We are using Adobe Campaign to help email marketing, segmentation and to be able to see the whole customer journey. It's currently only being used by our paid media department. This solution helps us manage email marketing across multiple channels and report our success on them. Adobe said it best - "See the whole customer journey on a single screen".
  • Great for easily managing email marketing.
  • Personalize emails to make them better converting.
  • Reporting on how well campaigns are progressing.
Cons
  • Moving from another platform can be a bit complicated.
  • It can be a bit complex if you only need to send emails, as it has lots of bells and whistles.
  • There are cheaper solutions, but they aren't as good.
This tool is well suited if you want something that is easy to implement, train employees on and great analytics for your campaigns. If you're looking for something cheap to only send emails then this might not be the best bet. The implementation team is awesome so don't be scared to take the jump!

We use Adobe Campaign Standard for ad hoc email campaigns and segmenting the right audience. We also use it for always-on flows with reaching the right audience. Moreover, we use Adobe Campaign Analytics for evaluating campaign performance during and after campaigns. We create between 2-5 email campaigns per week for one client with approximately 50-250,000 e-mail receivers. So this products has a real business impact. If we were to send out emails for this large audience, we would not be able to reach them with 1-1 emails. Moreover, the company is highly complex, so we need the ability to make advanced segmentation and this solves Adobe Campaign Standard easily for us.

Cons
  • Complex segmentation for large companies demands documentation on segmentation triggers, because they are not always easy to understand
  • Sometimes it is difficult to login to Adobe Campaign

When creating a long-running campaign or always-on campaign, the system works really well. An example of this is when we created a lead generation campaign, the leads came into the system effortlessly and the leads received the emails in the campaign on the time we scheduled. Also when exporting a file, we were able to add several elements, such as phone number, address, account number to the list and export it. That was very helpful that we could module the list when the elements that we needed for that export.

Adobe Campaign has been very helpful for us. We primarily use Adobe Campaign to run various email based campaigns to our client base. Also, various different marketing campaigns like offer campaigns, release notes etc are sent through Abode Campaign. Also, one good thing about Adobe campaigns is that we can easily integrate with many thrid party applications which allows us better insights.
  • The quality of defaut templates that are available are very good
  • Customer data management is very simple and intuitive
  • The reports and analytics are detailed. The dashboard too is visually appealing
Cons
  • Adobe could bring in facilities to do region wise campaigns
  • The helpdesk or knowledge base could be refreshed and updated more
  • Campaigns through offline channels like transactional messages are not that efficient
Adobe Campaign has been of great use to us. We can very easily send campaigns, email based or text based to a large set of users at once. Also, the centralized approach to creating campaigns is very time saving and helpful. Importing of contacts is pretty quick and preparing messages to delivery is also smooth. Additionally, it is very easy to collaborate on Adobe Campaigns

Adobe Campaign is being utilized primarily for email marketing initiatives and customer outreach. As we develop its usage, we plan on integrating it with more of our digital assets including online banking and our website. Currently it is being used by the Marketing department and it greatly improves our data modeling.
  • Segmentation is much simpler and robust.
  • Eliminates the silo effect of using outside vendors.
Cons
  • As robust and helpful Campaign is, some aspects of the UX could be improved to be better streamlined.
Well Suited - Managing promotional campaigns with hard expiration dates for personalized content. It is also useful in engaging customers in a meaningful way that helps tailor our offerings better.
