During the Covid period and thereafter, it was difficult to show if employee's were engaged during our business hours or if they were working on the tasks needed. The ActivTrak tool has helped us identify when and what tasks were being worked on and ensure it was closely aligned to the goals.

We've had this application for about 3 years. In those those 3 years we're able to determine our weaker employees and understand why their performance isn't up to standards/expectations. Having ActivTrak can provide upper management insight on how an employee's workflow from the start to end of their day.

ActivTrak provides Real-time tracking of employees' productivity and performance as well as it gives options to check for the screenshots and activity time logs of the user's system without having to worry about a breach in the user's personal data we can differentiate which data can be monitored and what information should not be logged. It helps to avoid unnecessary collection of data which saves time and keeps the management up to date on current and past working trends and categories.

View and watch end users to see if they need help focusing or directing them in a positive way to get them motivated. Keeping someone motivated also keeps them focused and happy. When we use the tool in a positve matter it can really address issues and/or open lines of communication.

I don't think it's increased productivity per se, but it does confirm that our team members are staying productive when working from home or even on the days they work in the office. It also acts as an early warning system if an employee has a very unproductive day so that we can quickly take action to see what the problem is.

We can tell where people are spending their time. We use a VOIP phone system, so it even tracks their phone time as productive time. It also helps us to see how much people are using our CRM. They are supposed to be putting all of their info in it and it is very obvious when someone is not doing that.

We had a couple of employees that claimed they were too busy to help other staff with certain tasks. This claim has been asserted for years. When we implemented ActivTrak, we started to notice that a lot of time was spent on personal tasks (close to 3 hours a day for one employee). These were seasoned employees with a lot of knowledge. We were able to have open discussions about expectations and that we could see what they were doing. We were able to block the problematic websites and redirect energy toward conducting business. We were also able to identify inefficient processes and spend some time with one on one training to better manage time and workload. An example of this is that we have an employee that would physically print documents and then scan them to email them. We were able to identify that this was happening and train them to save the document as a PDF and then email it.

We can see a percentage of time people are productive and unproductive, as well as which applications and website they have been using throughout a set period, be it a day, a week, a month, or a custom time frame.

We are able to produce reports detailing which members of staff may need additional training based on how they follow the procedures in place for their job.

ActivTrak helped us weed out bad employees that spend more time not trying to work than work. Helped us with workflow. Helped us with figuring out an employee's weaknesses and strengths. It helped us look at departments and see if we needed help in that department. It allowed us to really look at an employee's work and see if they were busy not working or actually working. It helped us make decisions faster on termination. It helps keep us safe from internal or external threats.
