Adobe Acrobat is the master product for multiple project document management. It is great at merging various documents easily and is perfect for creating new PDF files. Reporting and communication strategies via Adobe Acrobat are excellent, and they allow effective team collaboration, quick document sharing, and a very secure platform.

I just don't feel as comfortable using other PDF editors. They just don't have the same name and look as Adobe Acrobat and I worry about the security of using other software to work on our company's documents. They may have similar features as Adobe Acrobat but I don't see any overall improvement to the features that Acrobat offers.

  • Foxit PDF Editor (FoxitPhantom)
Adobe Acrobat is great at assembling separate documents into a single document, replacing pages, and optimizing file sizes for web presentation. We can easily import our signatures on documents through Adobe Acrobat. It is essential for our everyday business use, in particular editing, redacting and protecting documents.

For our organization, Adobe Acrobat is selected primarily for its specialized features in creating, editing, and securing PDF documents. Given our focus on point-of-sale software and payment processing services, the need for maintaining document consistency, professionalism, and enhanced security aligns well with Adobe Acrobat's strengths. While Google Docs/Sheets are excellent for collaborative work, Adobe Acrobat's specialized features make it the preferred choice for our internal systems, emphasizing document quality and security.

The ability with this software especially of multiple PDF files management and creation is more productive and the performance is effective and easy usability is cost effective. Data security and integration functionalities are also a big point with this system and final production quality from the product is excellent and easy reporting.

I think Adobe Acrobat is better designed, has better and more robust options and is more secure than the cloud services that those sites provide. Acrobat also is already integrated in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, so is cheaper to use it, because in those tools above you have to pay for using the more robust features.

Really, this was not much of a competition for anyone standing up next to Adobe. There is so much more scalability and functionality in a team such as ours that we did not have any issues or concerns going with Adobe compared to any of the other competitors out there

Both products provide somewhat distinct benefits to varying degrees, so both are complementary and needed. PDFill tools allows to further manipulate PDF documents, such as for example automate the splitting, merging or rotating of PDF documents. PDFill tools is not used to create or edit documents or content, but rather simply to manipulate pages after documents have been created by Adobe Acrobat.

We try to keep standards. We only offer Adobe products besides what is available with the built-in Edge PDF. It seems to offer decent options for general PDF viewing purposes and allows some basic features like highlighting and adding text boxes.

There really is no comparison. Although we use other PDF programs, we mainly utilize Adobe. Not only because we find it to be a better program but also because everyone is more familiar with it. However, the other products are implemented for various reasons, such as a feature or 2 that we find necessary to use at times.

PDF readers allow you to access PDF files, but that is a bare minimum in my work and not sufficient for my needs when preparing content, adapting it, or even combining content into new PDF files. I've not encountered any application that works as well or intuitively as Adobe Acrobat.

Well, each app from Adobe on Creative Cloud does other things. Acrobat is an overall go-to for PDFs; no other app from Adobe does that. It's included in the Creative Cloud subscription.

With Preview I have to create my own text boxes and place them in the correct spot within the document. This leads to clutter and moving the incorrect boxes. With Adobe Acrobat nothing needs to move as it’s set within the file.
