We use Adobe Stock to source high-quality photos for our graphic design projects. The photos from Adobe are creative, a wide variety, inclusive, and diverse. We are really happy with Adobe Stock, especially for the price. I love that you can download a preview and use it in the design first. But really it's the variety and quality that keep us coming back to Adobe Stock.
  • Wide variety.
  • Creative.
  • Modern.
  • On-trend.
  • Inclusive.
  • Diverse.
  • Inspirational.
  • Exciting.
  • Feels natural not staged.
  • I would like to have the ability to search by only vector, or only photo. These are standard on all other stock platforms I use but I don't know why Adobe lacks these search parameters. Or if they are there, it's not intuitive.
We search on Adobe Stock for any time a stock photo or illustration is needed. The price is great with the subscription and with the credits rolling over so you don't miss out. We use it in websites, packaging, marketing materials, and more. I'm really enjoying the variety and the modern and creative images they offer.

We use the Adobe programs for design purposes within our organization. This includes logo design, print and promotional pieces, etc.
  • Simple sign in
  • Easy end production process
  • Consistent format
  • File sharing
  • Cloud saving
  • Less technical malfunctions
Adobe is still used widely for print purposes, but for web based design, newer products like Sketch are faster, more fluid and have less technical issues

We use Adobe Stock for interesting and thematic images for our training materials. It looks like our content was made custom for our workbooks - even though it wasn't. It gives us a more professional look, but there are options outside of the typical, "stock-y" and "corporate" images all of our competitors use. We also use Adobe Stock for our calendars we gift to clients and employees each year. It's a highly anticipated calendar as we change the theme each year - and are never lacking in inspiration or options.
  • Robust image filtering & matching
  • Keyword searches are very helpful/accurate
  • Full size previews available for download so you can check quality before buying
  • Saved Library folders could be easier to navigate - lots of wait time and reloading for no reason, etc. before being able to select what you actually want to open
Adobe Stock is well suited for calendars, training materials, marketing materials (with correct permissions paid/credit given). It's a convenient and affordable way to look professional without creating/funding the content yourself. The filtering and search functions make it so simple to use. The licensing options are very clear and easy to understand. We never seem to be lacking options with Adobe Stock.

We use Adobe Stock as the main source to get our images and videos. It is very useful and we can find any kind of image there. We use them for communications and advertising purposes. Their search engine is good and it helps you find the most accurate image.
  • Search engine
  • Thousand options
  • Good price for value
  • More specifications on usage of the images.
  • Search engine is good but could be better.
  • Search engine in Spanish.
It is great to work on digital advertising and find footage and images without having to shoot them yourself or hire a photographer ad hoc. Sometimes it is a bit hard to find the perfect image but as long as you are creative with the words you look for, try different combinations and spend some time, you'll get a good image to illustrate your work.

Adobe Stock helps you find images of high quality at a price. The images are good because of their high resolution, massive variety, and strict standards. They are free of common defects like poor lighting. We want to use the images for making digital and paper flyers. Search is good, and it is easy to see your history in case you need to download your pictures again. The files are large in size which takes care of the blurry pictures found in low-resolution images. The selection of images is ideal for big events where you want to attract a lot of attention. There are many images available on Google search, but Adobe Stock filters out the common and boring images which are unique to their platform.
  • Search
  • Easy to redownload previous images
  • Wide selection of images
  • Price
  • More Free pictures
If price is not a big deal, then Adobe Stock has an attractive collection of diverse images. They also have an easy-to-use website and dashboard. It would be better if they offered an integrated photo editor and convertor for the images. The option to download a preview before buying a license is helpful to see the fine details of the pictures. The competition for companies providing images is intense. So there are a lot of choices.

Adobe Stock allows designers in my company to use vector and stock imagery to create digital content with ease and efficiency. This product has been helpful in providing resources that allow designers to manipulate and iterate off of pre-existing creativity in order to satisfy specific design requests. It is easy to use, and there is a large bank of creative assets available.
  • Provides a large inventory of creative assets, both stock and vector.
  • Allows assets to be purchased, and then synced with CC libraries.
  • Optimizes user-experience and search.
  • Stock imagery inventory doesn't seem to be as robust as Getty's.
  • Sometimes I come across stock imagery that is very dated.
Adobe Stock is a good alternative to Getty. Although I sometimes find their stock imagery options to be limited, I do appreciate how well purchases can be integrated into CC libraries. As a designer, it is helpful to use Adobe Stock for pulling vectors and imagery to enhance or inspire my work.

In my last organization, the main people in the business that used the software were myself and the design team. we had lots of issues particularity with search tool drop down menus. The new abode stock addresses this very easily as it has much more of these. i like the extra long landscape size in particular.

  • Drop down menus
  • Image lay out
  • Creating templates
  • Typekit
  • Cancel window cost
  • Not like photoshop
  • Subscription timing
It's a great software for images to use as headers. The backgrounds on websites are also great. A particular issue for me however is the way that you cannot uncheck a box, it makes you clear them all which is very irritating. This makes you have to reselect all again which I do not like.

We use Adobe Stock in combination with our own stock imagery in situations where our own images are not suitable, or there is a gap in content (where we need a particular type of image and we don't have one readily available in our own stock library). The images are used in marketing campaigns, internal promotions, and technology drives to illustrate our core values plus demonstrate how our products benefit our customers.
  • Thousands of images to choose from.
  • Easy to use filters to narrow down search.
  • Easy to use and navigate UI.
  • Reverse functionality: Currently you can expand keyword tags but not collapse them.
  • Add text to icon buttons: it's difficult to know what the icons represent as there is no hover text or tooltip.
  • Increase font size for small text: currently small text is not accessible for those who are visually impaired.
Adobe Stock is fantastic for internal promotional campaigns where you need a certain image but your internal company library of images is lacking. It's also great for use on internal websites (intranet) for banners and other illustrative imagery. It would be less appropriate for large-scale, public-facing marketing campaigns depending on company policy.

I use Adobe Stock to find images for sales and marketing collateral, client presentations and proposals, company websites, social media pages, graphics, and more. We represent four different industries, so finding quality images to reflect our ideal clients are key to conveying a professional image in our client-facing materials.
  • Professional images.
  • Quality images.
  • Variety of images.
  • Various angles and versions of same image.
  • Less foreign images and more United States, American images.
  • No option to filter out European images of vehicles.
  • More images of vehicles and different types.
If you're looking for quality professional images for sales and marketing collateral, presentations, social media pages, and graphics, it's great. If you have a very specific industry or subject, sometimes it is too cumbersome to find what you need. They need a better variety of people in their images as well.

I use this often to create visually compelling presentations which include strategic enablements, training, guides, and business cases as well as thought leadership.
  • Depth of selection of images.
  • Variety of images from which to filter.
  • Solid blend of free vs paid options.
  • Some categories could use more options of paid vs. free images.
  • Enhanced tagging of images.
Very well suited to create anything that has a visual need including strategic enablements, training, guides, and business cases as well as thought leadership.

I create videos and graphics for the Athletic program at an NCAA Division II University. I regularly need stock photos and templates for special graphics and unique content. Adobe Stock provides what we need for the occasion. Adobe has a wide range of images, backgrounds, templates, and even short videos that perfectly fit any desired use.
  • Stock Images
  • Backgrounds
  • Stock Video
  • Better ways to search for specific items
  • More detailed tagging
  • Even more categories
Any time you are doing a project where you don't have the time to create your own backgrounds or are unable to get talent for a photoshoot, Adobe Stock is the best way to handle those rough deadlines. Even some of the simple stock images or videos can make a difference from trying to do it all on your own.

We are a large publisher that needs a variety of specific photography. We were getting contacted by various other publishers after re-using their images that need to be taken down and then we also were having trouble finding what we needed from free apps like Unsplash or others. We needed a large library that we could afford and Adobe Stock provided exactly that for us.
  • Easy Browsing/Search
  • Great Photography
  • Ability to take requests/feedback for new pictures.
  • Ability to integrate directly into CMS's like WordPress.
If you're a website or social brand that needs reliable and high-quality photography of general things such as air purifiers, mops, blankets, life jackets, etc. then Adobe Stock is the right fit for you. If you're looking for a specific brand or product to feature, you might have to pay extra for their premium content or look for the photos somewhere else.

My team regularly needs high-quality imagery for product packaging and marketing materials, and we need a high volume of said imagery due to the significant amount of in-house design work on a very tight schedule that rarely gives us time to create new illustrations from scratch or do on-site photography. Adobe Stock allows us access to a large library of high-quality royalty-free photography vector illustrations so that we can easily create our designs in a timely fashion at the level of quality we need without worrying about copyright infringement.
  • Large library of photography
  • High quality vector graphics
  • Integration with other Adobe products
  • More obscure search terms (objects, locations) have very few images available
  • Some images featuring people look incredibly staged and fake
  • Military imagery largely out of date as far as uniforms
Adobe Stock is perfect for any situation where you need more general photos, graphics, or specific items/locations that are common. Family imagery, outdoor photos, popular tourist locations, and fairly iconography for vectors like web icons. It's less useful if you need imagery of something more obscure, like a landmark in a less populated country or any sort of uniformed profession represented accurately.

We need options for stock photography that cover all the demographics we target. Multiple people use the account and are able to download comps for proofs and then final images once approved. Adobe Stock gives us the ability to compare multiple images in a piece and then finalize it once the client approves it. What’s really nice and stands out from other stock sites, is the ability to open an image directly in Photoshop or InDesign and start using the image immediately.
  • stock photos
  • ease of use
  • integration with other Adobe products
  • Healthcare photos not always accurate
  • Some images look overly staged
  • Difficult to add multiple users to same account
We've had good luck finding appropriate images in the healthcare industry. It can be a challenge to find the right images that accurately depict healthcare scenarios and also include diverse people and situations. Adobe Stock has a large collection of images that, so far, have suited our needs well. We have found images that aren’t completely accurate (nurse giving a vaccine without wearing gloves, for example), but that seems to be the case for most stock sites.

We use Adobe Stock in our organization to promote our business online, on Instagram, and elsewhere. Though I'm not a good designer, I'm trained in graphics and was a proxy when our designer was absent. We use featured images on our websites that we take ourselves or find. As a creative cloud user and small business that uses Adobe, I love Adobe Stock because I can get licensed photos without worrying about copyright and ownership. Many different things can assist us in developing our creative abilities. Our SEO specialists can find images representing our content without a full-time graphic designer. It helps me find vectors, backgrounds, and other scalable design elements for nonprofits, like the thrift store flyers I'm designing now. There's a never-ending supply of stock photos, so subscribe.
  • Production is sped up.
  • Adobe has the best stock photos.
  • It quickly professionalizes content.
  • There is a great range of creative photos.
  • Reasonable price and endless selection.
  • Finding the right image takes time.
  • The photo collection isn't as unique as others.
  • It needs more audio, video, and better resolutions.
Adobe Stock speeds up the production of online, offline (print), video, and static marketing materials (photo). We can download vector graphics, textures, backgrounds, patterns, photos, and videos for a small fee. Our imaginations are as limitless as the possibilities we can think up. The content quality and the search engine's accuracy are generally excellent. All Adobe Stock images are unique and rarely used. Its search feature is also great for quickly finding images.

Our team uses Adobe Stock every single day for a wide variety of communications materials supporting different departments and aimed at different audiences. I would not say that Adobe Stock addresses business problems as much as it provides a reliable tool for our standard regimen of activities and affairs. It provides the graphics we use for our daily social media posts, trade show collateral, business and social event invitations, internal newsletters, external outreach for business development and talent acquisition, etc. If we need a visual for anything and our graphic designers are tasked to make it, they find the artwork on Adobe. It's also what we turn to when we need to brainstorm ideas for big-picture campaigns and long-term branding.
  • Presents a huge collection of distinctive graphics with all sorts of options to fit the user's particular need of the day.
  • Allows for easy grab-and-go, cut-and-paste of the sample proofs so that a graphic designer can work up an idea and present it to the team before purchasing it.
  • Operates a user-friendly platform so that team members who haven't used the program but is suddenly needed to jump in on a project can figure it out quickly.
  • More pictures that are relevant to particular industries, businesses, and teams. This would include fields like cybersecurity and software engineering where images of technology should be completely up-to-date and intriguing to catch this elite tech professional's eye and not just look like a stock photo that might dazzle any ol' onlooker.
  • A little more depth in the models chosen for the graphics involving people. Perhaps more expressions on their faces or more finesse in the style they're dressed or holding themselves. Sometimes the models look very unnatural and it's hard for us to use them as a general reflection of our brand and our team, which is very serious work but also very chill personalities.
  • This would probably involve some evolution of technology but it'd be really neat if there were ways the graphic designer could play around with the stock photo in an easier way and move certain parts of the image around or swap in other images so that it all looks like one cohesive shot. You can do it a little now but it'd be great if you could "bend" or "flex" what's there to manipulate it, rather than removing it, covering it, blurring it, etc.
Well suited for background images and graphics where you want to channel an idea or theme that is known to the general population, e.g., a football field for a social media post related to a company fantasy league or a child holding crayons to promote a donation drive for local schools in need. Where it is less appropriate are images involving people and it's not necessarily Adobe's fault but it's very hard when you consider "your people" unique and want to reflect them in a way that feels genuine when you're creating graphics to represent your company. Many of the best shot set-ups and styles for pictures involving people that Adobe creates have people in them who just don't look like "our people."

Adobe Stock has a large collection of high-resolution images, graphics and vector arts, video footage, and more that are royalty-free. Adobe Stock offers a subscription-based model which offers a certain number of credits each month that can be redeemed on the images, graphics, etc. with a standard license. Apart from this, direct purchases can be made with the standard and extended licenses based on the need.
  • High-resolution and high-quality images and graphics: The resolution of the images on Adobe Stock is high and can be used for various purposes from marketing to printing.
  • Standard and Extended Licenses: Based on the need the user can choose what kind of license of the image has to be taken. Extended License on images offers additional permissions such as printing on merchandise, unlimited use for marketing and web, etc.
  • Exclusive Videos: Many of the videos available on Adobe Stock are exclusive to the platform and can not be found elsewhere. These videos are of various categories.
  • More additions to the illustrations and vector arts section of Adobe Stock.
  • Some great images are only available for editorial use, so a provision for use of those images in other categories to made available without the need of contacting the author manually.
Adobe Stock is well suited and appropriate for the below-listed scenarios: 1. Brands/businesses looking for a royalty-free stock image solution with a subscription-based model instead of a pay-per-image model. 2. Brands/businesses looking to get access to some of the great and exclusive videos available for licensing on Adobe Stock; similar videos can not be found on any other platform. 3. Anyone looking for the various other offerings of Adobe Stock like graphics, illustrations, vector art, music, templates, fonts, etc.

In my organization it is used to extract images, videos, and illustrations, and use them in different marketing and advertising campaigns, the problems it addresses are the lack of creativity to create advertising campaigns, lack of budget to access photographs, their scope of use as we have already mentioned is to generate advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • variety of images
  • video quality
  • Excellent 3D resources
  • more comfortable prices
  • add videos in the subscription of 29 euros
  • more sources
It is very suitable in scenarios in which any type of company needs to generate an advertising and marketing campaign that attracts more customers, it is also quite suitable in scenarios in which a company that is just beginning to operate can use images, videos, illustrations, etc. to advertise in a more economical way, in a less suitable scenario we have advertising companies that use Adobe Stock deceiving their customers with high prices

Our company uses Adobe Stock to help add high-quality images and videos to many of our documents and reports for both internal and external use.
  • High quality images
  • High quality vidoes
  • Ease of use
  • Customer service
  • Ability to modify images
Adobe Stock works really well when there is a specific image that is needed. Adobe Stock has the ability to grab and modify at a high quality and in numerous forms. It also has the ability to handle videos that use large amounts of data and works seamlessly to produce good quality.

We use Adobe Stock to find pictures to use as featured images for the informational content pages on our websites. We do not have a full-time graphic designer, so Adobe Stock allows our SEO Specialists to find pictures that still represent our content without needing graphic design experience.
  • Very user friendly.
  • Wide variety of photos to choose from.
  • Keeps track of previously licensed photos.
  • Difficult to add multiple users.
  • Search results aren't always relevant.
  • There are a lot of repetitive photos in the same series.
Adobe Stock works great when looking for a generic image that is easy to optimize. This is a great program for those with little graphic design experience. For those looking for more custom images, they may need some design experience in order to change the photos to suit the specific needs of your company.

Adobe Stock is an easy way for anyone who doesn't have the budget for photoshoots/ops to incorporate photos into marketing material. It's also a good resource for vectors and backgrounds and the like (a budget Envato marketplace). The basic plan is reasonably priced with limited licenses per month, but the ability to download (watermarked) previews offset that. You just have to know what you need before you download.
  • Easy search function
  • Good quality resources
  • Relatively wide variety
  • Most photos are obviously stock.
  • So popular that some stock photo series are extremely used/recognizable as stock photos.
  • Medical photos tend to have a lot of inaccuracies.
Adobe Stock will work for most people or businesses that need photos and graphics/resources to pull from. They have pretty good lifestyle photos for everything you could possibly need, as well as backgrounds that can be easily converted to advertisements or holiday promotions. Overall a really solid, budget-friendly resource for people in marketing or design.

As a book publisher, we rely on stock imagery quite a bit to comp book covers. We'll often compile multiple stock images to create a visual that matches the vision of the author and our marketing teams. Considering the fact that custom illustrations - and most certainly specialized photo shoots for various items can be cost-prohibitive, stock imagery is a necessary go-to for the creation of new creative elements.
  • Excellent variety of creative photos.
  • They provide a nice selection of high quality vector illustrations.
  • Good keyword-search capabilities.
  • It's nice to be able to see other photos from the same collections without having to search deeply.
  • Their licensing is simple and covers almost every need.
  • I really do wish Adobe Stock would offer editorial-based content. There are no historical photos, photos of world figures, or other event-based content. We have to go to Getty for that.
  • Their video offerings are OK, but there is room for improvement.
  • The current enter-level monthly plan does not provide for any video downloads at all.
If you are in need of photos of public figures (as we often are considering we publish a large number of historical and political books), then Adobe Stock is a complete mismatch. You will not find photos of world leaders, historic events, or current newsmakers. However, from a strictly creative standpoint, they provide an excellent variety of good building blocks to create visuals for comped scenes that are created from ideas.

We use the site a lot for the imagery we need in the branding we do. I personally use it probably several times a week. These days most clients do not want t pay for a photo shoot, so using stock from this site is more affordable for them. Most times there is a very good selection of photos (tho not always).
  • Provides imagery needed to express a brand.
  • Makes searching easy.
  • With the subscription it makes billing very easy.
  • Would like to see more "real peopLe" photos. stock imagery tends to look posed and we want candid shots.
For basic imagery, there is a good selection. However, when you need very specific photos and photos that look non-posed, sometimes it can be difficult to find what you need.

We used Adobe Stock to create collaged graphics and gifs to use within a learning app. The stock had to be fully cleared for use on a niche space and brought in a quantity of 500+ separate pieces, so we used a number of sites with our graphic designers including Adobe Stock for when searching for these pieces.
  • Customer Service
  • Scale of content
  • Scope of content
  • Functionality with sharing
  • Website was a little clunky
Our company was creating collage-style gifs and graphics for an app, which required a LOT of stock footage. Adobe was perfectly suited for our business needs because we had access to their customer service. It meant that we had someone we could talk to consistently when checking what licenses we needed during purchasing. However, there was a fair bit of back and forth because the website info wasn't as digestible as it could have been. Adobe Stock also has a tendency to be the more expensive option on the market, but in return, you get some great pieces of content.
