I would recommend Tenfold to any company with CRM or account management software. Being able to manage future appointments and to document it all in one step will increase efficiency.

If you have a mission-critical and "must be on at all times" kind of a need, I wouldn't advise you go with Five9. It's woes are bearable (mostly) for a small company like ours. But I can't imagine supporting hundreds of agents and getting the torrents of requests

Pros

  • Integrates very well with Salesforce, our CRM software. As we disposition calls, the notes automatically generate on my customer's accounts, saving me valuable steps in documentation.
  • Call metrics gathered in Tenfold are used for measuring productivity across all of the sales team. Reporting is done through Salesforce, once again speaking volumes of the integration capabilities.
  • The clarity and consistency of quality of calls are outstanding! Very little delay, static or feedback.

  • Reporting: Five9 has all the information you will need to make the right judgement calls for your call center.
  • Pricing: Reasonable pricing that allows you to get a good service for a price that won't break the bank.
  • The ability to log into various Five9 access points is helpful - Admin, Reports, Agent, Supervisor, etc.

  • The pop-up window often has a glitch
  • Rebooting it to show the correct amount of time on a call
  • Self resolution tips to getting solutions without having to reach out to support teams

  • Account managers provide strong relationship building, but their direct customer support is overly reliant on phone technology to communicate. Often challenging to contact them through other preferred channels, e.g. email.
  • Most products are reliant on Javascript, which adds a challenge to get everyone on our CS team equipped and updated with the latest version. That requires discipline on our part that we would prefer to automate.

Alternatives Considered

I haven't used any other programs outside of Tenfold and to be quite honest - why would I go somewhere else. The service that Tenfold has offered has been flawless

Five9 met our main requirement of integrating with Zendesk. We evaluated other products that provided more robust options as far as IVR set up and voice data analytics, both for QA and for driving insights through voice recording analysis. That's interesting, but not essential to us. Five9 stacked up as the most cost-effective way to improve on our current voice offering without bringing on a best-in-class product.
