It's being used across many organizations we handle. It can secure entire systems, cloud, virtual and mobile platforms. It can also do a bare-metal restore should a major crash happen. It also allows you to restore from the cloud in case a major crash happens where your hardware is physically damaged locally.,Secures any platform. Works seamlessly with Acronis apps. Off-site storage.,Expensive. It can be complicated. You need to have Acronis backup for the cloud part to function.,8,Helped us work with clients to prepare disaster recovery. Increased monthly profits. Some clients have not gone with the program due to price.,Datto, Infrascale Platform, ShadowProtect SPX and Continuum Recover,7,Microsoft Office 365, ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)Great functionality and features at a reduced costIt has cut our backup infrastructure costs by half and is more reliable than before.,Disaster recovery with offsite backups Management of backup with great reporting ease of use and deployment, support needs to be better API integration better re-seller program with higher margins,8,Acronis met our business objectives by simplifying our backup infrastructure Reduced costs of our off site backup infrastructure Reduced staff dedicated to monitoring off site backups,,9,AWS Backup, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 BusinessStress free backups for your teamThis is the backup software I am using for my computer. A while ago I had a hardware failure on my PC cause the loss of important data. So we decided to set it up to make back ups automatically to avoid that scenario again. And I have to say Acronis has been great for that. My team set this up on my PC for me and since then it's been running and making backups without needing any additional tinkering from me. The other great thing is that it makes backups to the cloud which means I don't need to connect a USB/etc device to it. Just knowing that my files, data, and pictures would be safe no matter what happens makes this well worth the investment.,It was really simple to set up and it is really very configurable so we were able to make it work the way we wanted it to. Works without any real hassles. I have used it for over a year and I think I have had it crash on me probably 2 or 3 times. Very reliable. Cloud backups mean I don't have to worry about hard drive failures. You can restore files from anywhere.,Their support is a little slow. We haven't had to contact them a lot since it has worked great for me but it did take them a while to get our issues resolved.,10,It has protected us against data loss (both due to equipment failure and accidental). Offsite data backups mean we don't have to worry about our equipment. Since everything is stored at their end. Its pricing and feature set is pretty good when you compare it to some of its competitors.,Solarwinds Backup,7,DiscoverOrg, Trello, Evernote, SlackAcronis Backup Cloud - small to medium business contender among a sea of optionsAcronis is a solid software backup tool that is very flexible for small to medium businesses. It provides compatibility with numerous on premises as well as cloud-based infrastructures. It boasts the ability to back up database software applications including Exchange and SQL as well. There are not too many players backing up Office 365 Hosted Exchange, but it also assists with this.,Full image and bare-metal recovery backups for any physical or virtual server. Physical to virtual and other tools built-in to make conversions / recoveries easier and more efficient. Ability to spin up servers on the fly from recovery media. Options to backup on premise as well as offsite to Acronis cloud.,No option for on premises hardware BDR. This means recovery restorations rely on self-supplied hardware performance. License per machine can get costly if large number of computers or servers.,8,Easy to configure and install as well as setup. Restorations can be very quick if self provided hardware is powerful. Can require switching products if company has large growth as more endpoints require large cost investment.,Carbonite, Barracuda Backup, ShadowProtect SPX, Veeam Backup & Replication and Veritas Backup ExecAcronis Backup Cloud - the best bang for your buck for backupDMI Networking is a managed service provider for dentists, with a national presence. We use Acronis Backup Cloud to back up servers and assorted devices, and we absolutely love it. When we switched from eFolder, we saved over $1500 per month in our backup, and we received more features than we were getting before. Acronis Backup Cloud lets us virtualize a server from the backup media, which brings up dental practices in less than 15 minutes, as opposed to the many hours needed to do a complete restore. I was the person who chose Acronis Backup Cloud and negotiated the contract with them. I also provide the backup solution to clients and am one of two people here who implement it for them.,Quick Virtualization. Acronis can virtualize most systems and get you back up in 15-30 minutes. Encryption of Backups. You own the encryption key, and Acronis doesn't - so not even Acronis employees can get into your cloud data. Encryption meets all HIPAA requirements for data protection. Easy to resell. You can create accounts for individuals outside of the company to allow them access to their backup console. It's very easy to set up, and clients are happy with how easy it is to use.,The website is pretty slow and will kick you off sometimes. I know they are working on this. For now, this is the biggest problem we have with Acronis. Their support team isn't great. It can take a while to get an issue resolved, although issues do not happen frequently.,10,ROI has been huge. The cost is incredibly cheap, and we saved $1500/month by switching. With a heavy impact on profits, we're able to bundle this backup plan into our basic server management plans with no additional cost, which raises the value of our offerings significantly.,eFolder Backup, Carbonite and Mozy Pro,Autotask, SolarWinds N-central, LogMeIn Central,6,6,Disaster Recovery - if a server goes down, you can virtualize from your backup media and be up in about 30 minutes. Cloud backup with long retention - if you save over a file or an employee accidentally deletes one, you have 6 months to get your old version back. The encryption on the backup complies with HIPAA and NIST requirements for security, so this product is great for the medical or financial industries.,With the program, you can add scripts to the backup job to run before backup and after backup, so through the software itself we can stop the SQL database prior to backup, and restart it once it's done. It was helpful to be able to back up a Mac over the network from a Windows Server onto a NAS.,We will eventually look at the file sharing / dropbox style service that ABC provides. We will continue to use new features as they come out. Acronis offers an online recovery console to access items quickly and easily. The ability to backup and restore Office 365 mailboxes. Creating backup plans and schedules is simple. Email alerts notifying administrators on backup failures. The backup deduplication and compression features is one of industries best.,The fact Acronis is an OS client base backup, which leads to more backup failures. Although most issues can be corrected with restarting services. Recovering backups from the cloud(internet) is a lot slower then acessing local backups. The backup error reports are not detailed enough to help administrators fix issues.,8,It's been a great investment especially knowing our data is protected.
