It is currently being used company wide. It helps us manage employees with new hire process and also assist in each employee to see their status and to make changes to their personal information. It can be used to delegate jobs and to manage employee profiles for quick access.
  • New hire process
  • Employee can update tax info
  • Onboarding process
  • No issues at this time
  • Easy access by phone to make changes
It creates an organizational chart of employees and who they report to. The employee can log onto their own page and make the changes to taxes, address or check paystub where before the employee always came to the Manager and we had to do this which took time to process.

We use it to onboard our new hires, keep track of time clock functions, and run payroll. It does allow us the convenience of having one program to assist with all of these functions.
  • It makes onboarding a new employee simple while eliminating paper copies of everything
  • Reviewing time card punches is streamlined and easily fixed when there is a mistake
  • I appreciate all of the training on the program there is available.
  • Sometimes, it is difficult for new hires to use the program to enter the information
  • Time clock functionality is oftentimes down during the time of day we need it most
  • Would like some sort of time clock option that allows non-management associates to be able to check their time clock punches for the day and correct them on the spot.
For the most point, ADP Workforce Now is a fairly user-friendly program but it is also frustrating when it doesn't function as we would like it to.

  • Customizeable
  • Learning Tools
  • Our account managers keep getting promoted and we continually have to get used to someone new.
We made Workforce now our primary product and use ADP for virtually everything. We do not have any complaints.

We used ADP Workforce Now across our whole organization. We use the time & attendance for payroll to track all our staff's clock in and out, time off requests as well as HR/ benefit module.
  • Assigned each organization to an Account Manager to help resolve issues
  • Great support help all online instead of calling in and talking to someone
  • Easy navigation in ADP
  • New screen layout for manual checks, too much data displayed on the screen
  • Better communication if there is any system problem instead of searching through the bridge for issue
  • Too many updates
ADP is well suited for large companies who need the extra help for time keeping, tax filing and corrections for audit purposes. Great support system.

ADP Workforce Now is being used by the Payroll team to process payroll for multiple companies. In addition, we make use of the tax services and benefits module. It simplifies the payroll process and helps ensure the employee benefits are assigned correctly. In addition, it saves time by completing quarterly filings and annual employee tax documents.
  • Tax accuracy
  • Payment accuracy
  • API integrations
  • Customer service responsiveness
  • Amendment filing speed
  • Local tax compliance updates
I'd say this product is great for companies from 100-2,500 employees. Less than 100 the cost is likely not worth the benefit and over 2,500 some of the features may not scale as well.

We currently use the system for housing employee information globally, but processing US payroll, compliance, benefits, and performance management (annual reviews). It is used by Human Resources, payroll, employees, and managers. Employees are able to have self service globally which is helpful.
  • Data automation
  • US Payroll
  • Compliance
  • Would love for the system to be global so we could process payroll globally and administer benefits globally
  • Would love to see an update to time and attendance feature
  • Would like to see a better onboarding options and compensation management
I think it works well in the US, but we need some more support and functionality globally

We just implemented quite a few other add on's for ADP Workforce Now so I've been learning so much lately with the implementation process. It is being used by our department and whole organization. We haven't seen very many issues at all other than a couple user friendly things through the app with onboarding.
  • Report writing is great
  • Transition between recruiting module and onboarding is extremely user friendly.
  • Support staff is usually quick to get back to us.
  • Some of the things from an employee user end aren't very friendly or effective
  • Have an app for practitioners to use - it would be nice to have access to applications on the fly
  • Apps in general more user friendly
With our company size, this is completely appropriate but it seems more suited for larger companies in big cities. Regardless, this software works extremely well with our rural company and suits what we are looking to accomplish with our business module.

I use ADP for payroll
  • Maintain information
  • Timecards
  • Tax Information
  • Help Desk - shorter wait
  • Reports - ease of creating
  • Archive Documents - easier to locate
ADP works great for payroll. When I do reach out to ADP for assistance, I do get the help and/or answers I need. Easy to use and understand adding, editing, and maintaining an employee profile.

Wait/hold times can be quite long and I wish ADP would be a 1 stop shop. Do everything, ACA, medical control etc. for all one price instead of each area as a separate cost.

ERC currently uses LMS, Talent Performance, Payroll, HR and Compliance platforms. ADP is used daily by many different departments. We are currently combining two of our international sites with our Domestic information currently listed in ADP.
  • Process payroll
  • Supplies an Account Rep for each department to help with questions
  • Always training
  • Effective dating with vacation accurals
  • Have mandatory fields. ie ER contact info, correction on timecard - add a note
  • Better reports ie Employee's and Supervisors approve timecards. It lists each day/entry. I'd like to know the timecard has been approved as a whole.
Overall my ADP Workforce now experience has been good. ADP provides useful modules and videos on all pages. The Payroll modules are most useful and critical for our needs. Our dedicated support person is top tier and very helpful.

ADP Workforce Now is used across the entire organization.
  • [It] potentially could streamline open enrollment for health insurance annually, if set up appropriately.
  • [It] houses and tracks all employee data in one software system for reporting.
  • Implementation - [in my experience,] we're still trying to get every aspect set up correctly after over two years.
  • [I think a] dedicated HR representative is necessary, but [in my experience, was] not provided or available ([during my experience,] once we threatened to leave, we finally got [a representative], [but then] they left ADP [and now,] we [are] struggling to get another).
  • [Because of my experience, I would appreciate] a dedicated payroll representative, who actually attends meetings instead of regularly cancelling them, [which has] not helpful.
  • [Because of my experience, I would like] a Time & Attendance representative who can help us resolve setup issues and troubleshoot errors, instead of just telling us to ignore them.
I expect that if it can be set up correctly, it could be a very helpful tool. Our experience has been anything but that.

ADP Workforce Now is used across the whole organization and allows us to more efficiently operate having locations all over the East Coast.
  • Provide useful reporting
  • Excellent support
  • Regular updates and improvements
  • Improved help features to assist users in finding reports and tools that can be useful
ADP Workforce Now is very suitable for a company with 100+ employees. Smaller companies may find that it is more than they need, but it can still be useful. The cost is well worth the benefits and the savings come from making operations more efficient and reducing time needed to accomplish important tasks.

We use it for time and attendance for most of the company, and payroll for the whole company.

It creates more problems than it solved moving to ADP. You cannot rely upon the math, it is very clunky to use, help is questionable. It is very limited as to what it can do.
  • Not much
  • When multiplying the same 2 numbers you get different answers. But both are "right" per ADP.
  • Some reports give you too much info, which is a waste of paper and is not needed i.e. the Time Off Report. When I talked to them about it there wasn't anything they could do. Why do I need to know of an adjustment I made months ago on the current report. All I need is the beginning balance, changes within the period and the ending balance. Other reports aren't available in an easy to read, everything you need basis. I sent a copy from our old program on a Payroll Detail Report for one individual several weeks ago, and they were going to see if they could come up with something similar. I have not heard from them.
  • When setting up a new employee you need to go into several screens to finish entering all the data after you have "completed" the set up. We are in the middle of one time zone, but ADP cannot default our time zone, because some companies use several time zones. Rehires are even worse as ADP wants to put the old file info with the new file. They are two different "files". ADP also assumes home phone and banking info (to name a few) did not change, even though it has been 5 or 6 years since they were here. You have to read all the info in every tile to make sure it is accurate.
  • When setting up a garnishment/lien, you cannot put the goal in. You must save it then go to another place to put the goal in. There are a lot of places that this is the case. You can only do some of the info in one place then go somewhere else to finish it. There would be less room for errors if it was all in one place.
  • When an employee changes positions you have to change supervisor in two different places. Why can't they be linked together?
  • While ADP expects us to fully know and understand how the system works, they themselves barely know and understand their part. They do not understand how it interacts with other parts. For example setting up a new employee, Time & Attendance, Payroll.
  • I have been 5 - 6 months waiting for the manager to call me back in regards to an issue I was having. He was going to help me with it. The last I heard was "give me some dates you are available" I did two weeks worth, with follow-up emails on my part. No response from him.
I gave it a 1 because 0 was not an option. See my previous comments. If you don't ask the right question then you don't get the right answer. They will answer part of your question but not the whole question. They will not ask you questions to better understand what it is you are looking for. Some of their answers are very wordy but they don't tell you anything, or they don't make sense. For example an employee earns $17.00 an hour. Industry standard says there are 2080 hours in a year. So if you multiply 17 x 2080 you get 35,360 for their annual salary. But if you look at ADP they say the annual salary is 35,361.36. When I asked about it I got some runaround about Salaried and 86.67 per pay period that did not make any sense. To start with they are 2 different things. Yes they are both wages but one is based upon the year, not the hours worked within the year, and the other is based upon the number of hours worked.

We use ADP for payroll and as our HRIS and applicant tracking tool. We just recently started utilizing ADP for our open enrollment process and we use the electronic offer letters in the recruiting module to make offers to applicants. We use the electronic onboarding module to onboard our associates. This is very helpful as our HR office is in a central location and we have properties in 18 states.
  • Easy access to employee documents for all
  • Integrates with our Hotel Effectiveness for projecting and reporting
  • Onboarding is great since we do not have HR staff at each location
  • Would be greta if more than one practitioner was able to process the onboarding of new employees
  • Reporting is a little complicated
ADP works well for us since the HR office is centrally located and we have hotels in 18 states and having to manage onboarding, payroll and employee files would be difficult without ADP. This is also difficult when the timeclock has an issue, HR has to contact ADP and them conference in the different location to work through issues.

  • Report creation could be simpler and better standard reports
It would be great if ADP Retirement services was meshed more with WFN so that employees could have a dashboard and see all of their benefits in one place instead of having to log in two different places.

Currently, and for many years now, ADP WorkForceNow has been our primary payroll software company wide. We have found that it allows us to manage our payroll needs including tax filings and benefit management. We are utilizing more and more of the reporting to better address needs of accounting as well. Enhancements that have been made to ADP over the last few years have really addressed many of the government requirements.
  • Tax Filings and any follow up required
  • Assistance with ERC and PPP filings
  • Benefits management
  • General Payroll processing
  • Report creations
  • Ability to change items as new company software changes
  • Long wait times for support
We are not a large company, but ADP provides us with more options than needed to manage our payroll and benefit needs. The processes have evolved over the years to provide a streamline functionality. We do find it difficult to have a long-term client relation person, though. We tend to get support via phone calls, sometimes longer than usual wait times, but it works. The staff is knowledgeable and if they can't help they do get additional support.

Currently, only HR can make the updates in ADP; however, we are slowly rolling out features that staff and managers can do on their own in ADP. This will allow staff to control their profile and for managers to hire and terminate staff in the system. We have tried other payroll programs, but ADP has been the most user friendly.
  • Ease of use by staff
  • System is set up logically
  • There should be custom fields to use. Currently, you need to buy a different version in order to get the custom fields.
  • I like the Bridge, but it can be difficult to find answers sometimes.
We have a shift differential for staff and the system makes it easy for that calculation to happen.
