We use most patch management and software deployment in our organization. We don't need to manually check each device whether it’s updated or not, and now we just login the Action1’s dashboard to check the device list and only spend time on the machine that has not yet updated. Simultaneously, we could perform patch and software installation on many devices in a short time.
  • Provide a friendly and easy-to-use interface to manage all my endpoints
  • Provide automated patch management that can be placed on a schedule. Patch approval is easy and intuitive
  • Scan for available software updates and readily report critical updates
  • Uploading and installing software via the Action1 console is very easy to use
  • The app deployment works very well and fast
Cons
  • I wish the remote connection has a file transfer feature.
  • I hope Action1 will implement DLP and Secure Web Gateway features in the future.
Action1 provides an easy-to-use interface and automates the patching of Windows updates, third-party software, and driver, ensuring continuous patch compliance and security vulnerabilities. Besides, the Remote desktop is very helpful. It allows us the ability to help our colleagues remotely. I don’t need to install the remote application because it is web-based.
  • Patch management
  • Software deployment
  • Help ICT save time
  • Full control over endpoints

Action1 has helped us secure our Remote Workforce.

As many school districts around the country have moved to a remote learning model we were in need of a platform that would allow us to manage our endpoints more effectively during this difficult time. Making the move to Action1 has been a game-changer for us due to the platform's flexibility.

We were in need of a platform that would allow us to install, update, and manage software and software updates remotely. Action1 has provided us with a way to update software that may have critical vulnerabilities in a timely manner. The platform also allows us to pull inventory information on endpoints. We can set various alerts to be sent via email and schedule reports. Managing Windows updates is simple and intuitive.

We were able to push out the Action1 Agent Utilizing the Action1 endpoint discovery agent in a matter of minutes and I cannot say a bad thing about the platform.
  • Remote Access allows us the ability to help our staff remotely.
  • Uploading and installing software via the Action1 console is very easy to use.
  • You will have greater visibility of your endpoints using the Action1 IT Asset Management piece.
Cons
  • I would like to see more Pre packaged apps in the Action1 App Store.
  • I would like to see a list of IT friendly powershell scripts to allow for easy maintenance. (Delete users, Clean Temporary files... )
If you need a solution to help you remotely manage your endpoints this is a no-brainer. I highly recommend signing up for the trial and pushing the agent out to a few endpoints to test.
  • ROI = Time saved for us.
  • The Action1 agent has allowed us to maintain the security of our endpoints by allowing us to update all software on our fleet of devices.
Price for one. The cost is extremely reasonable IMO. Action1 is easier to use for a non-technical person and there is zero maintenance since it is cloud hosted.

Great solution for small organization

Rating: 10 out of 10

We are providing IT services to small organizations and were looking at a solution to manage our clients endpoints in a more central way and provide us the ability to monitor software patching as well and deploy apps easily across multiple systems remotely. We came across Action1 [Cloud Remote Monitoring and Management Solution] while looking at others solutions and it looked like it had all of the features we were looking for, while still being easy to use for our technicians. We started rolling it out at one of our client to test and were really happy so far with the results. We had a couple issues at the beginning, but Action1 [Remote Monitoring and Management Solution] support team did an incredible job at fixing it quickly and keeping us updated on the progress and everything was resolved and now working as intended.
  • Customer service and support team are easy to reach and response time is really fast
  • Interface is really user friendly and easy to use
Cons
  • No iPhone or iPad app (at least as of now) could be nice to have eventually
[Action1 Cloud Remote Monitoring and Management Solution is a] really great tool for organizations looking at a solution that doesn't rely on on-premise infrastructure to manage multiple sites or work-from-home devices. As long as the endpoints are connected to the internet they will show as online in the system.
  • Real time saver having everything integrated in one platform, from patching to remote access
  • Free up to 50 devices, which is really good to start testing it out, or for small organizations starting out
After looking at different solutions, Action1 [Cloud Remote Monitoring and Management Solution] was the perfect fit for us that delivered all of the features we wanted without being as costly as some of the others alternatives we've looked at. There was no minimum endpoint count and they even offer up to 50 endpoints for free, which is really great for a small organization like us to help us lower our starting costs and still allows us to grow at our pace without having to commit to a defined amount of endpoints to start.
