Considered Both Products
Salesloft
Chose Salesloft
Salesloft works great when combined with Zoominfo and Salesforce. I leverage Zoominfo and eTailsights to find prospects, import into Salesforce, and then to Salesloft for cadences.
Chose Salesloft
So much better. We had sever audio issues with DialSource and it wasn’t as dynamic a product (no cadencing)
Chose Salesloft
I haven't spent time looking into Salesloft competitors. The only one I am really aware of is Outreach. I have friends at different companies that use Outreach and they seem to be pretty satisfied with its functionality and usefulness. I can only speak from my personal …
Chose Salesloft
We've used RingDNA in the past and this blows it out of the water. The technology works better. RingDNA we'd receive at least 20 spam calls a day because of the local presence feature. Never had the issue with SalesLoft. We selected Salesloft because it was really the only …
Chose Salesloft
None that I can comment on... our marketing department may have evaluated some others (I'm sure they probably did), but those details were not shared with me.
Chose Salesloft
SalesLoft is the best in the industry. From the product, integrations, support team, reps, and customer success folks, they are great!
Chose Salesloft
CRM's typically have enablement tools built in, but they are designed to solve macro business problems and this is one of the areas in which they fail. SalesLoft focuses purely on engagement and results from that engagement, which it does fantastically. I would recommend it …
Chose Salesloft
Outreach and Hubspot are the other tools I have used. SalesLoft is very similar to Otreach, but I like the interface in SalesLoft better and the price-point is a bit lower, or was at the time we purchased at least.
Chose Salesloft
SalesLoft is better than both alternatives in both performance and aesthetics.
Chose Salesloft
SalesLoft has a lot of the same features as Outreach. However, I feel like Outreach is a better all-around software. It seems to be easier to use and it has more features. There are a lot of things in Outreach that you can customize, which makes life for a sales rep much …
Chose Salesloft
Well it gave me more structure from pen and paper that i used to use before
also used Microsoft one note
Chose Salesloft
Chantel Herry was a great salesperson. She showed me how she was using the tool as she engaged with us. She was much more responsive to our questions than outreach was. It reminded me that I had to have a quality salesperson and a defined standard for the sales process.

The …
Chose Salesloft
I was not a part of the Salesloft evaluation.
Chose Salesloft
SalesLoft is has a better user interface and overall a better culture that speaks true to a fantastic sales strategy.
Chose Salesloft
Here at Mavenlink, we use Salesforce as a CRM, ZoomInfo as a lead generation tool, and Chorus.ai. We used to use LeadIQ as a lead generation tool, however, we were experiencing difficulties with their data quality. Often times, LeadIQ would generate incorrect information …
Chose Salesloft
Stacks up well against Outreach but only used Outreach for a short period.
Personally Outreach had some features which Salesloft does not, pausing cadences, taking bank holidays into account with cadences, tasks coming due at a specific time not just date, ability to prioritize …
Chose Salesloft
SalesLoft is a more reliable option than Yesware, but they're definitely in the same ballpark.
Chose Salesloft
SalesLoft was easier to use and adopt than competitors.
Chose Salesloft
I haven't used any other products.
Chose Salesloft
MailChimp. SalesLoft is the more complete product.
Chose Salesloft
  • We selected SalesLoft because its user interface and features were way beyond what these other products offered.
  • Cirrus offers notifications if someone engages, but doesn't offer the cadence support or local dial features we rely on.
  • ZoomInfo is great for finding contact info, …
Chose Salesloft
We used Yesware prior to using SalesLoft and in comparison, I wouldn't go back to Yesware. SalesLoft is easier to use and gives us a lot more options. Though SalesLoft has issues with call quality at times, Yesware was much, much worse. We looked into quite a few sales …
ZoomInfo Sales
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
Way better data and industry/company news. It interacts with my other apps nicely so transitioning and updating between Salesforce, Salesloft, and Zoominfo is nice and smooth.
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
We have tried Seamless.ai and while they have some decent data, it's not at the level of ZoomInfo SalesOS in terms of accuracy, completeness and volume.
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
Seamless AI has a superior "workflow" to ZoomInfo SalesOS. Seamless AI seems to have a better interface for seller usage.
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
Evaluating but haven't used. They seem to have better data for a way smaller pricetag though
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
ZoomInfo has more data than LinkedIn Learning and I find that truly awesome because it just shows the deep insights it has on prospects and businesses outside of this professional social platform. Against Lusha, ZoomInfo always reveals key contacts either not found quick enough …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
N/A. Only similar product I've used is eTailinsights. I think Zoominfo is better for B2B prospecting, and eTailinsights for identifying B2C prospects.
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
Zoominfo provides me with the details and information I need to grow my contact list, target accounts that for our solution and speeds up the connection time to sell.

The news, scoops and intent information helps me do a targeted outreach based on the solutions we provide for …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
I personally prefer working with ZoomInfo vs. LinkedIn Sales Navigator because of the ability to bulk export directly to our CRM. With Sales Navigator, I still need to use the ZoomInfo Extension to export those prospects. Additionally, there is more of a diversity of filters …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
I used to use DiscoverOrg, but it was acquired by ZoomInfo. I also looked at a few other options in the past, but none were as good or robust as ZoomInfo.
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
While meeting with other vendors, many of them use Zoom as the golden benchmark which to compare themselves upon. Most of the time they claim they are only marginally worse for their accuracy, but in reality, I have found that this is not true. In the Oil and Gas World, Zoom …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
I've never used the paid version of Hunter, so I can't completely compare the two. But my experience with ZoomInfo has been all-inclusive of our needs and daily processes.
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
Zoom is better at just about everything, the data is very clean and easy to import to our CRM. It allows us to spend time on the right prospects and making contact is way easier when you have cell numbers extensions and emails that are up to date. It's good clean data and tons …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator are both used to find leads and begin outreach. ZoomInfo is a little better for the early on part of the process when you’re just trying to pull your initial list. Sales Navigator is a little better for the second part where you actually start …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
ZoomInfo is primarily used to source contact information for leads that are primarily pulled by sales navigators. ZoomInfo cannot be compared to sales navigator as both platforms provide different offerings that provide the desired solution when used together. What sales …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
I have not searched for alternatives personally. I know my company also uses LeadIQ but I have not used it. I heard it has more accurate information about prospects because it pulls it from LinkedIn which is more up to date.
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
At one point we had both, and we found ZoomInfo data to be more accurate and more complete
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
ZoomInfo is a platform for company information. It is not a static list. This gives the use the benefit of identifying the ideal prospect profile, building a list real time to fit those parameters, and pulling contacts in real time to add to the outreach process. To me, this is …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
I have used Lead Ferret in the past to source leads. Lead Ferret is free, hence the reason I used it at previous workplaces. But it doesn't even come close to ZoomInfo. Although ZoomInfo costs money, it is worth it. ZoomInfo's data is way better than Lead Ferret.
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
Prior to ZoomInfo, we used LeadIQ which was a great product too but to us seemed more limited than ZoomInfo as far as the search functionality and database. We also used list services like Databees and Growlabs which were just basically busy work for our reps as there was so …
Chose ZoomInfo Sales
I have used LeadIQ in the past. I would say confidently that ZoomInfo is much better than LeadIQ. The quality of data is much better. With LeadIQ, I was not confident I was calling the right number or messaging the right email. With ZoomInfo, that is not the case. I was not a …

Organizations with budget and proper support resources will be able to best leverage the benefits of SalesLoft. Earlier stage organizations with bootstrap budgets would still benefit from SalesLoft, albeit, I personally feel that without the proper RevOp's resources, that SalesLoft potentially loses a bit compared to Outreach.io

Pros
SalesLoft
  • The use of cadences allows my team to quickly process calls that have been prequalified by our filters in Salesforce
  • The live call coaching with "drop in" capability has been useful for quality checking the calls, while allowing us to steer a call in a particular direction if necessary

ZoomInfo
  • Zoominfo provides us scoops regarding any new upcoming project or pain points (difficulties) facing by certain companies which helps a lot in our business to contact such companies.
  • Zoominfo gives us the exaction info such as email address, Direct or Cell phone number of particular contact which we want and we don't get anywhere except zoominfo
  • Zoominfo has huge database. Intent is one of the favorite section where we get the exact info about the companies/industries which we want
  • Zoominfo Connects with Hubspot which is another benefit for us to add any specific contact directly to our HubSpot app.

Cons
SalesLoft
  • Calendaring -- specifically ensuring credit is properly aligned when trying to calendar for sellers as a BDR -- even when using a booking/ calendar availability link (a seller's link -- this is the trouble spot from what I recall and why we can't use some of the helpful link scheduling tools in our org).
  • Would love to set up some report automation on the management side -- where specific things could be sent to me (e.g., I would love to set up a report that would auto-populate to show how many dials were completed during a power-hour/blitz period that would hit my alerts in the UI or be sent to email/Slack automatically).
  • A manager-specific view/home screen would be nice but not essential.

  • For initial users, the system can be a little overwhelming. A ZoomInfor SalesOS Basics guide could be beneficial to keep new users from feeling lost amongst all the options.
  • Clearer instructions on how to set targeted search parameters for inbound information would be beneficial.

With the combined resources of crowdsorced info on both data.com as well as the immediacy of info on LinkedIn, as well as intel on Hoovers, information provided on ZoomInfo is more readily available if you have the time to invest in looking for it. However, at the pace we do business, having a "one stop shop" for information is very convenient. On efficiency alone, ZoomInfo is worth the price of subscription considering our business model.

We switched from InsideSales Playbooks to SalesLoft. Salesloft is much easier to use and more intuitive. We had previously used Inside SalesPlaybooks before they changed their name just so we had the powerdialer plug in in Salesforce then tried implementing PlayBooks and it was a bit cumbersome and not intuitive. We evaluated a few others but SalesLoft was the best choice!

The size of data base, the bounce rate and accuracy. The extra features that you can have and the customer service. Whenever I have a question or help with something, my account manager is always available to help. And most importantly, the difference was the price. Although Zoominfo is not cheapest, it is the best value for your money.

  • Our sales activities are very predictable and we know how much effort to focus on certain leads.
  • SalesLoft also gives us supporting metrics for individual productivity - we use activity metrics to supplement attainment metrics.
  • Our SDRs have a much wider reach and can process more leads which saves them time and keeps them targeted on the best leads.

  • Negative - In my experience, exports error but credits deduct. Trying to get these credits back, good luck getting a customer service rep to assist.
  • Negative - In my experience, information provided for 0-5 employee companies inaccurate
  • Negative - In my opinion, due to not being able to get the information and not honoring their guarantee, no revenue goals were met.
  • Negative - I feel, for this size prospect, there is no time savings. You will still need to manually research the company on other sites or by cold calling to get the missing information.
