I use ADP to access any pay deposits to my account and reference my overall compensation plan. Very easy to use and has no issues at all. I have used their support desk and they’re very helpful as well. I would highly recommend using this ADP system with your workforce as well.

  • Longer support hours
  • Send out print updates
I find that it is well suited for my needs. No issues with using it. I would highly recommend using ADP for both professional and personal purposes as it is very handy on a laptop and mobile app as well. I have never had any issues using ADP at all.

Predominately, our organizaiton uses ADP Workforce as a way of managing time sheets. We are a national organization so we utilize this product for entering our time sheets, as well as inputting any time off requests. Additionally, we use ADP Workforce to manage and enroll into our benefits. Lastly, our personal information, such as addresses and numbers are located there and we edit our personal information via ADP Workforce.
  • Organization
  • Communication
  • Easy to Use
  • Poor user experience
  • Some links are not found where expected
  • Outdated website
ADP Workforce is an appropriate system to use for large businesses to manage their employee's personal information, time sheets, and time off, as well as benefits. For a larger company, predominately one that is national and remote, it is helpful to get in touch with HR matters via this service.

ADP is used by our associates and enables them to request vacation, obtain pay statements and T4 statements, access benefit information, and receive communication and links to important resources. This process was traditionally manual with paper statements, vacation manually inputted, etc. This has provided associates with a one-stop location for all the information they need and is accessible to associates on leave or who leave the company.
  • Helps you to manage vacation[.]
  • Benefit enrolment is simple and easy to follow[.]
  • Easy to update associate information to ensure they receive information they need[.]
  • Easy to track beneficiaries and dependents[.]
  • Easy to access documents like pay statements and T4s[.]
  • Was especially helpful during Covid-19 lockdown as we were able to communicate easily with associates throughout layoffs etc[.]
  • Allows us to modify branding for different divisions[.]
  • Robust reporting[.]
  • Toggling between English and French is complicated[.]
  • Defaults to [the] US even though we are based in Canada and profiles are created in Canada. This causes user issues[.]
  • Forgot username/password process doesn't always work easily and associates often require admin assistance when they need to update this information[.]
Very effective to give associates easy access to their documents, personal and [payment] information, vacation requests. Ideal in a retail environment with lots of associates from different divisions across the country. Suitable for our payroll and HR depts as it gives them easy access to information. Document cloud storage makes the onboarding process easier. I can't think of a scenario where it would be less appropriate offhand.

We use ADP Workforce now as our HCM/Payroll system. We combined a number of disparate systems to actively manage everything on 1 easy to use software platform. We now track time and attendance, process payroll, and manage benefits through ADP Workforce Now. Historically this was through 2 different systems (and manual paper processing).
  • Payroll processing
  • Time and Attendance
  • Benefits/401k
  • Time and Attendance
  • Features on phone app
  • Reporting
If you are looking to combine and manage all of your HR functions (from Benefits through Payroll) then ADP Workforce Now is a perfect solution. It also has additional modules that we aren't currently using (such as Performance Reviews). We will be implementing that in the next phase of our ADP solution.

I am an end-user of ADP Workforce Now; I use it primarily for things like entering PTO requests, quarterly and annual performance review feedback, paystub/W2 printouts, and to access internal links (i.e. benefits, company directory, handbook, etc.). It's a great central repository that allows users to access relevant information in a very easy way. Simple to navigate, easy to use.
  • Easily integrates with other platforms for seamless access
  • Straightforward UI
  • Great record of history (if you've been at previous organizations that leveraged ADP Workforce Now, you've got access to that info)
  • Certain areas are clunky (i.e. entering PTO over multiple days and using various types of PTO is a bit of trial and error)
  • The login process is a bit strange; wish it would integrate with the existing tech stack from a universal login perspective
  • Maybe push app usage a bit more; currently, not very many employees use the app
I'd recommend it for small to mid-sized org that are looking for a solution that is easy to use, has good, straightforward functionality, and is cost-effective. For enterprise org, I'd recommend a more robust solution (and maybe ADP offers that) with a lot more functionality. Again, I think it's a two-way street and the companies themselves need to be diligent about the type of content they put into ADP, the breadth/depth of it, and how often it gets updated.

We used ADP Workforce Now for our Employee onboarding, as well as our payroll processing, tax processing, and garnishment. Our workforce size varies seasonally due to our customer's demands, it averaged around Five Thousand total employees. ADP Workforce Now's integration of onboarding and Payroll is seamless. I could not complain about anything.
  • integration of onboarding
  • Payroll processing
  • Garnishment processing
  • Tax processing
  • ADP has issues handling uncommon situations
  • Adding of additional fields for Covid was unnecessarily cumbersome
  • Difficulty processing multiple company divisions with only one EIN
We used ADP Workforce Now for our Employee onboarding, as well as our payroll processing, tax processing, and garnishment. It is well suited for companies that want an easy-to-use off-shelf experience. Since our workforce size varied seasonally due to our customer's demands, we were constantly adding and removing employees. ADP Workforce Now's integration of onboarding and Payroll is seamless and is its main strength. ADP Workforce Now is not as well suited for custom integrations with other systems, we had some difficulties integrating our LMS and outside expense systems.

We used ADP Workforce Now for our payroll system and HRIS system. The payroll system is the best around! The payroll system is easy to use, up to date, and accurate. I loved having all the employee information at my fingertips and not buried in endless menus. ADP was extremely easy to work with. They keep their system and their knowledge current so you never need to worry about being compliant.
  • Taxes and filings.
  • Quarter and Year End processing (W2s, 941s, etc).
  • Updating employee information.
  • The Bridge and finding new information.
ADP WFN is great in the payroll/paycheck/tax. Their reporting has many great features and the reports easy to run and customize. Tax compliance and tax assistance is stellar. I never had problems with our taxes or being in compliance when we used ADP. They are an industry leader for that reason.

Porch Group uses the ADP workforce now to process payroll and related taxes, administer 401(K) benefits, capture time off requests, keep vacation balances, and act as a time card keeper for hourly employees. For employees, w-2 and pay stubs and any other tax-related document are housed in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Time Off.
  • Time Cards.
  • Documentation for employee taxes.
  • 401(K) benefit product selection.
  • 401(K) costs to the employee.
  • 401(k) ease of use of the product, it's just not as good as competitors (Guideline, HumanInterest).
I've seen Workforce now used in companies of only 10 and up to 1000 people. It seems to have the stretch and give to work in both large and small companies. If a company is too large or too specific in what they do I could see needed something that was more specific to the industry. ADP works well in a general sense for a majority of companies.

Our organization currently uses ADP Workforce to process and manage payroll and HR operations for our employees. We run bi-monthly payroll for our employees and third-party contractors. Employees have access to their paystubs, vacation time, sick time, etc. all through the ADP app. Operations within this platform run smoothly and are as simple as any payroll software that I've used.
  • Simple payroll administration.
  • Generation of monthly payroll reports.
  • Employee access to digital payroll records.
  • Comprehensive HR solution.
  • A greater variety of packages (i.e. tiered pricing for smaller organizations).
  • Interactive training opportunities.
  • More communication between organization representatives and end users.
Well suited If you are new to the HR world this software package is a breeze to start using. No detailed onboarding or training is required. Less appropriate If your organization is rather small, the comprehensive solutions provided by ADP might not be a great fit. The costs of the software are not insignificant.

We use ADP Workforce to help our employees access their paychecks and 401k information. With so many things out there we have found ADP to be the easiest to use and to extract data from when needed. With desktop and mobile solutions, it's hard to find a more user-friendly tool.
  • Access.
  • Printability.
  • Mobile Friendly.
  • Easier Login.
ADP Workforce is a great tool to use for your staff to track their pay and other sensitive items. Just make sure you have your login saved because resetting can be a nightmare.

I use Workforce ADP Now to support annual evaluations, set goals and objectives, monitor time-off requests, vacation time, holiday schedules, storage bank for documents and certificates for my staff, work schedules, HR resources, supporting a communal message board to my team, use as a two-way communication with my staff, ADP supports our storage of company documents that govern our organization, we use it to support our community contracts.
  • Tracking time off.
  • Storing documents.
  • Easily accessible and to use.
  • Customizable to meet my need.
  • I will need to check, but we have a staff that speaks Arabic and I am not sure if that is an option in ADP to translate in.
  • Being able to batch previous certificates would be helpful by year.
  • Attach a summary page for an at a glance look at all times staff has available to them.
ADP Workforce Now is well suited for many organizations. What I appreciate about ADP is they are always working on continuous improvement which is near and dear to our mission and vision. Providing and accepting suggestions is a huge strength and when using a management system you want that two-way communication so that your company's needs are met as you grow and change. I really appreciate that. ADP can be used in settings that engage educators, business personnel at any level, and is great for both mom and pop shops as well as large corporations. There is no limit to public or private use when considering this management system!

ADP WFN is being used across the entire organization in the US. It is being used for HR, benefits, time and attendance, and performance management.
  • It is easy to navigate and is date driven so you can review entries when change was made.
  • It is a one-stop-shop for all HR needs.
  • Upgrades should be fully tested before being released so as to provide minimal impact when published and have a cut off time for release. No upgrades should be released as the end of the calendar year approaches as there is enough going on with closing out the year and to avoid any disruption with the WFN platform.
ADP WFN has the functionality for HR and payroll processing. It would be beneficial if Canada could be incorporated on the same platform for processing. That scenario would be ideal!

We use ADP for the following activities. 1 Payroll 2 Employee Reviews and Goals 3. Attendance and Calendar 4. Benefits Dashboard 5. Employee communications 6. Copensentation management 7. Data Import/Export
  • The phone app works so well I don't want to use the Web app
  • Payroll
  • Employee calendar
  • Employee reviews are cumbersome and the screen isn't intuitive
  • Goals management is the same not intuitive
  • The general interface takes too long to learn especially when you only use it 4-5 times a month.
  • Email notifications don't have links to open ADP Workforce
Mostly due to the reason I posted for improvements. Also, getting data exports from ADP is difficult to automata and typically requires support. ADP support isn't always helpful.

We use ADP Workforce Now for our whole organization. Before we used it, our payroll, scheduling, PTO, and benefits were all on different platforms. Having them all accessible in one place has been the best-addressed problem. Giving our employees access to their employment information has improved relations between our corporate level and entry levels.
  • Recruitment.
  • Time Off mangement.
  • Department schedule budget planning.
  • Recruitment application flow.
What ADP Workforce Now offers is very helpful. The drawbacks are how it functions from an IT perspective. The system can get bogged down and stop working. In order to correct these issues, I have had to clear my cookies and data on a daily basis then log in and out to have the program work.

I attempted to review my paystubs. Unfortunately, ADP has poor customer support. No ability to talk to a person. And they have taken over 60 days to allow me access to see my paystubs. Things are still not correct. They have been a big waste of time.
  • Nothing.
  • Having their software work.
  • Customer Service, especially directly to the person affected.
  • Did I say having any support? That is correct they refuse to talk to employees whom they do not support. :(

We have all our employee's private information stored in a single easy-to-access program. We also have all the benefits information we need to reflect Desjardin's benefits system. We use the WFN platform and have added on the Onboarding and Document Cloud features. We will be sending off our employee files soon for digitalization so I can't speak to the Cloud features as of now. If it promises what they say, we should be happy & more effective paper-free.
  • Honestly, I can't think of one thing they do well and that it no exaggeration.
  • Performance Mgmt product is terrible - not at all user friendly so we outsourced to another vendor.
  • Calibration tools would be excellent as we have to manually do this function during our annual performance reviews.
  • Silly updates, like new dashboards, are continually rolled out, which are senseless when they have much larger issues to fix with compensation particularly.
I wish I knew how many times I've called ADP representatives for help with a myriad of issues - hold times can be an hour or longer, and when your call is answered they either 1) transfer you to another department or 2) say they don't know and to submit a ticket in the portal. The ticket issue is laughable, as they do not have a sense of urgency in getting in touch with any sort of assistance so I usually just go it alone - our payroll dept feels the same.
