Alteryx

Started out using alteryx for complex labor modeling - basically bringing in data from lots of sources and blending how we needed. Now I use it for almost everything because its easier than excel and python. With low to no code you can have the same data outputs as python (with pandas dataframes) and/or R... or you can add your own code in!

Alteryx is the unique data analytics tool I have ever used or tested. Learning the tool is very quick, you can start to analyze as soon as you start to use. Maybe you cannot be a super analyst, but you start to analyze in 2 hours or less. You can save tremendous of time, automate many processes. It's cross platform and supports tens of databases which you can bring all together and start analyzing. Spatial Analysis, direct support R and Python, Machine Learning, Intelligence Suite and much more in only one product. I use it more than 4 years and I cannot live without Alteryx. If you're in the cloud, it is already supported. Thank you Alteryx and its developers who contributed to my work that much.

This software has transformed the way I deal with large data quickly. I have built many applications on this platform which automate tasks for me. It makes it easier to share the workload when everything has the same template as an analytic app. I couldn't imagine going back to using Excel as my primary data tool. It also help encourage me to learn other software such as python as it can all be used together to achieve a lot more

We've data coming from multiple on premise and could data base and they are all handled by different team with restriction to data. However, we need to use data from multiple source for BI and Analytics. This is where Alteryx has been of immense help. We are able to do data preparation and create a single data set for our BI which is then used for our reporting and dashboard purposes.

Alteryx was deployed on a special ASC740 Project, where data from multiple files was aggregated and streamlined to pick up relevant information from certain columns based on specified conditions.

I gave consulting to enterprises using Alteryx to streamline their data to insight pipeline, it included finance firms, retail & cpg, manufacturing, airlines... major problems that are common were reaching out the multiple data sources and tumbling them which creates big tables, joining data and enriching... Alteryx was fast and easy on that... It has great geospatial capabilities as well. And good AutoML capabilities. Forecasting is a bit simpler than expected unfortunatley and optimization capabilities were small scale...

Alteryx is used for many different purposes in my organization. I can speak for Global Supply Chain. Within Global Supply Chain Data Domain Alteryx is used as Tool for running different workflows in order to monitor material master data Quality for example. Different rules are implemented so that master data settings can be improved based on the results.

Our Tax Department uses Alteryx to compile sales and use data for filings; to instantly create journal entries from bank downloads compared to our property management company records; to reconcile all GL accounts; to create accruals with up to the minute processing data; and so much more. We had been using Alteryx for a few years before we merged with another company and having so many things automated before doubling the number of shops and expanding how many states we're in was the only thing that saved our sanity.

I use Alteryx to teach my students how to utilize advanced data analytics software for conducting complex analyses on large datasets. I also recommended its use to our controller's office with the aim of streamlining their processes.

Alteryx used for data wrangling, modeling, and data visualization. I find that Alteryx has an easy-to-use user interface and makes the ETL process smoother. I think the data visualizations produced by Alteryx are generally good, although not the best in the industry. Overall, I use Alteryx when I want to be able to easily reproduce a data process and want to be able to do analytics quickly.

We currently utilize Alteryx for these corporate functions.
1. SAS replacement for department ETL
2. automation of processes in finance and sales
3. upskilling analysts
4. feeding Snowflake using bulk loader.
It is also being used as a rules engine to enforce some compensation rules in sales. Finance, Sales, IT, Actuary, Operations, Tax are all utilizing Alteryx.

Alteryx has helped us significantly improve our speed and accuracy allowing us to focus on the finer detail. The tool's ability to automate with zero coding experience needed is second to none and is being used by analysts of all technical capabilities.

We use it to aggregate large amounts of Excel file (templates) into a single lead sheet that can be analyzed and used in Tax Return software.

We use Alteryx for tax automation. We streamline processes that have multiple inputs, consolidate data and automate the calculation of complex tax adjustments. Alteryx has taken processes that used to take days to months of time down to minutes. We can now save time and reduce hours of manual labor while decreasing the rate of manual errors that come with a manual process. Team members spend less time on manual tasks and can now focus on value-add activities related to the tax provision and compliance processes.

We use Alteryx to enable decision-makers to access information that transforms our internal operations. This primarily functions as a tool for accessing our data lake and manipulating the data in a low-code format that can then either be directly output into reports for users to access, or to be used with Tableau where we build out dashboards for users to pick and choose views they want to see.

Our team uses Alteryx to pull in data from multiple sources (mostly excel and S3 buckets), then blend, prep, and apply formulas in a forecasting model. This model is used to give labor forecasts and recommendations. As an individual contributor I have grown to love Alteryx as it takes the place of using Python and Excel individually for prepping reports and blending data.

In total, Alteryx is the jack-of-all toolboxes for your jack-of-all workers that don't have the time to learn to code or learn fifteen different platforms. With their no-code/low-code options anyone can start automating.

I have implemented it to create (and automate) our month end reports for ALCO at the beginning of each month and reflecting back on the previous month-end/quarter-end. It can be used to create applications to provide a more seamless analysis search for a less-skilled user. I have used it to geocode and then reverse-geocode within the same workflow in order to get an accurate depiction of data within our branch regions. My favorite use case at the moment is not what it is really advertised for. My team and I are building an application to be accessed by the Accounting team to create entries/review entries/attach support for entries that will create the necessary file outputs to be batch uploaded the following day.

Alteryx has solved nearly everything. Data automation, data solutions, really anything you put your mind to - Alteryx can solve it. We have tens of thousands of users and Alteryx has increased productivity to a level that isn't even measurable. So many processes have been automated across numerous lines of businesses

Alteryx is used across all aspects of the business, from HR to finance, legal to supply chain. We solve everyday data cleanliness and connectivity problems and generate insights using automated machine learning. We connect systems together, clean & combine datasets, generate additional features, and (depending on the use case) perform a variety of analytics: spatial, prescriptive, and predictive. All are automated dynamically by Alteryx.

We handle a lot of data. We need to do so accurately, consistently, and efficiently. Since we have been using Alteryx, we have been able to re-platform and (massively) improve existing processes as well as introduce new ones, many of which are available to colleagues on a self-serve basis. Processes that used to take a day, now take minutes, while we have been able to handle data in a level of detail that we were unable to do previously. Scheduling a simple App to check data has already saved us thousands. Moreover, I love developing on Alteryx; it is intuitive, flexible, and enjoyable to use.

Alteryx is being used across the whole organization from the tax department to the assurance department. Alteryx is a fantastic software that allows for data manipulation and complex workflows that would normally take a program like excel double, maybe even twice the manual work. With Alteryx expect juiced up version of excel with a workflow layout allowing you to build custom flows to manipulate and understand complex data.

Our organization has data in several different systems. Alteryx does an excellent job of connecting our various systems, blending the data, and formatting the data in a way our users need it. I use Alteryx to send daily dashboard reports, exception reports, parse website data, and anything else we have data related. Alteryx does an exceptional job formatting the data exactly how we need it.
