All these years that I used Adobe Captivate Prime, the support seems to be non-existent. Even during COVID, Adobe is not properly funding the product and also not increasing the support capacity. The sales team is only interested in large teams which have 1,000 users or more. It's also hard to reach the support team in general.

All the analysts from the university had tried their hands on an issue but no one was able to resolve it. We eventually reached out to the support team and the forums. It took a good couple of days for the customer support team to respond to the issue. However, the team had scheduled a video meeting with the support staff who was able to resolve the issue in a matter of minutes.

There was a scenario we had when we were trying to put certain lessons together. We wanted to add logic to the questions, so that if the employee answered "yes," another set of questions would come up. Being new, we were unsure [of] how to do this. This is [where] our customer representative came in and helped us with that. He explained to us clearly what to do, and it was simple after that.

There was no exceptional support from [Adobe] Captivate Prime. The support team solved all our doubts during the implementation process, but it was not something exceptional; it was not a support that surprised us or gave us a great contribution. During our implementation process, the doubts that arose were really small, so I do not consider it [as] exceptional support.

Adobe Captivate Prime has a vast set of tutorials that guided us through every step of the training process while learning to get around Prime’s UI. These support resources were helpful user guides, FAQs, and other Adobe Captivate Prime support tools designed specifically for each user role.

In addition, when we made our first system purchase, a representative from Adobe walked us through the basics. So, from the initial set up we had full basic details. Beyond that, we had to seek out more information on our own for advanced actions.

In case something out of the ordinary comes up and you aren’t able to solve it through the step-by-step guides, you can always contact Adobe Customer Care. They’ll be more than willing to help you out.

We had a few difficulties with slow ping for customers living in China and also with access to recordings, but Adobe Customer Service were helpful in solving those issues and we managed to find a solution suitable for our customers. Adobe's live chat support was responsive and it's great to be able to speak with someone almost 24/7.

We had a few calls with my prepared list of questions of which almost all were answered immediately. Some [questions] he needed to come back to me [about], which he usually did within a day. I haven't used support for more since that.

After our issues with time zones, etc. we were reassigned to another customer success manager - just as far away, but this time, in the other direction. However, we have been blessed by Jeff many times over. He is patient, thorough, supportive, effective, efficient, personable, and goes above and beyond for us all the time. Words really can't express how grateful we are to have him as a member of our team.
