The main idea of this application is to ease people to have a platform where they can view, create, change, print and manage their documents. This application is mainly used in our company for creating documents and presenting it to the stakeholders. It helps us crop PDF pages, change their order, manipulate hyperlinks, digitally sign a pdf file, add comments and so much more. It is also available in so many different languages, like French, German, Japanese, etc. This application is so much compatible with desktop as well as mobile. Also, there are portal in our organization where PDF is only acceptable document.
  • Print a pdf file
  • Viewing a document
  • e-signing
  • Convert a document
Cons
  • None that i can follow
Adobe Acrobat is suited in every area of our life. Creating resumes to exporting it to a different document type, to help adding a comment, to giving print options. The experience is surreal and absolutely error-free. The pdf documents can be presented anywhere and to anyone.
I think its not suited scenarios are very less, since this application fits everywhere.

I combine multiple files to add to our database and create reports. I use this function on a daily basis.
  • Combines multiple pages/files
  • Create financial packages
Cons
  • I create a pdf but have to close the program and reopen it to merge the created pdf with other files.
  • In my experience, it's slow to print files
Great for combining multiple files and making them into one. Takes forever to process a print job in my experience.

Adobe Acrobat is our standard for PDF files. We use it to secure documents and make them easily storable. We make regular use of the search functionality by using OCR technology. As standard software, it is accessible for all employees, giving us a common platform for document retention at our company.
  • Secures editable documents.
  • Search capability with OCR.
  • Ease of file management.
Cons
  • Need to have upgraded versions to do some common editing tasks.
  • Sometimes difficult to utilize highlighting and other tools.
  • This may be a network issue internally, but often the files are slow to open on our system.
Adobe Acrobat works well to take editable files in Word and Excel and put them into a format where they can't be easily altered, either by internal or external parties. That makes it less beneficial on collaborative documents, so it works for us to use the standard Word and Excel documents until we get to a final version, and then save it as a PDF in Adobe.

Adobe Acrobat is very important for the design area since in many cases it allows quick edits of artwork sent by clients in PDF format. In many cases to correct or add some text. It is also great for merging PDF files and for some printers with special configuration, there are plugins to facilitate the desired printing.
  • Edit PDF files
  • Merge files into PDF
  • Encript PDF files
  • Sign or require signature in PDF files
  • Create forms
Cons
  • User interface
  • The text editing tool
  • Price
Having a tool like Adobe Acrobat is important for an office that works with a high volume of documents, more specifically, with PDF files. In many cases it makes it easier for you to put together employee or client files. Having the tool you can easily merge these files, add notes to these documents, and you can also automate processes by creating forms.

I use Adobe Acrobat DC to view, create, edit, and print .pdf files. I do a lot of file conversions, and I like the way I'm able to do it seamlessly with this software. When I receive emails with .pdf documents that are not editable, I just upload them and convert them for easy editing. It's not difficult to create them either. I've even made forms that I use for training, and computer consulting, and as attachments for any proposal and bid submissions. Most of all, I like the fact that everything I need is in one software, and it's versatile. Whatever tasks I do on my laptop, if need be I can also continue working on .pdf files on my smartphone. I'm glad there's the option to save files on the cloud so I still have space on my hard drive. I'm especially happy that I'm able to convert them to readable formats such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It comes in handy since I do a lot of training with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Combine files so that I can save them as one single .pdf file.
  • Create .pdf files from scratch.
  • Convert .pdf files into Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.
  • Convert read-only .pdf files to editable .pdf files.
  • Ability to store files online.
Cons
  • Have it where converted scanned files doesn't need much re-formatting.
  • Mobile editing should be one of the standard features instead of having it only available in the Pro version.
  • The ability to compare two .pdf files should also be standard.
When I'm doing tasks outside of the home, I check email, messages on Social Media, etc. I'm not always home, and I need the ability to access any files. I rely on the ability to upload and download files from the phone; the app makes it easy. I've used the browsers also on my smartphone to access the cloud. In one scenario I believe it's best not to use it during certain portions of onsite meeting sessions. You can't be on your phone all the time during meetings, especially since there are still measures implemented to return to onsite situations (safely of course). Another scenario would be knowledge of virtual meetings; online etiquette should still be standing.
