Absorb LMS

It was very difficult to create content in LearnWorlds. It was not intuitive and it was hard to make it look the way I wanted it to. Support was slow and actually not helpful. Instead of meeting live to help through an issue, they would send emails back and forth or send a screencast walking me through how to fix my issue. Even though my support tickets always explained what I had already done to fix the issue, their emails back to me (the next day) would reiterate that I should try the steps that I already said I tried. This was beyond frustrating. Absorb support is live and fast.

Absorb LMS was a lot more intuitive and user friendly, it also provided a much better user experience. The analtyics were a vast improvement as well.

Absorb LMS rocks this! So much more intuitive in content creation and report management.

Our organization previously used LMS365, which did not support eCommerce and had difficulties supporting external users. (My understanding is the issues with external users may have been directly related to our Microsoft implementation and not directly LMS365's fault, but it was nonetheless a deal breaker for us.)
Docebo was the runner up in our LMS selection process and I spent significant time chatting with the team at Docebo. It seemed like a strong competitor to Aborb. Ultimately, Absorb was both slightly more cost-efficient for our scenario.

We felt Absorb LMS best fit our needs.

Absorb LMS has way more customization, better customer service, and a much more user-friendly look and feel. Sadly, Absorb LMS does not allow you to take notes on the platform, which is a huge miss. However, everything else is far superior to Thought Industries. Absorb LMS is constantly improving the platform as well.

During our evaluation and research we really like LearnUpon and Lessonly but Absorb LMS came out on top with the ease of use and familiarity to our team and cost!

I think Absorb LMS is, by far, the most clean and visually appealing platform, while being easy to use and still providing powerful functionality.

We found the user interface to be easy to use and customizable. We also liked the support that was offered during the implementation process.

The main reasons why we chose Absorb LMS was:
1) Best overall features for the cost
2) Easy integration with our HRIS, (ADP WFN)
3) Platform has the ability to add Skill Assessment levels
4) Professional look with easy interface for users

Absorb reporting is easier to use. The impersonate feature really helps as well.

We just signed Go1 and we are very happy with the variety of courses! We hope to improve engagement even more!

We vetted several web-based systems, but I don't recall all of the names.

Absorb LMS did the best job at meeting our overall list of requirements for a LMS. It was also the top contender when it came to a customer service plan and how the support worked. Absorb was a more affordable option that many of the other apps we evaluated.

I used Moodle in University but it was only the learner side so I am not sure how it would stack up to the Admin side.

Absorb is much easier to navigate! I was not a part of the selection process of Absorb for our company, so cannot provide feedback on that piece of the question.

We were very disappointed with D2L and Workday's ability to customize what or how content is shown to users. The platforms can be robust but the onboarding time for new administrators is much longer than Absorb. Workday's current offering (2023) for external learners is unacceptable for our use case and much more manual then Absorb's solutions. Workday does not have the ability to create engaging content or notifications to the user and the UI is pulled directly from the HCM with very little flexibility between the modules on look, feel or layout.

While Thinkific was good for external users and monetization, it also lacked flexibility for multiple different demographics. EdApp while having a good mobile presence and quick turnaround for course creation, it's offerings for other engagement factors fell short of Absorb.

Moodle can be a great LMS, but all of the features require you to plan and (potentially)code your requirements into the platform. This required time that we didn't have and to administrate the platform required additional personnel and resources for any changes we wanted to have after go live. We didn't have the time nor other organization resources available when launching so it couldn't be considered.

Different scenario as I used LinkedIn Learning primarily for personal career growth. Not for the same use case as MLS

It is hard to compare because LinkedIn Learning is not a traditional LMS. My organization needed a traditional LMS to help with creating content as well as needing a comprehensive reporting tool

Absorb LMS in far superior to any other LMS platform I have used - in capability/functionality, user-friendliness, and customer service.

This is my first experience with an LMS.

Mainly, the decision was based on our HR system - we needed a connector with ADP.
Guest service is also an important aspect, and we did get great service, straight from te beginning!
The fact that Absorb is a Canadian Company was too, a bonus!
