Adobe analytics provides great customer support with integration with third party apps very easily which makes it a reliable tool for analysing the data along with future forecasting of data using predictive analytics. It provides segment metrics which helps in understanding the data in various segments where we can use different metrics allocation like linear, last touch etc.

Google Analytics is good as well however I feel Adobe Anaytics is a premium Enterprise Analytics Solution and therefore comes with a price. Google dashboards and custom reports allow you to add visualizations together but only using simple correlations, and Google has determined which data you can put into what column. In custom reports, Adobe Analytics Workspace allows you to easily drag and drop anything anywhere and compare data.

Adobe Analytics allows for the comparison of the same metric with and without various segments applied. Google Analytics is an all-or-nothing situation; either you apply a segment to metric or you do not. This makes it difficult for segment vs. non-segment and creating percentage metrics. In my opinion, this is the ONLY advantage Adobe Analytics has over Google Analytics.
Chartbeat is great for real-time metrics. Adobe is close, with about a 15-20 minute delay. Though often their servers are slow to collect and show all the data for several hours.

They both have their perks. Glassbox has session recordings and interaction maps which are very useful to see what elements on the page users are interacting with. While Adobe Analytics provides are more analytical and statistical approach where you can learn about everything else.

Adobe Analytics offered us more targeted and differentiated dimensions and metrics because as a pharmaceutical company, our target audience involved a small group of people. We segmented the doctors according to their specialties and excluded the office traffic by using the specific group of the audience involved in IP addresses. We were able to group before login visits and after login visits and understood our target audience traffic data.

Adobe analytics was decided on above my pay grade, while I am a user I did not decide to solely use this platform as a company. That being said, I have used other platforms and can see why the complexity of Adobe was chosen over the simplicity of Google Analytics.

Both products are similar, however, Adobe analytics is more robust than Quantum Metric.

On the other hand QM has a cheaper license at the company level.

they do similar jobs and can learn from each other to some extend

Adobe Analytics provides a better cost structure and is more affordable. Also, the support offered by Adobe is strong and accommodating. At the end of the day, it's hard to access the difference without using various analytics tools, I will suggest asking for a demo and free usage for a specific use case before making any decision. Also, be transparent about your data literacy and data management.

We selected Adobe Analytics considering our website traffic volume, as our website traffic volume goes into the few millions every month. Also, we were already using Adobe Campaign for our email, notification campaigns where we had to implement website and app drop-off use cases, which were easily implemented with the help of Out of the box integration between Adobe Campaign and adobe analytics.

Also, we are planning to expand our digital efforts by including audience manager and web personalization solution where Adobe has a strong presence and would work very well with all the digital marketing technologies product suite. Also, the variables storage limit is pretty vast as compared to GA or Kissmetrics

Adobe Analytics is easy to integrate AEM .The segmentation within the reporting tool is quite flexible. You have total control over the data through the admin area. The consistency of the reporting is excellent with Adobe Analytics. You can customize your reports. Adobe Analytics allows you to see your full conversion funnel.

Adobe Analytics is the best and most in depth platform out there that a company can use. It is pricier compared to its competitors and it is much harder to learn unlike Google Analytics, which would be its free competitor. The reports and segmentation are the most detailed which is why we chose Adobe Analytics.

I like how Adobe allows mixing, matching and analyzing data throughout our customers journey which is a robust and reliable tool. I also like how it has been so instrumental on our sales and marketing department offering them marketing strategies with the capabilities like audience and data management, and social marketing, testing, and target of certain group of customers has been a stunner and phenomenal hence increases sales and gives our marketing team new strategies and morale.

Unfortunately, the Adobe connector between Adobe Campaign Classic and Adobe Analytics could be improved - There's a number of dependencies (eg. minimum version reliance) that stop it from a 'plug and play' out of the box connector if you've got existing Adobe products up and running before using Adobe Analytics.

I liked the UI and ease of Navigation Better Options We paid the license to try out for an in-house application. Seeing the use and importance of it, it is widely used by different teams in the org with different env mappings. It would be good to give it a plug-in for students to play.

Adobe Analytics is far better, in my opinion, as it also integrates easily into other software and 3rd party vendors. For example, using CrazyEgg, we can have the analytics from this tool feed into AEM much easier and have more visibility into success metrics.

As the implementation involves multiple products to be integrated together like Adobe Experience Manager, Target, Adobe Audience Manager, We recommended Adobe Analytics as the best suitable product for analytics, as the tracked data would be seamlessly available to other products to be integrated.

I believe Adobe is more suitable for complex website structures as its data visualization dashboard options gives multiple options to represent data in a dashboard which is easy to read and understand. Also, the setting up of CMPID and tracking of goals is much simpler along with tracking of form success rate.

There are some usability features that we no longer have to think about in Adobe Analytics. Of course, Google Analytics can accomplish a lot as a free plug-and-play tool, but it is also without proper support. I've had to go without any insight into our website for 1-2 days with Google Analytics, but we didn't have any support resource to reach out to. We weren't even sure if our data was still intact or trustworthy when there was GA downtime.

Adobe is a massive business - provides some best in class technology best suited for a big business. Adobe is relatively expensive compared to other providers - needs to be a clear ROI that the investment will drive. Support offered by smaller companies is often better - smaller companies offer more dedicated help and are more willing to get their hands dirty and genuinely care about helping to improve business objectives.
