Adobe Analytics is suitable for a large enterprise environment, where the data needs of users is broad and varied. The reporting options here are excellent, as the ability to build custom reports with a view that reflects their specific needs is excellent. Expect confusion over naming conventions, which feel very linked to web reporting in the late 90s/early 00s. For smaller teams or where there is less of a need/capacity to deeply interrogate the data, then Google Analytics is a more intuitive, learnable alternative. Cost is also likely to be a factor when choosing Adobe Analytics - costs can scale steeply.

Adobe analytics is used to track customer conversions from various different sources along with the different steps in customer conversion. It supports integrations with other experience cloud solutions like Experience manager and web content management system which helps in data processing from different sources. Reports and dashboards can be accessed to do data analysis to see insights and forecasting future sales.

When we require business critical reports at a very short notice, we turn to Adobe Analytics for help. Everytime the software helps us with relevant reports when we require it the most. There is a certain degree of automation involved in this that we really like. Reports are customised hence help us take better business decisions in short term & long term both. I may not be able to specify any other scenarios where it it less appropriate as have not come across any such experience.

This product can be used for all businesses, its capabilities are vast so really useful for anyone looking to grow. This software and the team are top notch and have a grasp for what you need when you put time in to explain. All data then comes together in a easy to understand view.

In my experience, set up of a new website in Adobe Analytics from scratch is absolutely atrocious. It is not ready to roll out of the box, unlike other web analytics software.

Adobe Analytics requires careful planning before deploying. This often is in the form of a spreadsheet with multiple columns for the various variables and events to be tracked as well as the classification of the variable. This could be a simple metric or a "conversion variable" which is still a simple metric, but one that can be correlated to other ones and track revenue. Literally simple variables in Adobe cannot do that.

This leads to the duplicate creation of various variables. Granted, Adobe does provide support staff as part of the contract, but this type of software should include some sort of turnkey setup with general metrics beyond a simple page view. Lastly, the need to double up metrics for both standard and conversion metrics feels ludicrously unintuitive to me.

Great use case when you want to integrate high quality reporting on a web site. It is easy to install, configure and leverage the data almost instantly.
Challenge lies in integration with “other” tools, connecting to AEM is super easy but trying to retrofit other solutions proves more challenging. Still think it’s a good product tho.

From my experience, customization was easier because we wanted to use some segmentations to include and exclude in our website analytics as we created segments by using our own membership data and IP addresses to exclude our employees' engagement for the correct measurement. I would say that Analytics data dashboards are not seen as appealing, it is possible to create appealing dashboards by using all design features and integrations in other analytics platforms but Adobe Analytics is so closed to integrate design features.

Well suited for our multi website business to create custom tracking and conversion points across a large variety of referral sources. Not as well suited for a simpler business with minimal business units that could easily use a simpler platform such as Google Analytics for ease of tracking their web traffic.

is more appropiate to generate charts and reports to track KPIs performance based on API's hit and URLs for both web and app.

example i can check how many users hit the login API per month to app or web and generate a chart.

Is not appropiate to get specific sessions to investigate the issues further.

This is a nice tool for any organization with enough data literacy maturity when you can have analysts and power users working alongside it. Obviously, you will need to have data ready and some data management in order to make this tool efficient and provide insights. If in your business you have enough data points to understand very well how your business is operating, this tool could be for you.

Well suited for both web and mobile app setup using Adobe launch and mobile app extensions. If a client is using Adobe marketing product suite, then Adobe Analytics is most recommended as it integrates easily with applications and creates the best customer experience. Also, for enterprise clients with no cost constraints, Adobe Analytics works best.
However, for client with budget constraints, they can go with Google Analytics. Google Analytics provides web analytics solution on a very low cost as compared to adobe analytics. Also, for lower web traffic GA would provide same results as compared to adobe analytics. Also, if the digital marketing stack doesn't consist of any product from Adobe marketing cloud suite, then Adobe Analytics won't add any additional value like out of the box integrations.

Adobe Analytics is for a business that is profitable and needs work on marketing and analyzing its consumers. Unlike Google Analytics, this does cost money and is quite in depth and hard to use for a first timer or even intermediate level employee. It will take time to train employees without a background in this.

What I like most about Adobe Analytics is that it's very flexible and very adaptive user can have as many integrations as possible with data sources, data connectors, and customer attributes. I like how this tool has been a reliable and most powerful tool we use to collect and share our information with our team members where it's been very easy to analyze data effectively. I like how this tool provides us with valuable insights into any area that is being persuaded with multiple data sources.

Being able to really get to know and understand your data has been the biggest benefit of using Adobe Analytics. Your hand isn't held across the implementation stage, which can be daunting but ultimately is one of its strongest assets - as it can easily adapt to any integration strategy and be applied in many different ways.

Adobe Analytics is very well suited if you have a clear picture of what you want your data to look like as an end result, it helps you get to your vision quickly & effectively but lacks at times in making the visualizations dynamic. Also exporting the data set can be difficult as servers often fail to load up the entire data set in one go.

Well suited for real-time information, total control over the data, reporting, customisation.
Less appropriate if the org has independent in-house tool, costly, better technical support or guide.

The place where it is not being currently used is to check any suspicious activity of the environment where there are repeated testdata which should be filtered out as useless data.

Adobe Analytics has been a huge asset to our company as it provides all our digital KPIs related to our brand website. Using this, we can gauge the success of marketing campaigns - such as how many people visited our website as a result of an email - or better understand how much time people are spending on our pages or where they are going after visiting our website.

Adobe Analytics is best suited for large enterprise organisations, who would require detailed analysis of data collected through Analytics and define their roadmap for improving customer journey, targeting users as per their preferences etc. Adobe analytics would be less appropriate for smaller implementations where just basic analytics data is required to be collected, like CTA tracking and views etc.

Well suited for:
1. Website traffic analysis
2. Great visualization templates
3. Website performance tracking
4. Funnel building
5. Integration with multiple platforms / tools
6. Customer journey tracking and mapping

Not appropriate for:
1. UI can be further enhanced
2. Need more appropriate learning / knowledge hub
3. Need to be simplified to deploy
4. Free trails and dummy data can help adapt more users

I've used Adobe Analytics in a couple of different orgs. It is definitely best suited when there's increased need for custom insights and sometimes more detailed business questions to answer. We rely on it for detailed analysis of our marketing web properties – sometimes on the fly and collaboratively with my colleagues in realtime, with the workspace feature. It would require a bit of initial setup time and effort that may not be as clearly documented for an org that is trying to adapt the tool for the first time. Onboarding new personnel to use the tool also require some training and/or enablement of the tool before the product becomes useful to them.

When we are looking at our website data and trends over time, Adobe Analytics is very well suited. If we are looking at a paid campaign, Adobe may help glean information, but it may not be as helpful in getting us the lead information as being on the paid platform will be.
