It is used by the whole organization. It allows employees to view their pay and tax info and allows for time tracking.
  • It is user friendly.
  • You can use it as an application on your mobile device.
  • You should be able to enter notes on a specific day when employees are out on their time card.
  • Not all enhancements are effective.
ADP Workforce Now is customizable to your company's specific need. However, it needs to be more compatible with different web browsers.

We use ADP Workforce Now company wide, across several locations and multiple states. We utilize the recruiting and onboarding modules to help streamline finding candidates and getting them started. We also utilize the payroll function which gives us the visibility that we need from a corporate standpoint to understand what is going on across all of our locations.
  • Payroll is done well. All of the functions are user friendly and intuitive.
  • The strength and size of the company helps leverage and find partners that make tasks within HR easier to accomplish.
  • Customer service can be cumbersome sometimes. Their teams are specialized and being shuffled around until you find the right one is frustrating.
We added a location to our operation sooner than the originally anticipated deadline. This caused payroll issues as the new company code was not ready. Our customer service rep was especially helpful helping us over this obstacle and to push the teams in charge of the new code setup to work a little faster.

The District is using ADP Workforce Now across the entire organization. We are using it for payroll, time and attendance, benefits, and performance management.
  • User Friendly
  • Cannot handle all the complexities of a union contract, need to implement bridges
  • Cannot handle pro-rated based on hourly rate change for non-exempt employees, need to implement bridges
ADP Workforce Now works well for time and attendance and access to employee data. ADP Workforce Now struggles to handle some basic payroll functions, like pro-rated pay. Initial thoughts are that anything outside of standard payroll, ADP Workforce Now appears to struggle with; although ADP will tell you they can do all these things, only to discover the system really can't and in order for Workforce Now to process payroll you need to purchase additional bridge import functionality.

We use ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing, time off, benefits enrollments, and recruiting. It is used across the whole organization. It helps us to house all employee information in one place.
  • Client Services - every time I call into ADP with a question or issue, it usually is resolved promptly by a friendly representative.
  • Payroll processing - very simple process to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Reporting - sometimes it's hard to find the correct report you are looking to reflect the data that you need. I also find it difficult to make custom reports on my own and the phone wait for reporting is usually quite some time.
ADP Workforce Now is well suited for Time and Attendance needs, Time Off record keeping, Personnel Information record keeping, payroll processing, benefit enrollments, and recruiting.
We do not store corrective actions or employee reviews on ADP Workforce Now.

We fully utilize ADP Workforce Now to nearly the fullest extent. We have all the features from time and attendance, recruitment, background screening, performance management, and onboarding. We own 3 companies and all 3 use ADP Workforce Now. I like that everything integrates throughout the system and the reporting is super helpful when I have finance and other executives asking for information quickly.
  • Consistent experience across the platform/easy to use - i.e. recruitment looks like the benefit portal and onboarding - same functions.
  • Helpful call support/dedicated account manager especially reporting support - ADP has 1,000's of clients and they make you feel like you're the only one.
  • I've used UltiPro and what I like about that is you don't have to go to 3 different screens to look for employee info and also when running payroll in UP you can edit the checks directly and not do batches.
  • Time and attendance customization - we have very complex pay policies and I'd like to be able to add different fields to the timecards.
ADP Workforce Now is probably a bit much for a company under 100, but over 100 definitely worth the cost.

It is being used across the organization. It reduces the amount of paper transactions, acts as a document repository, and serves as an intranet.
  • Organized Quarterly Reporting - ADP also alerts us to the need for county filings.
  • Vacation/Personal Requests - System will track and calculate vacation based on your requirements.
  • ADP Pay statement Notification emails - they offer a link to the former ADP website, not the Workforce Now site.
  • Benefit statements - They do not display cost to employee by pay periods - only monthly costs.
It does a great job of filing returns and ensuring we are filing in the appropriate counties.

We use ADP across our whole organization for Time and Attendance and Payroll.
  • Easy access to payroll information.
  • Access to hundreds of much needed reports.
  • The bridge is not very helpful.
  • Lots of glitches when running payroll. Things to not load properly and you have to refresh the page several times.
ADP makes it easy to keep track of payroll information, deductions, and time and attendance tracking. I feel that ADP could use an improvement on the history part of payroll information.

We currently use ADP WFN for our HR, Benefits, Payroll and Time & Attendance. The entire organization uses it across the USA and is used by multiple departments. The business problems it addresses are those of all employee changes and information management, we use it to track all time and attendance at our job sites, performance management and goal tracking, benefit changes and total rewards. It allows our management team to access important data in regards to our people and their teams.
  • The benefits module is excellent.
  • The payroll system is fairly efficient.
  • The onboarding needs to be simplified.
  • ADP needs to stop making changes just for the sake of making changes, do not reinvent the wheel.
ADP is well suited for employee information management, performance management and payroll. It needs to simplify some of the processes and add more need to know information on pages such as the performance dashboard and the recruiting module. For example we have hiring managers trying to track the status of the requisitions they are posting they need to go to their message center and track the notification instead of just being able to see the steps right in the requisition list.

Our law firm uses ADP Workforce Now for Time and Attendance and Payroll for our organization. It tracks employee's hourly clock in/out time without someone inside the firm manually calculating. Also, tracks hire information and vacation/sick request and time off accruals.
  • Time and Attendance - we were calculating manually and depending on employees to track their in/out hours. With ADP each employee clocks in/out by click of a button and the record is automatically updated.
  • Reports - there are many reports and sometimes hard to find the one that is specific to your needs.
If you have more than 2 or 3 employees, it cuts down your time in calculations, up keeping employees individual hours, benefits, and paid time off.

ADP is being used across the company by all employees for time keeping and pay, employee records, PTO and Sick tracking, benefits and 401k. ADP holds all our information and keeps our human resources and accounting departments running smoothly and keeps all the information we may need at our fingertips. Its extremely important to my job and they also help keep us to date with current laws and changes. They may my life and job so much easier.
  • Law changes and compliance
  • Housing employee information
  • I still believe reporting is a little difficult/not user friendly
  • Not being able to adjustment past information (such as time sheets)
Their customer service is outstanding, the system has many features and functionality for all types of company's and scenarios. ADP has been around for a long time and has a great track record, you can trust them.

Our whole organization uses ADP for Time & Attendance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Performance Evaluations, and Benefit Tracking.
  • It contains all employee records in one location - Cuts down on having to use multiple platforms.
  • Easy to access for managers and employees - Although the information accessed is different, each party can use the platform for specific tasks and information.
  • Definitely need additional support for TAS system - Better integration of cover letters and attachments.
  • Policy document portion needs work - I would like to see uploaded document show digital signature instead of running a report to show acknowledgments.
ADP really works well with payroll processing and providing all necessary items for one-off scenarios or last-minute changes.

We use ADP currently for all 6 locations for payroll and ACA. We started using the ACA about 2 years ago. In the beginning, it was very difficult to keep track of hours, etc. but now is getting much easier with use and employee's benefit statuses kicking in. We hope to start using HR in 2020. It is being used by the main office managers -2 of us.
  • The ADP app is very user-friendly.
  • Tracking of ACA.
  • Reports are hard to complete if making a new report.
  • ACA - Employee's hours should show on every part time and full time employee.
We often have other payroll companies come in to show us their programs and cost. ADP is very user-friendly to us both. We both enjoy working with it. ADP keeps us a cost where we do not have to switch payroll companies, except for ACA costs are still quite high.

Dental Depot - ADP Review

Dental Depot uses ADP company wide. We have 24+ offices. Managers use the system to approve employee time, track PTO and submit reviews. The human resources department uses it much more extensively. ADP runs all payrolls for Depot, including our doctor commissions. We also use the talent module as a pipeline for all candidates.
  • The new hire dashboard is helpful and easy to navigate.
  • The home page is customization. Employees don't have difficulty learning where to find items.
  • The report center is not user friendly. The layout of reports is not helpful.
  • The onboarding setup should have more customization. You also can't upload videos that aren't a URL/from YouTube.
Overall, the system is user friendly. There are some areas that could be more efficient, such as a better reports center layout and the ability for employees to add a punch request to be approved by manager. The biggest concern we have with ADP is not knowing what contact to go through for questions. It seems that we have to wait for our account rep to get us the info, then we have to reach out to a generic department, then we have to wait to hear from the individual assign to the inquiry.

Currently using ADP WFN for HR/Benefits, Performance and Payroll. Opengate rolled out several self-service products for employees. Most of our employees currently use the mobile app. We would like for the app to provide more user features.
  • Accessibility of the different functions for administrative users.
  • Mobile app should have more features that employees can utilize.
  • When upgrades are done, ensure that this has not disrupted functionality in the system.
I would recommend the system as it allows for HR/Payroll to be integrated together. Allowing all functions to be located within one system.

We just converted our HR and Payroll system to ADP, both in our US and Spain offices.
  • Payroll processing is excellent. It is an easy platform, all your information and tools are at your fingertips.
  • Reporting capabilities are the best in the industry.
  • Carrier connections was a challenge, but we got it done.
And all inclusive product makes it much easier for an HR/Payroll department of one. All your products are connected and update automatically between screens and platforms. No waiting for overnight updates.

In my organization, WFN is used for payroll, taxes and HRIS. It is only used by the HR and Accounting departments. No other departments have access to WFN.
  • PTO Tracking
  • Payroll
  • Time and Attendance user interface
  • Customer Support
WFN is a great system for smaller companies with less than 100 people in my opinion. It provides all the necessities for a smaller company without the unnecessary bills and whistles larger companies utilize.

All locations of our company use the time clock and payroll system. The web-based program allows our centrally located H/R and payroll departments to access all employee information.
  • The accuracy of tax calculation.
  • Resources to streamline processes without sacrificing oversight.
  • System support - You can get different to the same question and they don't all work.
  • System updates have broken or eliminated useful tools.
ADP is strong for basic payroll and tax calculation. ADP will try and be your one-stop-shop for all things. They simply can't master that variety of tasks.

Currently, we are using ADP as our payroll and employee record-keeping system. ADP is used company-wide for our full-time employees. All performance reviews are completed and housed in ADP, and we recently just rolled out our performance improvement plan as well. We utilize the reporting features for everything from headcounts to benefit invoices.
  • Running simple reports.
  • Making mass updates.
  • Some key features are lost when a new upgrade is implemented.
  • Reporting structures are a little difficult to use.
ADP is a well functioning system and the features (when they work) are user-friendly. My biggest complaint would not even be about the system, it's more so the reps that aren't well versed with the system. They don't seem to be aware of what can be done to resolve system issues, and sometimes I end up finding solutions on my own.

ADP Workforce Now is being used by the entire organization for payroll, timecard management, HR and benefits.
  • APP makes it easily accessible for users.
  • Relatively easy to learn as a new user.
  • Customer support isn't very helpful.
  • The Bridge should be a guide/extra resource, not the main tool for support.
The HR/benefits module is not up to par. There are many new systems that are easier to use and better support Human Resources as a whole.

We currently use ADP WFN for all our HR and payroll needs. We onboard all our new hires through ADP, manage their time off, and process their pay. The platform is extremely user friendly and we love that our employees can download the app so they can see their pay and request time off on the go.
  • The field grabber feature makes it so easy to build custom reports and find the exact data needed.
  • The whole interface of ADP in general is fantastic. The site is easy to navigate and looks clean and professional.
  • Many times we have employees that receive salary changes mid pay period and the Retro Pay feature can be confusing when trying to calculate these changes.
  • Every now and then, the system will freeze when running a payroll preview. It's nothing major, just a little annoying when you're on a tight deadline and you have to keep refreshing the page.
One of my favorite features is the reporting tool in ADP. We do many detailed reconciliations on the back end and the reporting tool allows us to create very detailed, custom reports to integrate into our reconciliations. The Field Grabber tool is awesome when searching for a specific field that you may not know exactly which category it falls under.

Onset uses ADP across the entire organization. We are able to track engineering project hours, time off and absenteeism. We just purchased a timeclock which will allow for more efficient accounting of time worked.
We also use the performance reviews which suit our needs quite well.
  • Great payroll support
  • Easier reporting
  • Recruiting process
  • Complicated benefits programs set up
ADP is a great option for payroll, time and attendance and performance. Performance, benefits and recruiting are a bit confusing to set up for the average user. That said, once it is set up it works well - with the exception of the recruiting module. I do not like the feature that requires a job posting being required to match our job descriptions. Also, it would be nice if employees can see their job descriptions.

I am recommending a joint partnership with SHRM - to incorporate their 360 review process into ADP. It is a great tool.

Our organization uses Workforce Now for our entire organization, including payroll processing. It is our database for employee information and speaks to other systems for updates.
  • The Merit system is very well-designed and is reflective of the complexities that can come about from implementing Merit-based pay
  • The user-interface is nice, making it relatively easy for managers to figure out where they need to go.
  • Custom activities have bugs that made us quit using them.
  • The goals/performance dashboard doesn't seem like it was designed by HR professionals and is confusing for managers.
It is great for day-to-day operational activities but is less suited for bigger undertakings (such as onboarding and performance reviews).

We use ADP Workforce Now throughout the entire company for our payroll and time keeping needs. Initially we wanted a system to help with the 1095c forms and our W2's but have since incorporated the time keeping system as well. We also use it as our intranet to post current and important information for our employees.
  • The finger punch system for time keeping is very easy to use.
  • Paperless information is easier for employees to access.
  • The reports ADP provides have a lot to be desired. Very hard to use and manipulate.
  • Recovering previous year's information is very difficult.
ADP Workforce Now is great for large or small businesses. We are able to keep up with time cards very easily through the app and the online system. With over 300 employees, ADP has cut down paperwork for the HR/Payroll department by half. Most of the information employees need is available in one of the many sections of ADP. It also made open enrollment paperless and much easier to track.
