Adobe Social is used to schedule social posts for our client. Client is able to approve the post and leave comments through Adobe Social before posts are scheduled. It is only being used by the Social Media team and the Social Analytics team. It addresses the problem of client approval for social posts and the ability to schedule posts.
  • The approval process for posts is very straightforward.
  • If permissions are properly set up, it is very easy to write and schedule most types of posts.
  • The ability to set up custom moderation feeds is great.
  • It would be great if Adobe scheduled video uploads for Twitter.
  • A time change in a social post automatically puts the post back to Level 1 of approvals. It can be a big hassle to have to start the process over for such a small change.
  • Adobe uses a different algorithm to measure engagement our company does. It would be great to upload your own algorithm into Adobe.
Adobe Social is well suited for writing and scheduling most posts. It's less appropriate for Twitter video and social analytics depending on the needs of your client. Other products worth looking at are Hootsuite or Sprout Social.

Our company selected Adobe Social for a way to have social posts be approved by managers and client before approval. It is very good in this arena. It terms of moderation, Hootsuite Pro is much more streamlined of a view and the analytics are more usable.
  • Scheduling posts for client approval has streamlined our process.
  • The inability to schedule video posts on Twitter has created extra work at times for Community Managers.
  • The analytics portion is hardly used anymore due to different algorithms, not a great return on investment.
  • Moderation through Adobe gives us a great way to keep track of engaged users on our pages.
Yes
We replaced Buddy Media with Adobe Social because of Adobe's ability to tag and integrate with other Adobe products currently being used.

Adobe Social was great for our needs. Analytics, tagging, and tracking CMs were excellent features for us. Post scheduling and approvals all in one program were factors as well.
We may look into the different types of posts that can be published through Adobe Social as well as it's limitations with response management and real time listening.
