In scenarios with dynamic outbound workloads of 40-250+ calls per days and a variety of sales stages and follow-up schedules, tenfold seems quite well suited. The only scenarios without much value within tenfold would be in non-CRM applications, or with low call volumes or more internal coordination outside of sales environments.

Great for outbound efforts as well as for reaching out to existing clients to remain top of mind.Because OutReach pulls info from Salesforce, sometimes it becomes difficult to address messages to specific people.

Pros

  • Logs notes for each individual call
  • Is very easy to get acquainted with and easy to use
  • Works with our other systems very well to help keep everything organized without having to go from system to system to get information on calls
  • Lets you know who is calling so that you can prepare for the conversation you are about to have before you answer the phone

  • Outreach integrates well with Domo, which allows us to put together comprehensive reports pulling data from both Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Outreach does a great job of supporting you, by offering a responsive CSM and support team to troubleshoot issues.
  • It doesn't take too much time to onboard new users in the basic functionality of the tool.

  • Not popping up when I am clicking around on a website
  • Sometimes but not often it doesn't log my call the first time I save it
  • Staying on one contact when another call comes in but I am working on notes for another customer

  • Calendar Feature - could be simplified a bit, and an added ability to sync calendars without the other person having access to a license would be tremendously helpful for setting meetings with multiple stakeholders from internal side
  • Speed - freezes pretty regularly when going through tasks, and always cause the rest of the computer to slow down a bit

I feel like I got a hold of Outreach pretty quick. Any questions I have/had, I'd send it to the help dept. and they were ALWAYS great at helping me out and following up to make sure I was still on track or needed more help. If need be, they would screen share with me to ensure that I was understanding correctly. Their small videos in the emails help out a lot too. They seem to realize that some people are readers and some are visual learners.

I have yet to have a negative experience with support. They are friendly, act like human beings, are smart, well trained, know where to find the answers, and are overall the most pleasing support team I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Alternatives Considered

I haven't ever used another product like Tenfold so I wouldn't know what to say other than Tenfold is great! It is easy to use, it always works, and I typically never have any problems with the system not doing what I want it to do for me. It's a great product!

I chose Outreach simply because it just works. ZenProspect was a hassle and didn't have throttling (and was full of bugs), and Beamery was just a bit too basic for what we were looking for. Outreach has all the automated features we were looking for to make outbound sales as easy as possible!

  • The ROI on Outreach is through the roof. It's a sales tool. If spending ~$100/month/rep isn't resulting in AT LEAST $100 in sales, there is something seriously wrong with how you're using Outreach or what you're selling.
  • The main reason I always come back to Outreach is because of its efficiency. They have thought of everything. I just set my universal settings, drop someone in a sequence, and I KNOW the sequence will continue and do what I want it to do. Being able to dump in 1000 prospects and say "throttle 100 new prospects a day" + "Resume OOO replies after 5 days" = never having to check Outreach to monitor it. So much better than alternatives.
  • Their customer service is fast, and they work hard to get you the right answers. While sometimes they can just be confused or lost as to how to help, I do appreciate that I always get a fast response same day.
