The platform provides access to data on advertising, marketing, and agency teams at over 10,000 national brands. 

In addition to direct contact details, AdData's business profiles feature sales intelligence, from target audience demography and ad spending to preferred media environments. The vendor says this allows users to target prospects from unique angles, and, ultimately, build more lucrative opportunity pipelines.

AdDataExpress is mainly used for organizing and targeting our lead sources. It helps keep track of the statuses [of] our potential contacts and business partners. We have strong needs to hit sales targets and this tool helps in that regard. Keeping track of how much we are spending per lead source is also very helpful.
  • Lead organization
  • Emails for potential email blasts
  • Dollars spent on campaigns
  • Filtering is not optimal
  • Integration with other products is not intuitive or even there
  • Keeping data up to date automatically
When using tools like AdDataExpress, demographics are key when trying to identify new relationships. Being able to segment out the population by many demographic fields is absolutely necessary to try and optimize what we are spending. Trying to use this as a pure CRM is probably not the greatest idea, but using it in parallel with one would be good.

We use both AdDataExpress and Salesforce, but trying to figure out Salesforce in this way is very convoluted and the way AdDataExpress is set up makes things much simpler to keep track of. AdDataExpress keeps [focusing] on doing the things that it is made of, while Salesforce can do a bit of everything.

We use AdDataExpress for prospecting, so we take a look at which companies/accounts we want to target, and find contacts from both the brand as well as agency. The LinkedIn profiles and email syntaxes are very useful also so we can prospect more using LinkedIn and other prospecting tools. Overall, we go to AdDataExpress as the first thing we do before outreach to a target account.
  • Provides email addresses - essential when doing cold email outreach.
  • Provides agencies for each brand/company.
  • Provides media spend for parent company and brand.
  • Updating who works on each brand from the brand side.
  • Updating who works on each brand from the agency side.
  • Not having to log in as often.
It is much better to prospect brands and find appropriate contacts at a parent account, and not such a strong suit for agencies.

  • Improved efficiency of prospecting.
  • Improved efficiency of finding emails and email syntax.
Winmo allows more dynamic and functional searches, and puts agency and brand contacts in one place. It also allows exports based on spend and in general, is much more dynamic of a software.
