We use 6sense to gain insight on which accounts to target, gauge their interests, and find suggested prospects.

Cons
  • Understanding intuitively what "key words" refers to and how that data is gathered
Members of my team who sell to Corporate businesses have more success with 6sense compared to other verticals.

We use 6sense to guide our SDR's list building. It helps them prioritize which accounts they should be focusing on. We also look at the key words that 6sense flags a prospect is researching and make sure to mention that specifically in emails and over the phone so that our platform resonates most with them.
  • Giving a lot of detail
  • Identifying companies that are hot
  • Flagging specific prospects to engage with
Cons
  • More specific contact data instead of just location
  • Missing functionality - a AI generated multi step sequence for an SDR to send out based on keywords they're researching
  • Platform is difficult to use at first
Well suited for sales teams with a big BOB who need help prioritizing
Not a fit for upsell/cross sell teams whose goal is to find deals within current clients, as the data could be skewed

6sense is used for lead milling. With the daily notices I receive in my emails, I look up POC with that company.
  • Sending daily emails with company information.
  • Giving Key Words of interest by company.
  • Integrating well with current program.
Cons
  • Ease of use.
  • Easier to navigate through.
  • Better training.
When it comes to lead milling companies 6sense is great. It is just complicated trying to navigate. I think follow-up training would be great. There is so much to take in at the beginning, it seems to me that a month later I am so full of questions on navigation.

Cons
  • Pushes certain accounts to the wrong people.
Seems to highlight a lot of companies that we are already reaching out too.

  • Identifying accounts with intent
  • Understanding themes of account clusters
  • knowing when and how to connect with those accounts
Cons
  • Minor UX features - ex when you edit a segment having to re-save and it takes you back to segments features
  • Quicker turn around time for refreshing key words
Focusing in on accounts that you can move the needle with, instead of casting a wide net. 6Sense allows you to hone in on account clusters and hit them with the right message at the right time
