I think I would probably spend a bit more time in comparing other options. To be honest, we went with Adobe just because of name and simplicity and the fact we have used them before. There may be some more options out there that do just as much or more for a better price. However, we are happy with our decision.

We would not change how we evaluated this product as we had experience with it in some fashion prior to our purchase. When comparing this product in the market place there really is not product that can hold a candle up to Adobe suite of tools.

There are a few ai driven solutions that may meet our need for archival digitization. I did not consider them at the time since they did not exist. If I had to reevaluate the selection of the product in 2024 then I would consider sequestering the archival and digitizing through OCR component to a standalone solution and only consider the pdf management/signing aspects of Acrobat

If I were to change my evaluation process, I would likely look to review all features that are available and also attempt to learn how to use them all. I would then look at some of the other solutions available to determine which solution makes most sense for for the cost.
