I use it primarily to review SOW documents and client contracts. Clients will send us how much they want to pay for certain items of work through SOWs, which are opened by me using Adobe. Every now and then, there will be a document that I will fill out that needs to be either populated or signed, for which I'll use Adobe as well.
  • Reading documents.
  • Populating documents with text.
  • Signing documents.
  • I hate when something is not achieved because I don't have full version.
  • It could load a bit faster.
  • There are cheaper tools that do what Adobe does.
It is well suited for reading documents. It is well suited for populating documents where you have to put in name/address/etc. It is well suited for documents that you need to provide a signature on, especially since you can draw your own signature using the mouse, which, to me, provides additional security.

Adobe Acrobat is extensively used in our organization for managing and handling PDF documents, a common format for business communications and documentation. The primary business problems it addresses include:
1- Document Conversion: We convert various document formats to PDFs for consistency and professionalism.
2- Editing and Annotation: Acrobat allows direct editing and commenting on PDFs, streamlining document reviews and collaboration.
3- Electronic Signatures: The e-signature capability facilitates efficient document approval processes, especially useful for remote work.

Our usage spans across multiple departments, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring document security and compliance.
  • High-Quality PDF Conversion
  • Advanced Editing Features
  • Electronic Signature Functionality
  • The user interface can be overwhelming for new users, with numerous features and settings that are not immediately intuitive.
  • Acrobat can be resource-intensive, leading to slow performance, especially when opening large PDF files or performing complex editing tasks.
  • Acrobat's pricing, particularly its subscription model, can be a barrier for small businesses and individual users
Well-suited: Creating Fillable Forms: For businesses that require data collection through forms, Acrobat's tool to create and manage fillable PDF forms is extremely useful. These forms can be distributed digitally and filled out electronically.
Less suited:
Basic Document Viewing: If the need is simply to view PDFs, Acrobat might be overkill, considering its cost and complexity. Free PDF viewers might suffice for this purpose.

I primarily use it to remediate inaccessible PDF documents as well as make PDF forms. I use the accessibility feature, tags panel, content panel, OCR option, and forms option.
  • Checking for accessibility.
  • Editing the document through the tag tree.
  • Scanning and covering to a tagged document.
  • Consistently artifacting items correctly.
  • Make it more streamlined to make form fields accessible.
It's very well suited if you need to make edits with minimal text editing. Acrobat should not be used as a text editor.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is an important part of what I do. Many of the documents I create are converted into PDFs and I often use the program to read and edit documents sent to me. This program is reliable, moves quickly and is easy to navigate. The toolbars are clear and make doing your work easy and without frustration.
  • Creating PDF files through Adobe Acrobat Reader is a simple process and those docs are particularly useful for a company's website as linkable items.
  • When receiving a PDF file, it makes it easy to convert that document or edit it when necessary.
  • The program itself moves quickly and allows for easy reading of importan documents.
  • Would like a better way to organize all the files that show up on the home screen. Drag and drop folders where the headers can be retitled would be helpful.
  • When you click on some files under "recent," they say the file isn't available and can no longer be opened. If that's the case, it would clean up the home screen if those files names were automatically moved to their own folder or deleted.
  • The "clear recent" button at bottom seems to serve only to clean up the home screen. But I don't see another space where it captures all the PDFs in some way so I can see them. Some organized way to maintain headers to old PDFs would be nice.
It works really well to create docs that are linkable from a website. We don't really want to put in Word Docs to link to because someone can just take that an easily edit it. Adobe adds in an extra layer of protection. Not sure it works as well when you're sending docs that you want feedback on, because it's more cumbersome to edit and make changes, but for static docs that are just meant to be read, this is perfect.

We use Adobe Acrobat DC to edit pdf files mainly. The editing consists of content editing, combining files, deleting pages etc. The software is used by about 15 people in our organization. We recently started to use Adobe for collecting signatures for contracts and official documents as well.
  • Edit PDF files
  • Combine PDF files
  • Reviewing PDF files
  • Collecting signatures
  • Optimizing PDF files
  • To be able to use it separately from the Adobe Cloud
  • The layout of the interface
  • Installation time
  • Installation process
  • Update process
If a colleague needs PDF file functionality that is not supplied within the free Adobe Reader software, we acquire a license for that employee. It is suitable for office assistants, communications staff, legal staff and management mainly within our organization. For HR and Legal purposes we use the option to have documents digitally signed by a group of people as well.

We deal with lot of PDF documents like converting to PDF or converting back to word or excels and in these aspects Adobe acrobat is best and the accuracy it provides in conversion without disturbing the formats is unmatched by other softwares and it is easy to use software which even a non technology person can operate comfortably.
  • Converting to PDF from various other formats like word, excel and jpeg etc
  • Converting back to word, excel or other formats.
  • Merging and splitting of documents.
  • Facility for incorporating digital signatures
  • modification in PDF documents is little cumbersome which needs to be improved.
  • modification process needs to be more user friendly
  • inclusion of newer formats for conversion to pdf and vice versa
best suited for scenarios where documents need to be converted to pdf and conversion back to word or excel but less suited to environment where document is mixture of text ,tables and pictures and converting back pdf documents to documents where pictures and tables are required. So it is more suitable for digital trasformation of documents along with latest features of digisign etc

I use Adobe Acrobat daily. It has so many useful features, I'm not sure how I ever worked without it. The feature I use the most is the conversion feature which allows you to change a PDF to another type of document. As an example: pdf to Word, pdf to PowerPoint. You are even able to take a scan of a document and Adobe Acrobat will convert it to a Word document with editable text. I believe the OCR capabilities have recently been enhanced with the help of AI because the last document I scanned was almost perfect. Our company also uses Adobe Acrobat to send forms for signatures including a detailed signature confirmation along with where the document was signed. The third feature I use frequently is the ability to create your own fillable forms.
  • Document Conversion
  • PDF Creation
  • Secure E-Signatures
  • Fillable forms
  • The cost - It is not cost friendly for everyone
  • User-friendly - It has improved dramatically, but I still find things that are really not very intuitive
I create fillable forms from documents we normally have clients fill out, which allows them to complete them online rather than printing, filling in and sending back. It is more convenient and saves time.

I use Adobe Acrobat read, comment on, mark up, and edit PDFs. I love that it allows me to leave comments/edits/markups on PDFs in a variety of ways, such as crossing out text and suggesting what to insert, highlighting, commenting, and more. It's much better than opening a PDF in my web browser or Teams.
  • Directly edit text
  • Provide markups and suggestions
  • Insert and remove pages from the same PDF or others on your computer
  • The interface is pretty user-friendly, but I think the options on the lefthand panel could be made a bit easier to read and select from sub-levels
Adobe Acrobat is best suited for sharing PDFs between lots of people, especially when others need to provide comments, edits, changes, etc. If all you need to do is read a PDF and nothing more, you probably don't need it, but I still like how it functions better than my browser (Firefox). It's not appropriate for making lots of changes, such as moving images around.

I use Acrobat primarily to combine artwork files into one file so it's easier for others to review them. This made it a quicker process for my company to do internal reviews- instead of reviewing 10 files separately, people are able to review just one.
  • Combine multiple files into one.
  • Make text editable/copy and pastable.
  • If it's possible to compress a file even more.
  • Be able to work with downloaded fonts.
It is well suited for combining multiple files into one. Also, it is good for commentators to make comments on my files during the review process.

I am using Adobe Acrobat from past 16 years. We provide the requirements to our clients on pdf format which is easily readable by Adobe. Earlier any kind of company documents like Requirement traceability matrix, test plan, technical documentation etc can be easily created and shared with the tool. We can maintain the version history very well. The application is light weighted and can open any big pdf documents.
  • Easy light weighted application
  • Version history management
  • Easy deployment
  • No training requirement
  • Password protection
  • When pdf has high quality images.
  • Alerts and notifications for users.
  • Onboarding training
This is wonderful application when we are creating and sharing the confidential documents company or team wide. We can create documents with diffrent types of user security. They are wonderful job when they have created a light weighted application.

We use Acrobat in our organization for creating PDF documents, e signing pdf, print feature for printing a PDF, converting a non-PDF into PDF, edit feature for editing a PDF, share feature for sharing a PDF with different people, combining features to combining different PDFs, we like using the modern view of Acrobat which is user friendly.
  • Print feature to Print a PDF document.
  • Edit feature to edit a PDF document.
  • Creating a PDF document.
  • Combine feature to combine different PDFs.
  • Launch time needs to be improved.
  • Acrobat uses a lot of Ram so it should be improved.
  • It occupies plenty of drive space.
Acrobat is very useful in printing a PDF document as it takes very little time to print a document. Also, there are multiple good features in print, like quick printing is possible, both sides printing is also there, and multiple pages printing is also there, etc. The sign feature is very helpful and widely used, and there is trust in Acrobat for the sign feature on confidential documents and other software that is not globally trusted. An area where Acrobat is appropriate is that subscription costs are on the higher side if compared with other software available in the market. Different variants of Acrobat are available in the market, so it is sometimes difficult to understand which one to buy.

We use Adobe Acrobat for editing text and images for documents and newsletters. We also use Adobe Acrobat for creating images, placing them in certain areas of the page. We can also add text and picture elements to the pages. I can also use Adobe Acrobat to add images and modify paragraphs.
  • Editing images
  • Edit text
  • Modify documents
  • Use less memory
  • Open faster
  • Handle more pages
I use it for text and image editing. Other applications might be better for vey large documents

Opening, creating and editing pdfs for distribution to staff. As we use a mix of windowsOS and Apple hardware for a variety of screen sizes from iphones to desktops so we need the ability to create and send documents with cross platform compatibility and Adobe Acrobat gives us that with with PDF format and the ability to sign documents
  • cross platform readbility
  • creating and editing pdfs
  • signing documents
  • sometimes rearranging aspects of a document can be a little awkward
It is very well suited for creating smart one-pagers for distribution within the business to give people the key points for the week. Great for making posters and displays too

However it can be a little difficult to edit without a desktop PC and for making longer form text documents

Adobe Acrobat is used for primarily administration and document processing purposes in my organisation. We use it in HR to create easy-to-fill signing and non-signing forms and documents for our wider network of approximately 12,000 team members across our head office, stores, and distribution centres. These include contract detail capture forms, learning tracker forms, policy documents, and certificates of service, among others.
  • Providing a non-editable/view only document or form for wider distribution.
  • The ease of filling a form once the template has been set up.
  • Text editability on an otherwise static document.
  • The integration with and ability to convert to Word and vice versa.
  • Organize Pages function very useful for incorporating multiple documents together.
  • Split File option is very useful for segregating different pages of documents, especially with bulk MailMerges.
  • Form template set up can be quite arduous and fiddly, especially if trying to set up checkboxes.
  • Regularly have issues with it notifying me I don't have access to to advanced editing despite having a full licence - requires reloading & causes minor disruption.
Very well suited to MailMerge (originating from MS Word) purposes for the ease of splitting separate documents out. Also utilised well for fillable forms that you want limited editing abilities on, e.g. certain fields to be filled out but the remainder of the form to remain as templated. Provides a good uneditable document if needing to provide a more official/genuine document, e.g. certificate of service that you don't want a team member to be able to edit. I find Adobe Acrobat less suitable for a full end-to-end document signing process, and any very detailed forms are sometimes better created in another application.

Easily allows for editing and combining of documents. As an Admin Assistant keeping documentation current, accurate and organized is absolutely essential. Adobe Acrobat allows for seamless editing for quick updates and the combine documents feature is a lifesaver. Makes pulling board packets and other documents together breeze with just a couple clicks and easy customization whenever updates are required. Absolutely would recommend for anyone in the professional world. The utility and ease of use are definitely worth the expense.
  • Editing
  • Combining documents
  • Customization
  • Slight learning curve but really it’s pretty user friendly.
I use it almost daily as an Admin Assistant in the healthcare industry. For small businesses it may be a little pricy but I’ve always found it a worthwhile expense.

There are a number of PDF documents we use for fliers and to let people know about upcoming events. We use Adobe Acrobat on a regular basis to make changes or updates that don't necessarily require a complete redesign. There are also times that we use it when we are working on other bulletins and documents for employees.
  • Allows editing for PDF documents
  • Allows you to create new PDFs from merged documents
  • Provides tools to add new fields on PDFs
  • Complex PDFs can be challenging to edit when they have multiple fields
  • It takes a lot of guesswork and trial/error to learn how to use the various features
One of the best time to use Adobe Acrobat is to make small changes to PDFs. We have some templates that we can use for fliers announcing recurring events. However, if there are changes that need to be made to text headers or to add more information, you can do it with Adobe Acrobat that goes beyond a normal template.

We used Adobe Acrobat every single day, at least 30 times to help with many different tasks:

- Create PDFs starting from a Word file mostly but also to accommodate many scanned files into a single one.

- Edit documents to add more text to contrats or edit the current text, add images and redistribute the current format.

- We are now able to export to some other formats based on our company's needs.

Along with the previous, we use a lot the signature function to fill out our contracts and finish with a sign. There are some other small options we use like checking the grammar, splitting a PDF, or removing some sheets, likewise adding some other sheets to a file.

Lastly, all these features have been key to improving our operations creating contracts, and getting those signed and stored for the future.
  • PDF Creation
  • Editing all aspects of PDFs Documents (Text, Images, splitting sheets)
  • Filling out and signing documents
  • Resize the documents and export to different formats.
  • Until now, there's nothing we found areas of improvements that requires a big change.
  • Maybe to refresh the interface to make more friendly to non-expert users.
  • Maybe more organization of the icons.
Mostly used in our cases for contracts, agreements, and document creation for signature specifically. Besides that, it can be used for everyone who would like to manage a robust format for documents and be able to edit them later. Word is strongly necessary since it allows more options to format related things but Adobe Acrobat is well accustomed to it.

We use Adobe to view and edit PDF documents. It helps with our signatures, and we use this product daily. The ease of use when adding text to a PDF, adding Signatures, or even drawing/highlighting is fantastic. I have recommended this product to many people and will continue.
  • Create signatures.
  • Text box placement.
  • Highlighting abilities.
  • The ease of sizing things.
Adobe Acrobat is best suited for anyone who is editing any type of PDF document. Everyone in our company uses it on a daily, and it has made our jobs way easier. If you have a computer at your job, I definitely suggest that you use this software whenever you can.

I utilize Adobe Acrobat DC every day at work - I don't know what I'd do without it! I use a lot of the features, but my favorite features are Edit, Organize, and Protect. Adobe Acrobat DC makes it so easy to correct a document, remove/add/rearrange pages, & address any concerns with security by providing encryption and password protection options.
  • Editing a document.
  • Remove/insert/rearranges pages within the document.
  • Document security.
  • Option to edit a document after a signature (even if it's just a note on the document Adobe provides stating the document's been edited with '....' after signature.
  • Pricing - making it more affordable for the everyday person.
The updates Adobe has made to their 'Export' product are extremely improved and noticeable. Previously, for any export from Adobe to Excel or Word, the worksheet/document wasn't the same, and the formatting would look awful. However, now, each export looks exactly the same - the streamlined product makes it so much easier to convert PDFs when needed.

I use Acrobat in multiple areas in my profession. From editing manuscripts to doing word-for-word comparisons in layout form, Acrobat is mission-critical, allowing me to produce effective and efficient work. Acrobat is also used for all pitch work so I can have a clean canvas to work on and do all edits in a thorough and concise manner that can be reviewed and acted upon by other team members.
  • Find/replace.
  • Developing a spelling checklist.
  • Able to highlight and review easily.
  • Quick save features.
  • No toggle between select and scan.
  • Better representation of visuals.
  • Find/replace is too narrow for words.
Working in an ad agency, it is critical to control versioning. With Acrobat, we can easily see who has reviewed, when they reviewed, and the version they reviewed. This is important because pharma clients are ultra-picky when it comes to ensuring best practices are followed and FDA guidelines are adhered to. Acrobat puts us in the best position to do that.

We use it a lot to provide content to prospective students in a format that looks good and is also easy to be open to. Also, since the PDFs can be locked down for the most part, we can provide some of the propriety content without worrying about people sharing the content. Also, we use PDFs for some digital-only sales of our materials, as some of the materials we sell are only digital.
  • Maintain Layout.
  • Works on Almost any platform.
  • Quick Loading.
  • Able to be secured.
  • The price per license for the pro version is pricey and its per month.
  • Some of the new pdf formats require a updated reader.
  • Team use of acrobat gets expensive.
If you plan on sharing a layout and want it to appear the same no matter what platform, then Acrobat is a good start. It's easy to use, and the free reader plugin (and most browsers also can read it) makes it quick for end users. If you need a cheap PDF creator, acrobat might not be the one as it's a monthly charge.

We have a lot of administrative personnel who need to edit PDF files, and Adobe Acrobat is the name you think of when you hear PDF. It allows the staff to read or make changes quickly and easily to any PDF file. It also has other features like fill and sign, which can be useful.
  • Edit PDF files.
  • Read PDF Files.
  • Converting PDF files to different formats.
  • Sending documents to be signed.
  • The licensing move to a subscription based model.
  • Requirement to have an adobe account and be connected to internet.
  • Making every feature an add on purchase.
Adobe Acrobat is well suited for working with any PDF file you will come into contact with. Adobe's business practices are what hurt the software the most. Making Acrobat a cloud subscription service, as well as requiring an Adobe account before you can even use the software as well as requiring an internet connection to even be able to open the program. The software is awesome, but it feels like they are trying to get every penny they can out of you at every turn.

I use Adobe Acrobat primarily with my business to send and receive documents for signatures with my clients and vendors. We definitely use it for other purposes but the signature portion is what we intended when we budgeted for this.
  • Easy to understand- the program has a very intuitive layout that is great for people who doesn't use the product very much
  • Includes all features you might need. There are many features I didn't even think we would need that they have included.
  • They have a very recognizable name so my clients feel they can trust what they are being asked to open/sign since the Adobe name is next to it.
  • It's a heavy program. This means a lot of RAM is utilized when doing something even pretty small just by running the program
  • The digital signature portion is a little tricky to understand. There is not a lot of documentation around securing and saving the multiple digital signatures you're able to create.
Adobe Acrobat is a perfect solution for businesses that are able to use PDFs for invoicing and other business documents where they also need to collaborate with people outside the business for approval and signage. It does a great job of tracing a secure path of ownership and authorship between users.
