My instructor as amazing and very knowledgeable. My instructor kept my attention and made sure that I understood each module before he moved on. No matter how many times I asked a question for clarification, he answered them. I've taken other instructor led training's before, I have to say that ADP made it easy
super easy to follow along. I loved that I was able to move along with the instructions without feeling overwhelmed and lost. Being able to go back as many times as I needed really helped when I was helping my co-workers stay on task with the training.I love that ADP
Since I've used other ADP products it was hard to navigate on my own. If you've used other ADP platforms, navigating this one will be just as easy. I found that ADP gave me the tools I needed to be success while learning the product on my own.
Support does exceed expectations most of the time. There have been a few times I've had to call back to have an issue resolved, however.

We lost power and was not able to finish transmitting our payrolls. We made one call and ADP stepped right in
ADP listened, took the feedback concerning the ease of use, and made the changes\updates needed to take ADP HCM to the next level.
This application will grow with your needs. No matter what your needs are, ADP HCM can and will handle it. As I said, they truly listened, took what their Clients had to say.
  • Easy- Reporting. I love the feature of "grabbing" the fields I need. This allows me to build the report I need\want without having to remember the exact name of the field.
  • Easy- Uploading. Uploading files into ADP could not be easier. Using a standard template, gives you the ease of knowing exactly what you need to enter.
  • Often we find that employees have a difficult time saving their W4 via Self-Service if they are not using Chrome.
  • Not enough places to save employee documents

Our entire organization uses ADP Vantage. Being a somewhat new employee, I am not sure what problems it has helped to address versus the platform we had prior to Vantage. I do like how it is easier to navigate about the site when hiring new employees, looking up information, etc.
  • I like the ability to create reports with the field grabber option.
  • New design is simple to use and understand.
  • Efficient
  • All fields are pretty self explanatory
  • It does tend to "freeze" occasionally, or buffers for seconds on end causing your site to log out.
  • Customization to your organizations needs is definitely limited.
  • More cons than pros.😕
Overall Vantage works and is easy to navigate through different fields. Creating reports is not too difficult as well. However, there are areas that may need improvement such as customization, & features offered by Vantage should actually be available to organizations.

We currently use Smart Compliance with Vantage. I'd say they even out as far as meeting our expectations.
I rate the support a strong 6. Our Payroll department does receive the support needed from ADP Vantage. However, the turn around can be a little swifter! We do value the assistance and guidance from our ADP Rep. We do have a great turn around with open tickets, now working with him.

I personally did not receive in-person training. I do know that person to person interaction is more efficient versus self taught and online training. The instructor can work at your pace, and you will be able to ask more questions to better understand the system and how it works. I also prefer in person training overall.
My rating remains neutral. Although I was new, i did receive some online training which somewhat helped me in learning the basics to accomplish the tasks needed.
If you are comfortable in exploring the site, then yes I do recommend this approach. However, if you are like me and prefer to be guided, then no this is not the best approach. Otherwise, you will not know what you are doing and may get confused with all the tabs, fields, etc. Also, I have a fear of causing systematic errors playing in different fields.

Have not really explored Vantage thoroughly. My rating may change over the next few weeks, months, etc. I have found pros and cons with the platform and once I adapt, I'm sure to find more benefits.
I remain neutral
I'd say the availability is about average, I have experienced outages and app errors, that may be a little frustrating when you are in the middle of a task or reports.
Pages do load pretty swiftly, and reports do not take too long. However, I have noticed that most reports become available sooner than some. Which if you are trying to process payroll, it may slow you down and tends to be time consuming when you're in a crunch.
