working hours tracking is well suited as we are a salary based company, working hours could be a good metric to measure employees' attitude and efforts spent on work.

This is excellent software if you wonder what your team is doing when you aren't there. If you want to improve your team's workflows and efficiencies so they get more done with less fatigue, this is a great thing to have. This is not spyware. It isn't designed to capture keystrokes. It is designed to help your team improve performance and for management to understand what they are doing and help them improve. If you want to micromanage your team, then don't use this.

It depends on the business model and wants of the colleague -- are they hybrid? Are they wanting to track productivity vs non productivity? The referral would base solely on what the colleague is looking for and what features they're wanting out of a platform. We use the interface in such a limited capacity that I couldn't highlight additional benefits that could, and are there, but it would be something I would tell someone to at least look into.

ActivTrak does well at defining productive and non productive navigation.
The way it can auto mark is nice and the fact you can edit things based on your line of business.
The biggest use case I have seen it used for that I disagree is just to track everything employees are doing. While this can do that as well its not the best use of it and if you are not trusting the employee to do their work then alleviate the job from them or retrain.

Remote workers is the easy answer but its also so beneficial to assist in office workers understand their time management.

This review came at a good time. Yesterday we planned to use it to keep track of a questionable employee's time spent remotely last week only to find the data was not tracked for almost 2 full days. This was critically important to us and it was unavailable.

It works very well for tracking the efficiency of your team. Tracking if employees are working or not, especially when you have remote employees. I think it is also great for compliance.

It is well suited if you have very basic needs for tracking software. I have used other similar applications which do a better job at a better price point and the only reason I use this product today is because the new company I am with installed it before I started working with them.

ActivTrak can be beneficial in a company to understand their employees and how their time is being spent on their daily activities. Not entirely necessary for employees who are in office, but remote workers.

Tracking productivity for underperforming agents or identifying things that take more time than they should

Due to the program's versatility, we're able to calibrate it to fit our company's needs. We mainly use ActivTrak to pull metrics for our managers and team to show where we're excelling and where we need to pay more attention. Each user has their own log-in, so they can monitor their usage in real-time.

I can see which apps are getting the most use, where time is being spent, and if there are any obsticles slowing down the work.

as long as it is not abused, ActivTrak helps management follow productivity.

While I appreciate what ActivTrak can provide, it is a fine line between hovering constantly over what your employees are doing. We have only used these on employees who work remote and is a way to hold each other accountable.

Great for telling simple information if someone is actively working. And if they are actively working it'll tell you what they're working out of, Email, Websites, etc.

During the pandemic it has become my right-hand mam, allowing me to monitor all our staff and their productivity whilst they remote work from home.

ActivTrak is great for teams with production goals and remote work. I don't think I would recommend this for teams that primarily spend their days in Zoom meetings or similar platforms.

ActivTrak is well suited for companies looking to monitor the remote staff productivity and performance rather than sitting in front of the cams and watching many users at the same time to evaluate work efficiency ActivTrak provides as easy solution for managing and keeping records of user's activities to improve the organization's expectations and completing there given tasks. It also helps the management to keep a check and balance between productive use of the working hours and resources. It should not be used for the breech on someone's private activities of receiving any confidential Financial information. which is prohibited strictkly.

ActivTrak has been a great tool from the beginning. I was impressed with the demo and compared to other programs it delivers a better experience and a vastly larger amount of useful data. I do not find it less appropriate for anything. Every manager who uses it really loves it! I will continue using the tool.

Allows for high level productivity tracking on simple system use. Good

Some features require higher permissions than we are comfortable giving our managers, so they make do with lesser permissions. Needs improvement...maybe more user types.

Anytime your team grows or has remote workers, ActivTrak will help massively

Our objectives are not fully met. We need to track productivity by location (office vs home). We were prepared to upgrade to take advantage of the location insights; however, it does not seem to be compatible with our system. Additionally, the scope of what is being captured by ActivTrak seems to be somewhat limited.

We have a hybrid environment for a few departments so we use ActivTrak to track their productivity on their work-from-home days and it provides a clear analysis between the productive vs non-productive times during their work days. We have less than 10 people that we monitor so I'm not sure how well-suited the system is or if there are any better options for larger companies. It certainly suits our needs though.

ActivTrak is great for making sure that people are actually working when working from home. It also helps to quickly find the people who are probably not a good fit for our culture. They are not putting in the same effort as other members of their team. For example, we are a sales-driven organization and we found a user who was setting up a Zoom meeting with only themselves so that it looked like they were working when they were not.
