or another. It is firmly on the second tier of options, but it is solid nonetheless.

I'm not a person in a position to really speak to this question as I'm only a user and not involved in purchasing such services. Overall, though, I believe we switched to this to save money and since we seem to be sticking with it, I have to assume that objective has been achieved.
