Our cloud platform architecture was designed in order to collect, analyze, and optimize modern networks, from AWS-powered computing, networking, storage, and more. So, we needed a reliable, scalable, and secure global computing infrastructure. Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing were key features in our evaluation and later on for scalability and high performance. We being a cybersecurity company, we needed to ensure that our cloud provider utilizes an end-to-end approach to secure and harden the infrastructure, including physical, operational, and software measures - which AWS had all in place.

Overly complex, not straightforward, unable to do some very basic actions, have to go to so many different screens to do a simple job like run up a server and connect it to the VLAN. Very little visibility. Set up monitoring and pray it's actually working, as laying eyes on actual live stats, processes, etc is almost impossible. A simple job like seeing server logs live is difficult. Figuring out where DDOS is coming from if you are behind a load balancer is a nightmare. You can't log into the LB and grip the network traffic or see logs live in the console.

AWS is offering many services under one umbrella and every year they are adding new and improving the existing ones. Hence if you want any type of deployment on the cloud, you will find one tool to solve the purpose.
