Our HR team is spending more time than we did previously due to Workforce Now.
The learning curve is very long. Having to call and wait on hold for help is time-consuming. Our reps have been very helpful, but most times for new items we have questions on, we have to watch learning bytes or attend webinars. It is difficult to fit these into an already busy schedule.

I am unsure of the exact amount of time saved, but I do know that there have been many hours saved. Calculations are done by ADP, where before the accountant would have to manually calculate taxes. ADP files all our taxes and liens for us, which took that completely off us as the employer.

Our HR team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much.
We are just utilizing the HR features, so this year has been one of time investment for future time savings. Previously there was no tangible data available as HR details were not kept anywhere. ADP housed only the field necessary for processing payroll. As we have worked to populate the fields use the hiring and termination templates, we are systematically collecting data for future reporting. Likely there will be some time savings in the long run, but our biggest win will be to have accurate data in a presentable format with little time invested on the gathering of the data.

Our HR team is spending more time than we did previously due to Workforce Now.
Because all of the sections of the employee profile are separate for updating yet create a new position record we have to do extra steps to assure change reasons are captured correctly for reporting. For instance for a supervisor change in our previous system was one step to update and in ADP it is 3 steps; update the reports to field, update the Time & Attendance Supervisor and update the Position record created by the reports to change with the correct change reason.

ADP has been a very beneficial software for us to use in processing payroll, keeping track of hours worked and benefits. Our company has grown in size in the seven years I have been with them from 100 employees to 190 employees. I can't imagine doing these things without having a reliable tool to make it easier. It really is hard to measure how much time it has saved us but with our growth, it would have gotten harder to process and track these things without ADP. Thank You, ADP!

The process is very easy. The only issue we've had is with the ACA module not being real-time. Our forms were incorrect and we have to manually correct over 1,300 forms. We have this issue for the last 3 years and its been very difficult to correct this amount of forms manually.

When I started in my position 20+ years ago we went from paper to electronic capture of time punches on computer. Once it was automated, payroll calculation was no longer a 2-day process. We collect punches, verify our payroll using preview reports and submit payroll all in one day now. Sometimes by mid-afternoon even. Very easy!

While I'm sure our HR team has saved time during benefits open enrollment and benefits enrollment for new team members or qualifying events, during the rest of the year it's hard to determine how much time the system has saved us. Team member usage is spotty for us as an organization and we still receive many calls for assistance and end up walking them through the process on ADP.

We used to have our benefits administrator come in on the weekends to keep up with new enrollments but now with ADP she can work M-F. The connection between ADP and our carriers are beyond words, especially when we have to send over new employees. Our site admins and satellite personnel have been able to communicate effectively to our HR staff with field issues, which makes our lives better.

The previous solution required a lot of manual labour to get payroll processed as well as managing the time cards. It was clunky and now adp workforce now takes care of everything in the cloud. As well we now have a lot of self-service options for staff and also the privacy of the users' data instead of paper copies of documents that would flow to departments and managers throughout the organization. With everything being online and available there are fewer help desk calls to HR about time, payroll, and holiday time than ever before.

Our HR team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much.
Since we have had multiple people sitting in the payroll spot and HR spots prior to my joining the organization, this isn't really a fair eval. Because we are all new, within the last almost 2 years. We are all still trying to figure out how the old team had ADP implemented. Once we get everything running and trained on, I assume we will be saving loads of time!
