For Vodafone, the major advantage is to use customized push notifications for different user groups, and this enables us to use segment and use target based notifications for a given sample of users. We believe we have not fully explored or used the potential of Airship for other use cases yet

It is more robust in areas that we don't need it to be and overall there could be simpler flows for sending push notifications or performing actions that you need to do every week. Also, the data it sends back on how push notifications perform is basically useless. There needs to be more explanation on the impact notifications have on users. The data would always say that notifications drove less engagement but we would see engagement go up every time we sent a notification.

Simple setup of push messages + automations Most important push + reporting features available Friendly and individual customer support Regular launch + optimization of features High customer engagement over Airship Read full review Great web interface which provides a couple of levels of pivoting and filtering of data Straight-forward integration for simpler use cases Access to raw data through S3 for use in your own data pipeline Read full review Cons Airship (formerly Urban Airship)
Make it easier to manager an account with multiple apps Data in PA tool often loads very slowly Streamline journey steps Read full review The biggest thing I would like to see with Localytics is the capability for more correlations. The limited amount of correlations available does restrict the type of analyses that could be done with the data. An easier interface to move data into Microsoft Excel would be very useful, rather than creating annoying workarounds. More/better automatically scheduled reporting, as well as an Excel plug-in to access the data rather than being restricted to the Localytics interface. There is a lot of competition. I would renew if there isn't anything more exceptional that would justify the re-coding and implementation load costs

The interface takes a bit getting used to in order to know how to take advantage of everything. Some of the analytics that are available are particularly hard to find, so it's important to pay attention when customer support reviews everything, but everything I'd want and need in terms of Push and In-App messaging is all there.

I have not had to interact much with customer support as I have been able to find the vast majority of the answers I'm looking for within their documentation, which I very much appreciate because it saves me a lot of time. Customer support has been responsive and helpful for the most part during the couple of interactions I've had.

Airship is superb in customer support against all others. Even though I feel
CleverTap may be a better choice but probably will not be as easy as Airship when setting them up and operating it. As for
MoEngage , the last experience I had was simply not good enough, but that was more than two years ago in my region.

It's had a positive impact on engagement. It helps lend credibility to our product given that major sites like CNN, AP, ESPN, etc. have push notifications. I have not come across any negative impacts.
