My organization provides workflow solutions to our users. We integrate with Adobe Sign as one of our connector actions so that our users who use Adobe Sign can also benefit from the integration. Our users can create Adobe Sign agreements, send them to target user for signatures, and store the signed documents, via our workflow solution.
  • Works well with different document format.
  • A good set of functionalities provided by the API and good documentation.
  • Fairly speedy email responses after agreement is requested for signature and signed.
  • Portal UX could be better designed.
  • Have a way for users to see the agreement ID in "Manage" page.
  • Better debugging/troubleshooting support for API.
  • More information display for errors when using API, retain for longer period of time in "API Request Log" page.
I think Adobe Sign is a fairly versatile solution to request and retrieve signatures, and manage status of the agreements. However, I do think the portal's UX/UI design is very outdated and old fashion. It's really hard to navigate, information is not well structured and presented. This is suitable for people who have been using this for a long time where they have adapted to it. For new users, it requires some efforts and learning to be efficient with the portal.

I use Adobe Sign to send the program agreements for my clients. It makes it easy for them to sign electronically since almost all of my clients are online.
  • I love having my templates that I can just fill in the blank for each client. Saves me time
  • Having an electronic signature makes things much easier for the client instead of asking them to print & sign, then scan, mail or fax their program agreement.
  • I enjoy the simplicity of bringing a PDF that already has my logo and branding into a singable document. Makes me feel and look professional
  • I've had to use private navigation windows to use it with Chrome and this was very annoying at first when I didn't know what to do. The page would not come up
  • The templates stored in my library aren't always easy to get to
  • There used to be a feature to change the language from English to French and I liked selecting the proper language depending if my client is French or English speaking . I coach in both languages
  • Support has been difficult to find at times when I couldn't run the Adobe sign program. I looked in the forums but really needed someone to look into this with me
Coaches who work remotely with their clients.
It's been difficult to have people sign a waiver to take a digital course that I created. I had to send each client individually an email with the agreement to sign. It'd be great to have a fillable document that pops up when someone purchases an online course for exemple

Our contractors love it!

We are a small music festival in San Francisco and bring in outside performing artists and support staff for our annual festival. We use Adobe Sign for their contracts and their tax forms. Further, we use Adobe Sign to coordinate with staff at our parent organization so that they can sign off on things for us.
  • Once you have a form set up it's really easy to upload and reuse it.
  • It's very easy to send forms and to track progress.
  • Passwords can be applied to the PDF of the signed form, or to the ability to sign the form (or both).
  • PDFs of the signed form are automatically emailed to all parties.
  • The UI is very self evident and easy for people signing the forms. Our artists love it!
  • There is no way at a basic CC membership level to send a number of documents to one person and then to separate out the documents later. For instance, I can send a contract and W9 to an artist, but then there are support staff at our parent organization who really only need to receive the contract.
  • Because there is a social security number on the W9 we have to do additional steps to securely transmit the documents. This wouldn't be needed if we were able to send only the parts that were needed.
  • The functionality and user experience is different between Adobe Acrobat on a desktop and through documents.adobe.com. Forms created on desktop sometimes lose functionality when uploaded to the website. For instance buttons can stop working.
Adobe Sign is very well suited for having people sign individual forms. The UI is really easy for people to figure out and in our experience it shortens response time dramatically.

It's not as well suited for forms that require conditional fields (though I might just not have figured that out) or for a collection of forms that you will want to later separate.

I use Adobe Sign almost every day. It's very easy to throw a PDF up there and fill as needed, and sign with pre-filled signature. I used to dread signing contracts and NDA's, because I couldn't find an easy, secure way to do it. Now I'm able to speed through "paperwork" and assure that I'm not missing deadlines, etc.
  • Ease of signing.
  • Eliminates need to print out and scan.
  • Convenient.
  • Keep all signed documents in one place.
  • Allow more annotation (drawing).
I've been using Adobe Sign for years. It's great for signing all kinds of documents. The app has some bugs, though. Often I go to enter info and can't get the cursor to line up correctly. This can be frustrating. But overall, I like using this product. It saves me a lot of time!

Adobe Sign is being used by all the sales departments. It is used for Quotations and Agreement processing.
  • Saves time and increases efficiency.
  • Ability to see log history for audits.
  • Ability to store digital copies of signed agreements.
  • Ability to resend the document to other signers on the fly.
  • Ability to send multiple documents.
  • Ability to get alerts when there are delays.
As mentioned in the "Pros and Cons" section, those scenarios lead up to the rating.

Currently we use Adobe Sign for the approval of invoices and other documents. We are able to send several documents, each requiring a signature and coding, at a time to a single individual. Most of these documents have time restrictions and require additional information from the signer. All of these things are made possible with Adobe Sign. The only limitation that I see from our version of the program is the amount of pages it allows us to send, which is capped at 100 pages. It is rare we have documents that large, but there are times. Otherwise, Adobe Sign is invaluable to the work we do here in Finance.
  • The ability to have multiple signers on a single document
  • The ability to repeat the requirements from one document to all documents within the file
  • The speed at which the documents are sent out to our "free signers"
  • Larger file uploads
  • The ability to edit the document after upload, prior to sending
In Accounts Payable, we are required to have approvals for the payment of invoices. Having the ability to send those documents within seconds of receiving them to individuals off-site for a quick turn around is imperative. Having these signatures on the document instead of in an attachment makes it easy for the auditors to move on to the next task.

[Adobe Sign] is being used across multiple departments to facilitate paperless processes
  • Audit trail on documents is excellent
  • Template setup is easy but could be more intuitive
  • Customer support
  • Users/Groups configuration
  • Editing/managing templates and files
  • Downloading mega email responses is annoying
I use it extensively for new hire on-boarding and HR compliance documentation
Other departments use it in similar ways - the e-signature feature is very useful

Currently Adobe Sign is used mainly by our HR department, but our Product Management and Legal Departments sometimes use it as well. We currently use it in HR for all of our Onboarding Documents, including Offer Letters, Job Description Signatures, and Policy Signatures. Legal uses it at time[s] for policy signatures for some of our customers. Product Management does the same. It has addressed our needs of having a single place to send and receive HR-required signatures on our documents. It has allowed our team to work seamlessly without having to forward or send email updates.
  • It is very easy to set up documents to be sent to multiple signers.
  • It is very easy to take a normal document and edit it in Adobe Sign to include sign-able fields.
  • It is very helpful to receive confirmation emails when things are signed, and to be immediately provided with a signed copy and audit trail in those emails. It is great that we don't have to access the site each time to pull those things down.
  • We are often confused on the IT side, as employees will open a ticket stating a[n] Adobe Sign issue, but we come to find out that it is an issue through their Adobe Acrobat, not our Adobe Sign website. It has been confusing to explain the difference between the two.
Being that I'm in HR, I can say that any HR team would be better off using to this to streamline their policies, onboarding, and more. Anything that needs signatures (and by multiple parties), can be done very easily here. It [is] great that we can set up commonly-used "Sends" as well so that we don't need to repeat entering forms and signature lines.

Adobe Sign is being used district wide to process documents in a timely matter. With many workers and new hires working remotely during the pandemic, Adobe Sign has eliminated the need for paper/pen documentation. We are able to process invoices, POs, mileage etc using Adobe Sign.
  • Being able to send documents to be signed is especially helpful. Adobe Sign makes that very easy. If you have a document that requires a list of people that need to sign, it allows for that in a workflow.
  • I find it difficult to make corrections to a document in the Adobe Sign template library. Many documents are changing, but only one word or a section. It would be nice to be able to just edit the document template instead of having to recreate it.
We use Adobe Sign for new hires. All the paperwork that needs signing. Technology agreements, credit card statements, Invoices.etc The application works well in these situations.

We use Adobe Sign to quickly sign up future customers with estimates and contracts. It allows us to reach our customers fast and efficient. We are a small business without a lot of employees so this allows us to save time. The way it incorporates with other Adobe products makes it easy to use.
  • Easily repeats fields
  • Integrated with Adobe pdf
  • The resizing automatically function can be annoying.
  • Color coded options.
  • Make changes to document.
It is best suited for getting people to sign something quickly. In our line of business, sending someone a document to sign quickly makes for good business.

We are currently using Adobe Sign in a few ways across our organization. We onboard hundreds sometime thousands of new employees each week through our ATS system. Adobe Sign is integrated with that system to be able to easily send the needed information, pre-employment screenings and needed documentation directly to our new employees.

We are also using Adobe Sign for our contracting process. We use the Microsoft Teams integration to make the training and accessibility much more simple.
  • Easy to send documents.
  • Being able to create templates for reusable documents.
  • Third-party integrations.
  • Once we send a contract to a customer and they want to make adjustments, it is required that we create an entirely different document instead of being able to make adjustments and track the changes.
  • It would be nice to be able to customize [the] view more specifically, instead of just by the "Group" the user is a member of.
  • Having a notes tracking system that is more visible between the sender and receiver.
Adobe Sign is great for employee on boarding and sending secure documents/contracts to clients.

It is less useful if you are sharing documents that require collaboration or one persons sign off but multiple viewers.

Our graduate program includes a student internship opportunity that requires paperwork from school representatives, students, and internship sites. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, our department needed to transition from paper agreements to an e-sign program with the ability to legally track and ensure electronic signatures. Adobe Sign allowed us to collect signatures from all parties remotely. Our department is currently the only team in our organization that uses Adobe Sign.
  • For organizations that need to ensure the legal integrity of their documents, Adobe Sign tracks when each party opens and signs the document. When all parties have finished signing, the program creates a summary of IP addresses and signatures that is attached to the end of the document. The final PDF is protected and is not amendable afterward.
  • Adobe Sign is very user friendly and guides the signer through the document, indicating where to sign. Even users who are unfamiliar with the program find it easy to use.
  • Adobe Sign allows the sender to prefill and customize each form. This simplifies the signing process, since other signers are only able to sign in the spaces that have been assigned to them.
  • More transparency from Adobe regarding the number of documents included per package. Adobe regulates this by the number of "transactions" per package, but made it difficult to determine what constitutes a "transaction" (a document, or the number of times a document is signed?).
  • Better customer support. Attempts to clarify questions about the program were passed off between multiple phone lines within Adobe and calls were sometimes dropped.
  • One downside to Adobe Sign is that if someone makes a mistake on a form, it cannot be unlocked or amended (a new document/transaction must be used). I understand that this is to protect the legal integrity of the document, but this can be inconvenient.
Adobe Sign is great for any work setting where documents with multiple signatures are required, especially when the signing process must be completed remotely. This program is recommended for organizations that need to ensure the legal integrity of documents since it provides a variety of security tools.

Organizations that do not have many agreements to sign each year and that do not need the added legal/security devices may find other e-sign products to be more beneficial and less expensive.

We use Adobe Sign across our entire organization. My team uses it to collect signatures from students we support. Students review and sign Release of Information documents which gives us permission to work with their school on their behalf should a situation arise where that would be needed. We also have them complete gift card recipient acknowledgement forms for accounting auditing purposes if they receive a gift card through a drawing that we're doing.
  • More affordable than other esignature solutions (i.e. DocuSign)
  • Brand / name recognition - people trust Adobe and generally know what it is
  • Once you know how to use it, it's pretty easy to send documents out for signature
  • Reporting functionality - I find the reporting functionality to be pretty bad within Adobe Sign
  • Integration with Salesforce - it was not easy to integrate our Adobe Sign account with Salesforce. We had to hire an outside consultant to set it up and it's still pretty clunky.
  • The way the email looks to the recipient - they have to click one small link in the email to be taken to their document. This is a mistake as far as I'm concerned. There should be lots of ways to click through from the email to the document they are being asked to review and sign.
It's good for contract signing (removes the need to print, sign, scan and email back) especially when multiple signers are required. This is one of Adobe Sign's best functions - to have multiple signers receive, sign and return it to the sender. Once it's integrated with Salesforce, it's also pretty easy to send out documents to individuals one by one. (Groups are harder).

We use Adobe Sign across our entire organization. It is very useful for signing contracts, NDAs, any pretty much anything else that requires a signature. It is very easy to use and integrates nicely into other apps that we use. It solves the problem of, "how do i sign this" and "who signs this and how do I get it to them".
  • Easy to use
  • Works great
  • Adobe is a trusted name in the business
  • User management needs work
  • Expensive
  • Generates a lot of emails
Adobe Sign is great if your business signs a ton of documents. It is great if you have a lot of people who talk to a lot of clients that need a lot of signatures. The process for requesting signatures is seamless. I wouldn't use it if you/your company sign documents infrequently

We use Adobe Sign for contract routing, employee reimbursement, credit card purchase request. It is currently being used across the university. It helps with the tracking of documents, through the approvals of several departments. Since Covid-19, our use has dramatically increased as it allows for an electronic process where in the past it was paper.
  • Tracking of all actions on a document.
  • Daily emails when approvals are pending.
  • Being able to attach notes or comments, which will be seen by all parties.

We use Adobe Sign to have our employees sign job offers, employment documents, training records, etc. We also have our customers use it to fill out first-time forms and access those on their own devices. We use it across our organization so that time is not wasted tracking an individual for an in person signature. It has been very helpful with work from home.
  • Adobe Sign is great with notification - we like to know if something has been received, signed.
  • Their platform is very straightforward and easy to use.
  • Adobe Sign is very versatile and can be used for a range of documents.
  • I wish I could edit who I was sending it for once the document has been created.
  • I wish the suggested formatting recognized more blanks in a document.
  • I wish that multiple people could have admin access.
Adobe Sign is perfect for any business that needs signature on pretty much on kind of document. You can use it to complete forms, to sign documents, to make offers, close on your mortgage - Just about anything! The only reason I can see that you wouldn't use it for is if you prefer handling paper for everything or where you may not need to transfer any type of document.

It's used in the whole entire organization, to execute contracts that need to be signed by multiple parties (internally and externally). Sometimes we have vendors that send us agreements to sign on Adobe Sign, and sometimes we use Adobe Sign internally when we have an agreement that needs to be acknowledged among different departments.
  • It feels very safe and confidential.
  • I like that you can choose a signature.
  • It's good to track accountability (who hasn't signed yet?).
  • Sometimes it can be hard to navigate, since there are so many options of what to do.
  • It will be nice if there is a "lite" version for those more technologically challenged, where all they have to do is open it, select "sign/not sign/amend," and possibly a comments box - that's it.
  • Make it more compatible with other apps.
It's well suited for formal agreements involving exchange of money/goods/services. It is also well suited for the business environment, where one is working with so many different companies from different backgrounds. Adobe is also global enough that it usually isn't a big lift to ask everyone to be on Adobe apps.

I have used Adobe Sign for about 10 years and it has saved significant time for me. I prefer to save all documents electronically and many of them need to be signed. Adobe Sign is so much faster than printing, signing, and scanning.
  • Adobe Sign makes it so easy to create and apply your signature.
  • The older version of Adobe Sign took a little time to set up but the newer versions have made it much quicker and easier.
Almost all emailed documents that require signatures are PDF files. Signing those with Adobe Sign is awesome. The only time I’d use another electronic signing option is when the request is sent via another electronic signing platform.

We use this company wide to manage discipline forms, changes in payroll or position status, as well as contracts with local police and other companies. • Very easy to use
  • Compatible with mobile
  • Management side is easy
  • Setup of new forms can take a while
  • Training of staff can take some time
This works really well for forms that are completed frequently and ones that are quite standard in nature. In tech consulting, we often onboard several partners per engagement. These partners are sometimes a mix of domestic and offshore and this helps to unify the logistical process of collecting and signing all necessary documents that are needed either by our organization our our clients. I have seen an otherwise painful process become more streamlined.
  • Workflow notifications is very valuable as often folks are multitasking
  • Aahdar signature for offshore teams, especially important for clients in the field of sensitive data
  • Color coding needs to be tested for folks with visual impairments and red/green color blindness
We have several clients who deal with sensitive personal and company data, whose customers range from Fortune 500 to startups. We are using it for secure, encrypted signatures on foundational enrollment documents as well as large distributions of occassional documents that still need to be signed.
  • Being able to run a report to csv for all fields is fantastic.
  • The interplay between Acrobat and Sign is vital.
  • Copy/paste for fields in signatures would be better if they defaulted to a new name instead of a copied name. That would allow for better csv reports after signatures have been applied.
  • Some merge fields would be a big help, allowing us to automatically complete some fields without forcing users to input data we already captured. if those merged fields could remain editable, that would be even better.
  • Linking signatories into groups so that one member can sign for all would be a helpful feature for megasign.
  • I can still access an editable version of the form through the webpage after it has been signed. I would feel better if it was more secure.
  • 300 has a cutoff for megasign is annoying as our list of households is usually around 160 and so we just exceed that limit.

  • Sorting them once they have returned.
  • We use to be able to see if they have looked at them on initial screen now we have to go into the file to verify.
