Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

8x8 X Series has been excellent when used to replace old on-premises systems or migrating from other VOIP services. Integration with software such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Dynamics is very useful.

Our customers are pleased with the peformance, reliability and scalability of the 8x8 X Series solution.

Great when sitting at your desk in front of your computer. No more clunky phones taking up space or leads to tangle :)
Not so quick to answer when you walk away from your desk.

I can't think of any function that doesn't suit our organization. The ability to work from anywhere and still answer phone calls coming in is great. Being able to message colleagues, use the fax function when working anywhere, and transfer when on the mobile app just like I would in the office is great. Overall, I think this product is well worth the cost. The design helps us be as efficient as possible with minimal effort.

The best scenario we have used 8x8 for has been for a rural client who was using a mobile phone with patchy signal to make calls to their customers.
We implemented VOIP for them at their site and they can now make calls reliabily and they are incredibly happy with the result.

Overall 8x8 is a good product. It does seem to do frequent updates. We are very happy with our service representative; however, calling the main customer service line has been problematic. We do go through cycles of missing calls and clients not being able to hear us and then have to uninstall the application and reinstall it to work.

8x8 has proven to have excellent quality and service. When we briefly explored a different company for our phone system, the service levels left much to be desired. We would go a week or more without hearing from our account manager on issues we were having, they would schedule calls and then not make them. 8x8 has been the exact opposite, they are on top of things when we need them, we no longer have dropped calls or complaints about call quality, and the system is so easy to transfer calls and direct them where they need to go.

I think it works well for companies like ours (it was recommended by another company) if the company has a good internet system. Many of the calls we receive are dropped and voicemails are intelligible.

The premise is good, and it is nice to be able to turn on and off the app so you are not bothered at home.

8x8 is well suited for small offices that require a hipaa compliant communications solution within a unified communications platform. Features are easy to setup and maintain. Because of their worldwide presence, sometimes support personnel are hard to understand; however, for the most part nothing every breaks and support is just needed if you can’t figure out how to do something using one of the helpful articles on the website.
This company is also very well suited for the large enterprise. The features they offer can do everything Imaginable, but they are not inexpensive. The quality and features are excellent and well worth the cost. If you’re looking for cheap and minimal quality- this is not the solution.

8x8 is and will continue to be our choice when it comes to our phone providers. So when it comes to our colleagues, it isn't really an option. They must and will use 8x8 because it is core to our business.

It is excellent for Auto Attendant when getting our calls directed to the correct department. Ring groups are an absolute most have and makes it very convenient to set up based on departments, it's also very easy to add employees already in the system to add to the ring groups. You just find their name and hit save, it's that easy. It's just as easy to remove someone from ring groups or the entire system should they leave the company. Setting up a new account for someone is very easy and straight to the point with no confusing terms and the auto email for the employee to set up their own password is very easy too. I haven't found a negative scenario with 8x8 yet, the only small thing is sometimes you have to search around to find a certain thing if you don't do it daily (finding the billing for example), but still its not that hard once you click around a few times.

It was well suited when I was in need of updating a user's account. Was having difficulties setting it up but when I was in contact with Customer Support, a lot of the issues went away. I believe not appropriate when trying hours to setup a voicemail without it working the first time.

I have never felt that 8x8 X Series was inadequate for my firm's needs. I don't know how well it would work in a huge firm setting as I'm just a solo practitioner, but it may be complicated for many users, but I can't say that confidently.

-Midsize - large company where maybe IT knowledge is not easily reached. System is mostly set it and forget it, does not require upkeep
-Many geographically far locations that often need to transfer a call to each other

We made the change to 8x8 X Series vs using traditional phones. For us the savings vs a traditional phone makes this a great option. It's easy to set up conference calls and integrates well with your work calendars. You can change your greetings too very easily to suit your needs as the time. It takes some time on the front end to get ready for the change, but for us it's well worth it in the end.
